Exceptional stay at the Belmond! This is a true gem in Tuscany, the food is out of this world, the service is exceptional and the property is stunning ! Would highly recommend the truffle hunting. Fantastic resort. Awesome staff and service.
The concierge service at the hotel was great, they were able to arrange flowers and champagne on arrival for us. They were very prompt with all communication. The hotel and grounds are in pristine condition. The restaurant was great, the bar was amazing, the pool was fun. We only had one day here, but wish we would have booked it longer. Already hoping to come back some day.

It is not Castello , it is castel. Big old with all negatives and positives. Room are spacious but dark. Surrounding is terrific , wow views. Super service , but kitchen is not equal. One day you have five profiteroles , next only three. It shouldnt be.

El mejor Castelo en la Toscana
Quedarnos en Castelo di Casole fue una de las mejores experiencias de nuestro viaje. La atención del personal fue espectacular, Nosotros queríamos visitar la toscana y amablemente nos tenían mapas y excelentes recomendaciones para pasar el día. Si volvemos a visitar la Toscana, no dudaríamos en quedarnos ahí. Fue un sueño quedarnos en un castillo, y pudimos cumplirlo.

Nice Hotel
We had a great time during our stay at The Belmond. The room was large and clean, and the bathroom was wonderful. Would give this hotel 4 out of 5 stars as it need minor, super picky improvements (ex: no “do not disturb” sign to use for door, no spirits in mini bar, no iron of coffee machine in room, service as breakfast a bit scattered.) Overall, lovely hotel and would return.

As for the Do not disturb sign, it is in every room in the closet with the laundry form, in case you wish to have an ironing service. I am surprised to hear about the minibar as we have the minibar with different beverages including Spirits. As for the coffee machine, you are correct, not in all the rooms we do have a machine, but always happy to provide one upon request. Amazing hotel, but very pricey to eat and drink
This was a very high end location with impeccable service. The location is idyllic, but it is the staff that is the key to this location. Every staff member was outstanding, polite and helpful. They never made you feel like you were bothering them. I never have a problem paying for an outstanding hotel, my only major issue with this hotel was the price you paid for the extras. If you do not have a car, this location is out of the way; therefore, you cannot leave the hotel very easily without utilizing the hotel's car service. This is a charming aspect of this hotel, but their prices (food and car) and the restaurants small menus were bothersome. The food prices were outrageous (9 Euros for a Peroni, 20 Euros for a garden salad with chicken, 20 Euros for an Aperol Spritz) and, although of high quality, you should never have to feel like you are being screwed over at every meal or cocktail.

Dream destination.
We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the absolutely perfect. Incredible hotel, service, delicious food, and amazing views of the Tuscan hills. Height of luxury. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Most Incredible Resort
Hands down the best staff anywhere, and we have traveled all over. Incredibly fri belt and attentive and accommodating. And the resort itself is simply special. Vistas out of a Hollywood set. The spa was fantastic and the food, wow.

Very pretty but not a true Tuscan experience
This is a beautiful luxury property but, being part of a U.S. consortium, is definitely not a true Tuscan experience. A good 80 to 90 percent of guests were American so, if you want to feel at home, this is the place for you. I personally will not stay here again, mostly for this reason.

Great hotel but terrible service
We loved the hotel, but the service was very poor. I can give a few examples from some of all the mishaps during our stay. During one breakfast I wanted to sit in the shade, so I asked one of the waiters for help in moving the parasol. The response I got was "madam it is very heavy". The waiter then watched me and my husband move it by ourselves without offering to help. The day after I was carrying two plates from the breakfast buffé to my table and one of the waiters asked me if they could help me. The waiter then took one of the plates and put it down on a table next to him and left. I waited a while outside for the waiter to come out to the patio with my plate but then had to go in again and get it myself. During one lunch we wanted to split the bill between us like we'd done the day before, but the waiter said that it was not possible. When we told him that it had in fact been possible the day before he responded that it was better for him if we did not split it. We could not believe what we were hearing. On top of it all, this was after one in our party had to wait an additional 45 minutes than the rest for his lunch to arrive because the waiter had mixed up the order. When we checked out they said see you again soon - trust me when I say that we will never come back to this hotel. For this price, I would have expected much better service.

Perfect Tuscany site
Nicest hotel that we stayed at in Italy. Exceptional service and they strive to be upscale and deliver. Impeccable views, grounds, rooms, and restaurant. Almost felt too nice to be true-- blend of older style with new updates. A bit Disney-fied in feel that it seems to cater to mostly Americans and few locals. However, this means no hassles, broken fixtures, etc. (but it is a very different feel like a California spa vs. an old Italy village hotel). Only minor note is that it is a bit removed off by itself on a hill, which is great if one wants to relax, but would have to drive a bit to see authentic local villages, or go to other restaurants or day trips to San G., etc. However, it was perfect for us as a 2 night stay. Restaurant Tosca is worth it, and the service at ever level was perfect. Beautiful views over the terrace and pool.
