This property was closed and “no longer a Motel 6” when I arrived. I received no notice and had to rebook at the last minute at great expense.

When I got there for my "guaranteed" reservation, the door to the lobby was locked & no one was there. When I called the # posted for a contact the woman informed me that the motel had been sold a week ago & the former owner manager was supposed to notify all who had a reservation. No one had notified ME. I had to spend the night sleeping in my pickup. You should let Tom Boudette know that he should do more than just "leave the light on for ya". It WAS on, but there was no access to the office nor the room I had guaranteed on my credit card. I am extremely dissatisfied with Motel 6, & I will never stay in one until I have received the at least an apology from your corperate hq. H.G. Carey

This location is no longer a Motel 6. It is only renting for monthly rentals. Imagine my surprise to learn this when we pulled up after an 8 hour drive with 2 kids in the car to learn we have no place to stay!

When we arrived, there was a note on the door that they had closed and had turned into short term housing. No warning. No nothing. We were left scrambling for a hotel room in a city was already over booked.

Turned Away - Lied to and Cheated
I reserved the room on May 28 and paid for it on that day for $155.78. My daughter was turned away. She had the confirmation number and printed paperwork. They said they do not do this anymore. I don't know who is at fault. It might be them but it might be Hotels.com or Expedia who owns them. They drove over 200 miles to be turned away. I was able to book a different hotel but at a higher price. When I called Hotels.com they hung up on me. They at least owe me a refund! I am still trying to resolve this.

It's not even a Motel 6 anymore. Hotels.com let you book it even though it doesn't exist. Don't book this place.

We saw check in was at 3 we arrived at the property at 345. She checked us in, gave us a room key and told us to wait a half hr because the maid had not cleaned the room yet. We waiting and due to the type of property we could see our door from the parking lot. The maid proceeded to smoke in front of the open room door and blow the smoke into our room(it’s a non smoking property) so I took a video cuz I was not getting an extra charge for smoke smell in our room. She finally finished cleaning over an hr after we checked in. We walked into the room at 5. The room was the worst I have ever been in. Dirt, hair, what looked like dog poop on the floor. Toilet was dirty. Hair and possibly mold on the shower wall. The towel rack was on the floor by the toilet, completely ripped off the wall. Looked like food on the wall by the microwave. Bedding was covered in stains and honestly didn’t look like it had been changed. After taking pictures I walked straight to the front desk and checked out. The grossest thing I have ever seen in my life.

I ended up leaving this property and abandoning my stay altogether. If you're passing through, this is not a safe place to stay. It's also very dirty. My room smelled of smoke. There were holes in the sheets. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Very dangerous.

I didn’t get to my room until 2 am. I pulled down the bedspread and the sheets were stained, moldy, and had bugs. The desk clerk said he would bring new sheets. He didn’t offer to change the sheets. I had to. After the 2nd set of sheets were buggy as well, I left. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Property was VERY rundown. Bathrooms looked like they had not been cleaned ever. Our door looked like someone had took an ax to the outside and then very poorly tried to repair it. I asked for the bathroom to be cleaned the lady huffed and called someone on the walkie to clean it. When we came back they had only dumped the trash.

This place was disgusting, filthy, dirty, smelled. The bedding was threadbare. The floor was sticky. I can't believe Expedia has this on their site.

Disappointed
This Motel 6 was a disappointment. The room was nothing like the pictures. All I can say is that if I wasn't tired after a 16 hour drive, I would have looked for another place to stay. Very disappointed.

First room offered had only 1 double bed (I had booked a 2 bed room). Ended up with a king instead. A/C was very loud, making it hard to sleep. Many broken tiles on the floor, sheets had stains, bedspread had burns on it & the floor was grimy. I would not recommend this hotel.

After ringing the bell, we waited 15 minutes before we called so we could check in. Upon opening the door, we were smacked in the face with a strong smoke odor in the “non-smoking” room. Cigarette butts littered the outside. There was no roll in the toilet paper dispenser. The grounded outlet in the bathroom was cracked and didn’t work. The mat inside the door was dirty and frayed. One washcloth had a dirty handprint on it. There was an ice bucket but no cups. This is obviously a neglected property and Motel 6 doesn’t care that is in such a state of disrepair. Travelocity really should pull this location from its website.

The lobby smelled like smoke when I checked in. The room looked like it had been "upgraded" from the cheap motel it likely used to be. What's that saying about slapping lipstick on a pig? I didn't feel safe and I worried about my vehicle safety. Cops were in the parking lot within 10 minutes of check-in. The door to the room didn't start closed/seal properly allowing air and noise in. The room was not very clean and literally had two bars of soap for toiletries. No microwave or mini fridge Just don't stay here. It's not worth it. For not that much more you could have a safe, clean room down the road.

Well. It was cheap. That's about the best I can say about it. Suuuuper sketchy area. The lock on the door didn't seem like it was going to do too much. Room was ok but smelled funky. If you can spare the extra money...stay somewhere else.

The first room had clearly not been cleaned in months. The walls, doors, furniture, shower, sheets, and especially the toilet were covered in filth. I took my concern to the front desk, and the kind lady apologized and offered up another room. The next room was almost as dirty and the air conditioner was broken (95* day). The front desk person gave me a refund and I stayed in my truck. She was very apologetic and professional, the only bright spot in this experience. I chose to sleep in my pickup instead of a room here. That should tell you everything you need to know.

Only the basic necessities
The room really just had the basic essentials. Check in was fine and the people at the front desk were nice and helpful, no problem with the staff. But the room had no microwave (although there is one in the lobby), no fridge, even the toilet didn’t have a lid, and no shower mat. One bed had a big red/brown stain on the comforter and the other had cigarette burns in it. The AC unit was really busted up but did work. The most annoying thing personally was that the door had a huge gap between it and the wall, where you could see the sunlight coming in and could hear what was happening in the parking lot like you were outside. Would not recommend staying here unless you have no other choice, the only plus side was that the staff was very helpful and friendly.
