Magnifique lieu de séjours avec vue sur San Gimini
Magnifique lieu en campagne avec vue sur San Gimignano.. Tranquilité et calme. La famille qui nous accueille est très gentille et sympatique.. Les produits servis au petit déjeuner sont tous faits maison et biologiques... une excellente adresse que je recommande

Perfect for what we wanted
We had a wonderful stay and were treated more like visiting family than customers. Beautiful views of San Gim and the surrounding valley made it more special. Loved it and would go back for sure. A bit of a walk into the centre (10 mins or so), to be considered if you’re not as fond or as able. But that’s the flip side of having the great view and somewhere easy to park your car

Beautiful scenery and very comfortable accomodation. A good base for wider visits as well as an interesting town in itself

Pour un beau séjour à San Gimignano
Les propriétaires de l'hôtel sont formidables. Très serviables, ils donnent beaucoup d'informations sur les environs. L'hotel est très sympa, petit (4 chambres), au calme, à l'écart du centre ville (vaut mieux avoir une voiture mais ça n'est pas du tout obligatoire). Ne pas hésiter à passer un coup de fil si vous arrivez par le bus au centre ville pour qu'on vienne vous chercher en voiture. Le petit déjeuner servi est très correct. Pas de restauration à proprement parler par contre. On peut demander un repas froid (fromages, charcuterie, ...) à prendre sur la terrasse devant l'hôtel (s'il ne pleut pas :) ) pour 25€ par personne (tarifs sept 2018).

Increíble lugar. A escasos 15 minutos a pie del centro de San Giminiano. Lugar para estacionar en el hotel ( muy importante en la Toscana). Es un pequeño hotel atendido por sus dueños. La habitación muy amplia, lo mismo que el baño. Limpieza absoluta. Todo muy cuidado. La decoración de muy buen gusto. Lo mejor, una terraza propia en la habitación con una vista espectacular de la ciudad de las torres. Desayuno abundante y hecho en casa, muy variado y con especialidades de la región.Sus dueños muy atentos, para quedarse conversando todo ello día. Volveremos aqui, si volvemos a la Toscana

A great choice for a B&B in San Gimignano
Locanda Viani is a lovely small, family run guest house. The location was perfect, a lovely peaceful place within the Tuscan countryside, yet just a pleasant country 12-15 minutes' walk from the historical centre of the town. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and we had a fabulous view from our window of the town of San Gimignano. The furnishings, facilities and general up-keep of the guest house was very good. A nice cold buffet breakfast was offered each day with cereals, meats, cheeses, toast, cakes, fruit and tea and coffee. They also wherever possible ensure their food is organic. Paula and Roberto who run the guest house were very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and Paula worked hard to get our room ready ahead of schedule. They also offered helpful information and were generally always warm and welcoming. Roberto is also an excellent artist and the rooms and breakfast room were also a gallery of his amazing paintings which itself was lovely to see but also a lovely unique and personal touch to the place. And he is very talented! The guesthouse having just a few rooms made for a relaxing, quiet place with a friendly and personal feel about it. To summarise, the B&B was clean, comfortable with a great location, lovely friendly owners and a personal touch. If I was going back to San Gimignano, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Perfect place to stay for San Gimignano
Excellent locanda - stunning views and Paola and Roberto couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Short walk to San Gimignano which is wonderful. Also served with great food. Highly recommended.

Deserves more than 5 Stars!
Wish we could give it more than 5 stars! Beautiful villa just a pn easy10 minute walk from San Gimignano. We stayed in the yellow room which is large, beautifully decorated, has a wonderful walk in shower and best of all a large terrace with a fantastic view of San Gimignano. Breakfast was creatively prepared by Paulo who also fixed us a delicious dinner one night that was served on the patio under a full moon! The family that owns the boutique hotel, Roberto, the artist, Paulo, the chef and their adorable sons, Caesar and Julio, could not be kinder or more accommodating, everything from making dinner reservations, giving touring suggestions, and providing electric adapters (check yours to make sure it works in Italy!) Tuscany is a glorious place and Locando Viani makes it even more special!
