호텔스닷컴 vip멤버일정도로 전세계 호텔이용을 많이하는편인데. 이호텔은 정말 절대가지마세요. 가격은 4-5성급인데 시설은 1-2성급이나 될까. 어디 시골 러브모텔수준도 안되는 곳이에요. 정말 최악의 호텔.

Not recommend.
During the Singapore National Holliday, the room charge is very high, but hotel service is very poor. The compressor fan of air conditioner was very noizy, so I request room change or repair, but no action was taken. I will never use. again.

저렴한 호텔 찾다가 예약했는데 최악~~~ 티보관 서랍에서 바퀴벌레 ~~~ 언어도 안되고 좋게 바퀴벌레 나왔으니 청소다시 요청만~~~담날 관광후 돌아와보니 라면 햇반 김 들어있던 봉투 사라짐 조근조근 따질수 있는 언어실력도 안되고 해서 그냥 퇴실~~~ 다시 방문하고프지 않은 호텔

We booked this room before leaving the airport When we arrived they said they had no booking even though we had the confirmation from wotif. The hotel would not check us in … after 2 hours they said they would check us in if we sign a piece of paper saying that if the confirmation didn’t go through we would pay x amount … $55 more then wotif. It was 11:30 at night by now and we had been flying 9 hours before so we agreed Management said for our inconvenience they would give us free breakfast .. thank you we said…The luggage trolly had our luggage on it in the foyer but the luggage guy would not take it to the room for us … he said we could take the Tilly with us but needed to bring it back down once we were done … we did not take it back down …. we went to our room and contacted Wotif … Wotif did all they could and finally rang the hotel and sorted it all out … it was 1am by this stage …. The hostel then rings our room and said yes we got your confirmation so now the complimentary breakfast was cancelled …..We couldn’t believe it ! The room was very tacky bed was hard tv didn’t work no complimentary water and you had to step up and over a large bath to get into the shower that had a nozzle you had to hold as it would not stay in the holder and there was mild in the shower. in the morning we found an envelope under the door saying that a complimentary breakfast was now available to us again …. We could not get out of this hotel quick enough ….

One Nights stay
After booking a nights stay at Hotel Chancellor i felt a bit aprihensive after reading some reviews. So here is my opinion. The hotel checking staff were lovley, friendly and helpful. Yes the hotel is a bit dated,, and she has a few battle scars for her age, but don't we all? 😁 The room was clean and comftable, Aircon worked excellent. The shower had GREAT preasure. Free Wifi works well. if you want a modern, renovated hotel, expect to pay more. Hotel Chancellor is all you need for the price you are paying.

Would not recommend
Location is convenient with lots of shopping, food, and public transport options within walking distance. However, the hotel itself is quite disappointing. There was a weird stench in the room once I opened the door. I found a piece of hair on one of the pillowcases. I left my carry-on sized suitcase with the concierge during check-out and was given a tag to claim it later. When I arrived again in the evening, there was no one at the luggage counter, but my suitcase was left unattended in front of the counter. I helped myself to my suitcase, sat in the lobby for 10 minutes and no one even asked about it. I couldn't help but think that anyone could've walked in during the day and walked out with my suitcase. Needless to say, I'm quite disappointed with my experience at this hotel.

Considerate di soggiornare in un Hotel a due stelle e pagarlo come un 5 stelle. Vecchio, non ristrutturato, non confortevole. La posizione però è effettivamente comoda, in zona ci sono molti ristoranti, centri commerciali e metro.

This hotel is ideally located just behind ritzy Orchard Rd and the location is fantastic. For its price, the amenities were adequate but the management is clearly scrimping on staff. There was a bottleneck during check-in where I had to wait for 20 mins or more. This has never happen to me in the 30 plus other hotels I have stayed in Singapore. Since the hotel does not allow early check-in, the bottle-neck occurred when a mass of new patrons all attempted to check-in between 2.30 and 3.30 pm. This problem was compounded by the fact that there only two check-in staff when there should be twice that number. This is an old four stars hotel but the service (through no fault of the staff but management) is closer to two stars.

Overall ok just need some maintenance for Room 816 maintenance list: - aircond is not cold eventhough adjusted to 16 and high - shower head is tilted, doesnt straighten up - light bulbs above bed needs fixing. 1 of it flashes throughout the night when the switch is off Room 818 - shower head is tilted, doesnt straighten up - no shower curtain so water splashed out wet - light bulb above bed and above TV needs fixing due to keep flashing when turn on
