Hi Kate thanks for the feedback and so sorry you didn't feel like you received a 5/5 experience at Samanvaya. The area that is being built is away from the hotel and it is our new staff area. It is very difficult to expand as there is always going to be a little of noise. We do our best to make sure our guests are as happy as can be. We do not start the project until after 9am and work finishes by 5pm. The construction has now been completed. The burning of the rice waste happens everywhere in Bali and is impossible to control - this is the lively hood of the local people. We are sorry that the key broke to the doors but this was out of our control. In relation to the bugs as you will know Bali is a tropical country and this is also very difficult to control. The villa you were in had two lounge chairs at the end of the bed and there is no desk or TV - this is all very clear in our photos and online description. We have a library area if you were wanting an office space. Also the stairs are standard when you are wanting to have great views - our stairs are a lot less than a lot of other hotels in the area. We are super happy you enjoyed the Asri dining experience. We wish you happy onward travels.

I have reached out to you via email to try and get some more information about the massages that you say were not good but have had no reply. I also spoke to both therapists along with our office staff who dealt with you at check out and they all said you did not mention any of this to them. If either of you had asked for lesser pressure during the treatment they girls then of course the girls would have complied, as you know massage is a very different thing for all of us. In relation to the spa itself and the pricing urge people to check our spa online (menu with pricing is also on website), the pics and prices are clear that our spa is high standard and price point is very comparable to a hotel spa of our size and standard. Hi thanks for taking the time to review us and glad you enjoyed your stay at Samanvaya. The rooms are dimly lit and this is done to create a soft romantic lighting in the room and around the resort. I am sorry you found the breakfast portion small and we always look into these comments. Our breakfast includes fresh fruit, tea/coffee and either orange juice or detox smoothie plus a choice from our ala carte menu of chilli scrambled eggs with toast, creamy mushrooms with toast, french toast with banana and bacon, Indonesian breakfast of either Nasi or Mie Goreng or a continental breakfast. If our guests request more toast and jam etc this is also complimentary. I hope you did mention this to our staff as they would have made sure you didn't go away feeling hungry. Our honeymoon package is extremely popular as we have lots of guests who come to stay with us due to the tranquility of the hotel and of course Sidemen. Our average stay is 3 to 4 nights as this gives our guests an opportunity to discover what the area has to offer and also some time to relax and enjoy the amenities we have here. You are right the superior villas overlook the swimming pool which some people like but they have the least amount of privacy of all our villas. We have good descriptions on our website explaining each room and are also in the process of uploading vides of each room so that our guests know what they are booking. As for the credit card fee's this is happening more often now as hotels and other establishments are being charged these fee's by their banks. Some owners don't pass the fee on but they will no doubt be adding it to the property prices when advertising. Again so happy you enjoyed your time with us and we look forward to your return to Samanvaya. Happy and safe travels.
