We are traveling on a 9 month trip and this is the best place we have stayed yet. The host family is delightful, the room and property are impeccable and breakfast was delicious. We were thrilled with the Il Rondo.

This is a fantastic place to stay in Montepulciano. It is just outside the walls and you are in a country setting. Close by there is a full size grocery store with many gluten-free options. The service is excellent and the place is beautiful with a lovely garden. At this quality it is a very low cost and I would definitely come back again.

This was the most beautiful and most enjoyable hotel we stayed in in our nine days traveling all over Italy. The family owned 7room hotel is clean and decorated so beautifully. The garden and the grounds are amazing. The family is welcoming and so kind and helpful. It made me want to move in and live there.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful, restful B&B for four nights. What a kind and helpful family! Niccolo spent time with us helping us with directions and other useful information.The garden was a beautiful place to relax away from the crowds. The breakfast was perfect! We will certainly come back!

Charming hotel
Very charming family-run boutique hotel, with gardens to match. Parking provided was convenient. The staff were lovely and happy to give us advice on how to best spend our time in Tuscany. The hotel is in walking distance of the historic town centre, and the staff gave us good recommendations for restaurants. We were travelling with another couple and were given a suite with two private bedrooms with bath, plus a shared sitting area, which was very nice. Breakfast was served in a lovely room and had substantial selection, including made to order coffees. The only complaints were that there was noise from the other room below us (the area itself is very quiet), and the hotel does not allow any food or drink in the rooms, which is strange since we were in the wine region and would have liked to enjoy a glass of wine in our sitting room. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Thank you very very much for your nice review! In the sitting area it's not possible to make pic nic or dinner because it's a bed and breakfast not an appartment but it's obvioulsy possible to drink a glass of wine and enjoy some local food. Best!

Great short stay in Tuscany
Fabulous family run Albergo really conveniently located within walking distance of the old town of Montepulciano. Very comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast and the sweet figs from their large garden grounds were a real treat. A great short stay for us in Tuscany

Magnificent mountain top
We arrived at the bus station not having a clue how to proceed when suddenly Amerigo says Ken’s name. We were so relieved.ll Rondo is a luxury albergo.Everything was perfect! Clean, quiet, charmingly Italian in its decor. We were presented with a glass of Persecco and a map with locations for touring. Lovely, picturesque surroundings.

Hotel pequeno, mas bem aconchegante. Quarto e banheiro grandes, apenas o banho um pouco apertado. Atendimento excelente dos proprietários e um cafe da manha delicioso. Uma pequena caminhada de 700m para o centro histórico. Excelente localizacao e tem estacionamento.

A true diamond of a gem
It was raining and the walk from parking to the restaurant would have soaked us so the owner of the hotel drove us to the restaurant and had them call him to pick us up and back to hotel. Hotel was charming and very romantic

Lovely albergo just outside Montepulciano
This charming albergo is tucked away in a beautiful secluded garden setting just down the hill from the mountaintop village of Montepucliano. It is a B&B style facility, serving breakfast in a common dining room which consists of a large array of both Italian and international breakfast items. Our room was spacious and clean, and looked out onto the beautifully landscaped garden area. The albergo is family-run, and we were greeted by the son Niccolo (bilingual with excellent English) who checked us in promptly, provided a brief tour and explanation of the amenities on the property, and provided what turned out to be excellent recommendations for a lovely drive in and around the Montepulciano area. The family lives in a separate house on the property, and it is clear that they take both great care and pride in their albergo.

A slice of Italian heaven
A really lovely stay - the family are great hosts. Very helpful on everything - Nico acted as a personal taxi driver for us, which was great for our wine tastings! The lady of the house bakes great cakes and pastry for breakfast - setting you up for the day! We will be back again

recomendo a todos esse hotel. O dono e a dona são muito amáveis e pessoas maravilhosas. Nos auxiliaram em tudo que precisamos! Foi um dos melhores hotéis que ficamos, super aconchegante e acolhedor. Great hotel to visit Montepulciano
Great Hotel to visit Montepulciano and surroundings. Excellent breakfast and service. Very clean hotel. Only a 10 minute walk to the "entrance" (old city wall)of the city. Parking inclusive.

Above average accommodation with great breakfast!
We stayed at Albergo Il Rondo for 3 nights in Sept. 2015 and couldn't have been happier with the accommodation and service we received. The family who run this B&B are so friendly and helpful, giving us helpful suggestions on restaurants to go to and hill towns to visit and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was probably the best we've had at any of the hotels we've stayed at, complete with cappucino! I would highly recommend this hotel style B&B (the 7 rooms are in a separate building from the owners' home) to anyone looking for above average accommodation in Italy. Montepulciano is also a very charming town and a great central place to explore other parts of Tuscany from.

Well kept hotel, excellent staff
Il rondo is a really nice hotel, clean and well kept, with a decent breakfast and very helpful, attentive staff. It is well placed for exploring the tuscan countryside, and only a 10 minute walk from Gracciana nel corso, the middle of historic Montepulciano. Although this is a small climb, so the hotel is not for the lazy!!
