bad shower. water all over the bath cause of a hole. Loud music early morning 7:00am strong bass from the pool, waking you up. Just because of the noise i will not return.

De använde en massa parfym i rummen och i receptionen som skapade allergiska reaktioner. Det var hemskt och tyvärr drog ner helhetsintrycket. Mycket bra service, fina stora rum men lite tråkigt område.

Good value, good facilities
We stayed 2 nights in early November as part of a quick tour. The hotel room was large and well-equipped and the free on-site parking was brilliant. The heating in the room seemed a bit hit and miss and we thought there was a hint of fumes - but nothing major. Breakfast was a bit ordinary with terrible coffee but the coffee machine in the room was much superior. Location is a rather drab 10 minutes walk or so to the tourist areas but there is a metro station close by which we preferred. Overall a good option.

Mycket fint hotel till billig peng. Bra frukost, dock kunde de inte fixa laktosfritt. Ligger bara en bit från centrum så det gick bra att promenera. Nära till de flesta sevärdheter. Bra och trevlig personal.De var mycket hjälpsamma.

Great art gallery hotel
A very good and unique art gallery hotel, with a lot of original pictures and sculptures all around. Very good location - 2 minutes walking from "Serdika" metro station and few minutes from Tramvai 20' and 22' stations. Large, very nice, clean and comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast with great service. Exceptional good restaurant on the 5 floor. The staff is eager to help... Delightful experience...

We are bound to be a bit biased in favour of this hotel as we were given an upgrade from a room to a suite. We are not at all used to this much luxury but could get used to it given enough time. We stayed at four hotels during our holiday in Bulgaria and this was definitely the best.

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel ist sehr angenehem, da sowohl Service, Lage (5 Minuten zu Fuß bis zur Haupteinkaufsstrasse von Sofia), Frühstück (Buffet von Käse, Wurst, warmen gerichten, Keksen und Obst), Fitness- und Spabereich top sind. Auch das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut.

Great value for money
We stayed at the Hotel Anel for three nights during a weekend getaway. Have to say that rooms look even better than on the pictures. Very clean huge room and polite staff. For a central location the hotel is incredibly quiet. We had such a good sleep all three nights we missed the breakfast. Good location everything is in the walking distance.

Good location,nice staff & excellent quality hote.
Stayed here before our flight home to London on August 7th. Originally passed the hotel as hotel sign is not that clear and there's limited parking space outside . However the welcome and service at reception was professional and attentative. Our family suite was fabulous with a large separate bedroom and comfortable double sofa bed. There were 2tvs desk and lovely bathroom. Not a fan of Bath showers in rooms this size as water goes everywhere, but it was a bathroom worthy of a 5 star suite. Wish we'd had more time to use the spa facilities and the roof top restaurant looked fabulous and reasonably priced.this was the same for the in room drinks which are a total rip off in most hotels. The hotel is a good location for the main Vitosha boulevard and is a 10 minute walk,with another modern shopping mall close by. Access to the sofia metro is 5 minutes away on the main road. This was the only fault As there was some road noise from traffic, but slept well. Will defiantly return to this hotel but intend staying for longer next time.

Great staff, cool location, but not quite a 5 star
We loved the place. The location was perfect for walking to the major points of the city, the plentiful art throughout the hotel and breakfast room was gorgeous, and the staff were super attentive when we had questions or requests. There were only a few minor issues such as no toilet paper in the room when we arrived and the room service missed out on cleaning a cup.

Двуспальное ложе из двух половинок.
Отель расположен рядом с центром. Если не хочется ходить пешком, станция метро в 2-х минутах. Персонал очень вежливый и приветливый. Завтраки просто супер! Отель ошарашивает изобилием картин и скульптурных композиций:-)). Наш номер был просторный. Порадовала отделка номера: много дерева, красивое изголовье кровати, хорошая подсветка. В ванной комнате были халаты и тапочки. В номере можно было выпить чаю и кофе. Интернет в номере работал отлично. Есть большой сейф. Единственный недостаток: огромная двуспальная кровать, на которую мы и рассчитывали, на самом деле состояла из двух полутороспальных кроватей, разъезжавшихся в самые интересные моменты. Мелкие недочеты, которые мы обнаружили при въезде (перезагрузка роутера и сейфа) были устранены моментально!

Hotel a 5 stelle che le valeva tutte Stanza da 40 ma con tutti i confort (Wi-Fi privato in ogni camera !!!) Siamo rimasti una sola notte quindi non abbiamo potuto provare la piscina e il centro benessere Il centro si raggiunge con una passeggiata di 10 minuti Da tornarci se soggiorneremo ancora a Sofia

Very nice hotel
I have stayed in many of Sofia's 4-5 star hotels and this one is just as nice as any of them. I would put it on par with Grand Hotel Sofia which is generally more expensive. The downside to this hotel is that it is a little further west than most of the big hotels, meaning you have to get through the city in order to reach the airport or many other attractions. This is only a problem during rush hour for the most part. Sans traffic, it is still a quick drive to the airport from this hotel. This hotel is walking distance from one of the nicest parts of town to take a stroll through (down Vitoshka).

Good rooms and staff. Need to think about guests.
Reception staff were great and so was bar staff. Rooms were nice and large and clean. Only issue was no ironing facilities ie: iron and board. Asked on saturday for loan of iron and nothing available and was sent in direction of linen cleaning staff. For 20 lev they would iron my short. Was my only option so agreed only to be told 'sorry the staff for that had gone home'. This was 7pm on a saturday night in a 4/5* hotel in central sofia in 2015? Quite ridiculous that there was not an iron to loan. Breakfast was ok but again staff were great. Overall a good value hotel in a good location. Just wish the hotel recognised a customer needs without trying to make more money out of them. A 10 euro iron in that hotel would of made all the difference as proved they are thinming about their guests.

Central hotel ideal for a buisness trip
Room was huge and very quiet. There is a lot of art in the hotel paintings statues etc mostly modern and not sure if it is for sales. Definitely different from the standard hotels

Not a five star hotel. Avoid
Have stayed in many hotels around the world including in Sofia. This is not a five star hotel. The lobby is a three start hotel at most. 2 stars in most areas. The room a 3 star at most. Gym equipment faulty and not maintained. Not allowed in swimming pool unless you buy a swimming cap. Corridors stunk severely. Rooms stunk of cigars and smoking. Very cheap furniture throughout hotel. Rooms highly dated and stale. Worst thing is that they do not have double sheets on the hotel beds. You have to sleep with a single bed sheet meaning if you are travelling with a partner, you will not be able to snuggle up. The single bed sheet was so small you couldn't wrap up you feet properly. Caught a cold because room heating was not calibrated properly. Area is really bad. We had to check out early and go to a real five star hotel as this hotel was spoiling our holiday. Staff a little aggressive. Really sad experience. Breakfast very poor for a buffet. Not as described. Staff not accommodating. Wifi kept cutting out. Maid took money off our table whilst we were in the room. The rates of this hotel need to drop significantly to that of a three star hotel.

3 star in middle of nowhere
While the hotel was nice the area is quite a walk from the city sights. Being Easter not a lot was open so we ate at the hotel restaurant which was great and convenient for us. However much of the facilities closed early due to being under staffed we did not get to use the pool & spa area. The staff at reception were unable to help us book tickets or provide much knowledge about Sophia itself but were nice enough.

Άριστο ξενοδοχείο, σε άριστη τοποθεσία
Το ξενοδοχείο ήταν σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, μόλις 700 μέτρα από το κέντρο της πόλης και με το δεδομένο ότι διαθέτει φυλασσόμενο επί 24ωρου βάσεως πάρκινγκ, όλη η μετακίνηση γίνεται με τα πόδια και το αυτοκίνητο βρίσκεται στο πάρκινγκ. Τα δωμάτια πολύ μεγάλα και καθαρά. Διαθέτουν δωρεάν καφές ή τσάι εντός του δωματίου, αφού υπήρχε βραστήρας. Το μόνο αρνητικό, ήταν ότι οι δεσποινίδες της ρεσεψιόν δεν ήταν ιδιαίτερα εξυπηρετικές σε ότι αφορά το να κατευθύνουν τον επισκέπτη στην περιήγηση του στην πόλη. Αντίθετα οι γκρουμ τις αντικαθιστούσαν σε αυτή τους την υπηρεσία. Γενικά θα το πρότεινα σε ένα ταξίδι στη Σόφια

Comfortable, friendly and clean.
Overall rooms are really "king size", very comfortable and even more clean. Staff was very polite & friendly, always willing to help you in any of your requests. I really enjoyed my stay there. Places to improve : 1.Breakfast area is rather small (for 57 rooms), as breakfast hour is only from 07:00-10:00, so after 09:00 o'clock, the lounge is almost fully and you might have to wait a little bit for any free table (there are only 15-16 tables just for 57 rooms in total). What I recommend is to expand breakfast (limit) time from 10:00 to 10:30 or 11:00 2.When aqua aerobics sessions are taking place in Spa area, the music is so loud that you can hear it even on the 2nd floor, so no chance to rest in your room

Großzügige Zimmer
Die Zimmer sind der Wahnsinn mit 35m². Echt gemütlich hergerichtet und von der Lage noch sehr gut am Rande der inneren Stadt. Frühstück auch sehr gut und lecker. Uns hat das Hotel sehr gut gefallen und es war ein echter Renner im Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Kann man wirklich gut empfehlen.

Hotel is beautiful and the staff are wonderful, but the bathroom could do with a detailed clean.
