한마디로 호텔이 아니라 공사장속에 위치한 임시숙소라 하는것이 정확한 표현일것 입니다. 귀사(Expedia)에서도 고객들에게 호텔을 소개하려면 사전에 귀사의 고객이 귀사에서 소개한 호텔에 투숙하여 고통을 겪는일이 없도록 충분한 조사와 상황파악이 된후 소개하여야 할것 입니다. 10일간의 투숙기간은 매일진행되는 공사장 소음과 우리가 머문객실 바로앞에서 진행된 아스팔트 펠트 방수공사에서 나오는 악취로 인하여 10일동안 방문과 창문을 꼭꼭 닽고 지내야 하는 지옥같은 시간의 연속 이었습니다. 한국에서 세인트 마틴까지 무려 20시간 가까이 비행하여 도착한 호텔에서 10일간 방문 창문을 열지 못하고 지낼수 밖에없는 고통을 상상이나 해보셨나요?

Purchased the deluxe junior suite and did not receive it. There was a large convention on the property and I had asked to change our room twice and was turned down both times, due to the meeting even though I had paid for the room. I was very disappointed as it was our honeymoon

We had an awesome stay here. We stayed on the adult side, food was good, drinks were awesome, music was always good. Basically I have nothing negative to say. There’s also a ton to do around the resort

Great dining, especially for dinner..be sure to visit Azul, best meal we had! All the pools were great, just wish the adults side had a more lively environment at any of the pools, they barely had music. Our room was pretty basic, but did the trick...loved the balcony view though!

It is a beautiful resort located on a cliff. The beach was very small. It was shared with another resort and a public beach. There was a larger beautiful beach within a 15 minute walk. It was unique in that it was right next to the airport, so a little noisy and yet amazing to see the planes so close. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good. We were happy we were in the Adult only area because we had more pools, restaurant choices and not as crowded. I enjoyed two massages at their spa. The spa was wonderful, clean and a lot of different services. There was a small shopping area right next door. It is a beautiful island. We had a wonderful relaxing vacation.

Everything was great except the phone in t the room was broken for the entire stay so no 24hr room service which came with the room was ever available and resilted in many trips to front desk

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We are use to the big name resorts so we were a bit worried that it would not meet our expectations but we had fun. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they are such nice people. The staff service was defiantly very good. The room was acceptable. The room can defiantly use some updates. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We had a swim out room which we used more than we thought. The all inclusive was worth it for us. The drink selection at the bar is decent but if you ask for better bottle they might have it. They had the good stuff under the cabinet. The restaurant selection was good. Azul restaurant was our favorite. Food room service was better that we thought. You can also order room service from the restaurants that are available which we enjoyed some nights. Its a bit on the quiet side which we are not used to, but we did appreciate. Because its not so crowded the service was better and faster than you would receive at a large resorts. So in conclusion we had fun and enjoyed our time at the hotel. Its unique and have to enjoy it for what it is.

As far as all inclusive’s go the property is beautiful and well maintained. Good location , however this was a daily sewer odor walking down the way to the hotel The food was good for breakfast , the hamburgers were terrible and we ate dinner out most evenings ! Azul was by far the best restaurant and location. Would consider going back again but not in a rush

They would not recognize our Expedia inline reservation as their reservation person went home before the Expedia ‘drop’. Made me wait 2 hours in the lobby until they agreed to rent 2 other rooms for full price on reserve credit card until next day when they finally figured out that they had received the Expedia reservation. Needlessly confusing and disappointing after a stressful day including a flight cancellation.

This is tough, but I know how much I read reviews when choosing a hotel so I want to give as much perspective as possible. #1 advice is pay the extra for a Rooftop butler suite! You will be more likely to have a positive experience. This should not be listed as a VIP access property, as the front desk staff, who I’ll just say was less than friendly, had no idea what we were talking about when we checked in. There were no perks! No early check in, no late check out, no upgrades! Not like any other VIP access hotel I’ve been to. The location for us was great, we love being near the airport, but IF you want silence, this is not the hotel for you. The food, especially for an all inclusive was surprisingly good! Azul had the best burgers and great service, like Juliette! She was great! Butlers Alex and Yannick were kind to, we didn’t really ask for much, but the little we did ask for was done and kindly. Now here is the downside… We did not personally experience this, but SEVERAL people who were staying at the same time did not have air condition in their rooms! They also reported dirty rooms, even found blood on supposedly cleaned sheets! The facility could use some upgrading. Front desk staff could use some coaching on being warm and welcoming. Hope this is helpful! We did love the location, OUR room was good, and food with premium alcohol was also a plus!

The swim up room was ok, but the water was cold. It wasnt very private from the next door neighbors or everyone walking by. We asked for the room to be decorated for our anniversary and it wasnt. The hotel staff was all very friendly and great. I dont know if the additional cost per night for the adults only is worth the extra 3 choices of restaurant's versus the standard Casino all inclusive stay restaurant's.

I recommend this hotel. The property is appealing. Our room was great and the food was delicious. The hotel is in a location where you can easily walk to stores. If you enjoy seeing planes land and take off, you can watch that from the beach by the hotel. The beach is conveniently right at the hotel.

This property is definitely not 5 star quality. It felt more like a 3-3.5 star. The food was subpar and beverages were watered down/sweet. Azul was the best restaurant on the property everything else was meh. No authentic food, more American/European style dishes were offered. Burgers sucked. Don’t eat at village tavern it was awful and people doing karaoke was equally awful, unless you’re drunk. We were really disappointed with the quality of what we got for the price we paid. This resort is ok if you’re looking for a place to drink and dine with an all inclusive package but it felt restrictive as most things closed early. The pools closed by 5-6pm. The gym closed at 8pm. Restaurants closed at 10pm except a couple that weren’t good. Room service is available but the menu is limited. Their jerk chicken pizza tasted like salt and bottled jerk sauce nothing about the food was authentic or enjoyable. Beach access is weird although you can access the public beach next door, it isn’t part of the resort. The staff were nice for the most part and tried to help when we encountered some issues with our room. They also have a bug issue at the resort we saw water bugs and a ton of mosquitoes which was off putting as we’ve stayed at 5 star resorts before where we never saw any bugs. We even put a towel across the door to prevent any from getting into the room. I wish we had a better stay here as we really enjoy the Sonesta in Fort Lauderdale but this one really wasn’t great.

This facility and adjoining family section not overly nice. Norovirus spread through there and no surprise as did not find it clean.

I enjoyed my stay at the Sonesta, the staff was very helpful and attentive, i was drinking cocktails at every bar, and they made them well. Was close to things to do around, i really enjoyed it, dont believe when people give bad reviews, have your own experience.

Frat house
The staff were miserable so bad I was actually worried for them. The front desk immediately when I got there was so rude to me that she almost made me cry and I looked for another hotel but couldn’t find one immediately. I can not stress enough how rude both women at the front desk were. It’s supposed to be adults only but there were tons of kids bc it shares a lot of stuff with the kids section next to it. It is all inclusive so it was kind of a party frat house. Not like a relaxing place at all but good if your just there to drink your face off by the pool and not worry about a tab. I got the jr suite but I was so glad I didn’t pick the swim up rooms bc the swim up part was very dirty. I was surprised people were sitting in it. The bed was uncomfortable. Don’t try to park a rental car at the hotel. They are very mean in the garage and it’s $16 a day. The thing that was AWESOME about it was the room service! It was the fastest room service I’ve ever seen even at the nicest hotels. It was open pretty much 24/7 and the staff for room service were amazing.

i love the property & will always consider going back .. the food was great even in the buffet. The area around the resort is amazing . you get to experience the maho beach with the flying planes over you .

First time in St Maarten and I decide to stay here because of the convenience ex. Airport, walking distance to store, bar, lounge etc. First I want to start off by entering the resort. I wasn't greeted or direct to where I needed to go, The female staff are very rude and facial impression seem like they smelling feces. The room are very small and not worth the money that was charged, the swim up pool is very deep and there no caution sign or no sign telling you how deep it is. My refrigerator wasn't working for 3 days I complain over and over until they send a new one. The AC isn't working properly in the room. the only two things that was nice is Auzl restaurant and the view. oh I can't forget Simone was the only bartender that make excellent drinks. The worse experience I need some money back
