the real condition of this hotel is very different with posted picture. it is just like one star~one and half star hotel. the room is smaller than typical Japanes business hotel (i.e: Toyoko inn), please do not make plan to share this room with other people.

Unfortunately I have to start with the bad things about the property. This is the first hotel room I have stayed in where there were cockroaches, I had killed 7 in total during the 3 nights here. The bathroom water also had a funny smell, especially when using the hot shower. Overall the hotel seemed dated too. For AU$160/night it felt not up to standard. Other than that the hotel was ok, check in and check out were easy, and the location near Bugis and 3 MRT stations was excellent.

Just had a 2 night stay at this hotel & we were very dissappointed for Singapore standards - the air con vent in the room was ready to fall from the ceiling, i could see into the roof space from the bathroom light, there was a vent above the bed that seemed to vent to the ceiling cavity, there wasn't a fridge in the room, breakfast was only a Chinese style, the tv was a 18'' monitor style, the shower leaked into the bathroom floor, the hotel was very noisy from people slamming doors and disregard for other hotel patrons, this hotel should only be rated at 1 star. This hotel needs a lot of work to bring it anywhere near a 3 star

Hotel was ok for what we needed (F1) but reception staff didn’t really smile much and WiFi was not much good as had to put password etc every time we came back. Asked at reception but was told that’s just how it is. Not very helpful. Oh and the shower was cold always...but good for basic F1 accommodation.

我只能說花16,700住四晚真的很不值得、房間狀況很多，熱水不熱、冰箱不冷、地毯髒污、浴室淹水、房間燈沒有燈罩燈泡外露、每天早上都有陸客團五點到六點的morning call（包含站在走廊上大聲叫喊）、跟圖片差很多、所謂的第三床簡直就是行軍床、整個房間都是霉味、浴室很臭、爛爆了極點、註：第一張及第二張圖是實際的房間照片 第三張圖是Hotel.com上的照片

This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Didn't feel comfortable putting our children on the floor. Had not been vacuumed in a long time

The hotel is not what the expedia pictures depict. The carpets are a disgrace. Toilet need renewing. Could be so much better with a bit of paint and renovation.

Agreeable hotel at a price to match.
Oxford has a great location in the city beside Bugis and 2 minutes walk from the nearest MRT station. The room was basic and clean and the hotel fit for a weekend or business stopover where simply a bed will do. For the location, no frills and price this is a good option.

strong aircon. warm shower. close proximity to MRT station. clean dry sheets. the roof doesn't leak.... look guys, this is a beer budget hotel in champagne town. you get what you pay for. but you DO get your money's worth.

Chinese Hotel, very noise, the dors had a 3 cm gab in the buttom so it was very noise and not very private. It was old and smelly and you had to pay for wifi. The breakfast was really bad old fish fried different ways.

Room was small , doesn't seems like 21m2 ... looks more like 13m2. Staff refuse to change room, despite telling them the television is at the side of the bed, have to turn our head to watch. Hotel looks rundown.

Good location poor quality
Pros: great location, subway station one minute away, a walk away from many turistic attractions. Cons: very dirty, very old, smells bad, many things were broken and almost no wifi in the room, when I asked about the wifi signal the staff response was " try leaving the door open to use the wifi"... just unbelievable. I will never return to this hotel nor recommend to anyone.

Great central location for a family on a budget.
We were only in Singapore for one night and a day, and needed somewhere close to attractions, but also comfortable for a good night's rest, with an ensuite and free wifi. The Oxford Hotel ticked these boxes, and was within our price range.

Very Good location to budget.
Good location. Near meseum, 2 min to MRT, 10 walk to Raffles place. Tiny room suitable for just sleep and go. Cannot turn off the light in the room that make me difficulty fall sleep allnight.

Perfect for us
We stayed at this hotel due to the location of the transport services (within 1 minute walk). The hotel was within 15 minutes of the F1 track, which is why we were in Singapore.

Not a good hotel,Very Old and over run ,dirty floor,carpet needs replacing,.We checked in later in evening,one bed broken feet on one side(on angle)left note following day-Nothing Done.Very Noisy Kids runing aroung late at night.We were only there for 3 nights,ever stay there again .

Unsatisfatory experience
There are no windows in the room. The environment outside the room is noisy and I am annoyed (totally unsatisfied) with it. Everything needs to be charged (no slipper, no refrigerator, etc.). I told the reception to arrange a morning call but it didn't happen (I was very angry as it delayed my trip). I am not sure whether the service ties with the price.

I used the hotel to see my university graduates in Malaysia. The location is good to see Raffles Hotel and near to Marina Bay Sands. I spent very nice time in Singapore. Thank you.

Only for low budget travellers
Staff was pleasant but... Wi Fi system kept going down, the power to the ENTIRE hotel went out for 7 hours, one of two elevators broke down, the room had no window and no refrigerator, the shower leaked out onto the bathroom floor, the TV only had 4 working channels none of which were international English like CNN or BBC, etc., the ice machine on the floor did not work, the toilet did not flush well, no bottled water was provided by the hotel and none was available from the vending machine on the floor

Close to all amenities. Easy transport.
All good. Centrally located to all facilities. Next to public transportation. The bathroom requires attention. The bed was clean and comfortable. Bottle water could be supplied. TV had bad reception. Overall its was good.

The front office staffs is friendly. Only problem is the hair dryer in the toilet is broken and not fix. Price will be reasonable if is under Sin $100 for a 3 star hotel.

hotel close to places I wanted 2 go
Beautiful and friendly staff, only a couple of issues. A leaking toilet which was promptly fixed within a day and door frame of bathroom broken but overall nice room. Could do with a fridge in room.

Very Tired Old Lady Waiting to Pass Away
This hotel is old and shabby. Even tho prices in Singapore are high this hotel is still expensive for what you get. Rooms are small and no fridge. It is well located to the underground train system tho. Food is pretty average. No house bar.
