The rooms are not that good as on the picture. The mini bar was completely empty, also there is no kettle or even cups... or anything to make a tea or coffee. My room viewing was on rear side , where also have a building work and was very noise. On my booking shows like breakfast is included , but on the reception, staff say 'it's not". ... I'll not visit again that hotel !

Only the door of my room has to be changed because I was afraid to be locked in or out of my room and the door knob is going to fell of. Every other detail of the room or the hotel was just fine I stayed just one night, so.

No AC, poorly maintained.
AC doesn't work at all. Uncomfortable stay as a result. The shower is falling apart with tiles literally moving on the walls with huge gapping cracks.

Redelijk tot goed hotel, geen vier sterren waard.
Verblijf in Festa is oké, minder tevreden over de kwaliteit van het ontbijt. Te beperkt wat betreft de broodjes en niet alles vers b.v warm eitje is lekker maar niet een ei dat er vanaf zeven uur al ligt. Hotel kamer had gebreken in de badkamer, bij receptie gemeld,werd binnen uur opgelost. Bij aankomst slechts 1 paar handdoeken op de kamer terwijl het een tweepersoons kamer betrof

Very happy with my stay at Hotel Festa! The rooms were ok, but my room didn't get clean one time even though the tag was left on the door knob. Very pleased with one of the reception guys Velizar - he is very nice, friendly and provides an exceptional customer service! Special thanks to him!

This hotel is great and I'm staying there a few times a year. It's very modern and clean and location near the mountain is simpy amazing. Breakfast is good too.

Festa is my usual choice for hotel in Sofia. I love the view over Vitosha mountain and the hotel's location. Each morning they serve a buffet breakfast which has a lot of options. Rooms are modern and comfortable.

In general I would recommend the hotel due to the good balance between price/quality. Though, there are some small things which could be improved like: the mattress of the bed needs to be replaces, as half of it wasn't very comfortable due to heavy usage; the bathtube needs some maintenance, as when you have a shower lots of water flows down on the floor; there were towels for 1 person only, although the booking was for 2 people.

Most staff were only good for Bates Hotel. I spent five LONG days cooped up with the rude, unhelpful lot, there was only one decent guy and girl on reception, the others wouldn't get a job sweeping floors in an English one.

Bad reception
Cannot believe how rude the reception was.. they lost my booking and Expedia confirmed they sent it. The hotel must practice how to be rude and they should get a gold medal for it

Hotel an der Umgehungsstraße
Wenn nachts um drei vom Dach der Baustelle nebenan Bauholz geworfen wird - dann bist Du in Sofia! Auch tagsüber ist immer Baulärm zu hören. Sofia ist eben eine wachsende Stadt. Der Service im Hotel ist überaus freundlich. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist reichhaltig. Das Hotel liegt nicht in der Nähe einer U-Bahn-Station. Der Yuzhen Park ist allerdings in 20 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Auf dem Weg gibt es Lebensmittelläden, Bulgarische Imbissbuden und (mindestens ein) Restaurant.

Very convenient hotel to Sofia city.
Decent and professional looking hotel. Stay was pleasant. Air-conditioner could have been better. Room walls cold have better sound insulation. Restaurant was old-fashioned with long table clothes that almost tripped me. Very well connected to Sofia city centre by tram line and buses. Taxi is cheap as well. Nearby to Bulgaria Mall.

My stay in Festa
I liked this hotel very much and it was nice to see beutiful mountain from the big window. Bath is plus also. The area has everything I needed, shopping mall, movie theathers, bank downstairs to change money and this lovely mountain for trekking <3 I liked the breakfast too!

Stay in Festa hotel
Very nice stay! Only when I arrived they couldn't see my booking (maybe problems in communication between hotels.com and the hotel, they didn't receive the booking) in the end it wasn't a problem at all and I got room exactly as I wished. I even continued my stay 1 night longer! I would stay again here. Very nice and polite manager was helpful and friendly! I recommend this hotel :)

Not that bad, but noisy
Overall the hotel is ok, however it can be quite noisy due to some music in the hallways that you can hear inside the room. When I complained I was told that there is a hotel-wide sounding system with loudspeakers on every single floor that they cannot switch off completely (unless they want to). There is nothing wrong with the music per se, unless you are a hard-core dedicated Eros Ramazzotti fan as they play only one record all day long:) At times, it can be quite loud so bear in mind if you book the hotel for business and need to work during the day!

Sofia - Bra business hotell
Läget var smidigt med tanke på mitt besök, annars är det långt från centrum och restauranger. Det var otroligt varmt på rummet, ca 26grader och gick inte att köra med AC för centralvärmen var på för hela hotellet. Gratis wifi var bra och bra hastighet på det. Fanns ett gym, som var helt ok. Även frukost var ok. Hotellet var lite slitet men nog varit rätt fint när det var nytt. Personalen var trevlig, hjälpte mig med boka flygtransfer osv. Ett bra hotell för business resor!

Good hotel, good food, clean
Nice room with a good shower and all the facilities you would expect when staying on business. Room cleaned daily and the restaurant served very good food for a very reasonable cost. Good breakfast, however the only downside is having to collect a 1 day wifi pass every day. The area is not great, however I selected this for its location (close to the office I am working in) so that was not a problem for me
