Excellent accommodation and value for money, with super mattress and pillows, welcome balcony, great breakfast, warm staff, and two minutes walk to the metro. I returned for another stay 10 days later.

Lovely hotel in a very quiet street; staff all friendly and helpful when it came to asking directions. Very clean in all areas. Room 203 very spacious with a small balcony area, and the beds are comfortable. Small supply of toiletries which unusually didn't include a shower cap. Breakfast was ok although for myself being lactose intolerant and intolerant to processed meats etc. it was challenging, however the bread was very nice.

What a great stay we had at The St George’s hotel . Staff were very helpful and friendly , location was perfect ! Metro a minute away , in walking distance to almost everything. Our room was clean and comfortable and having the balcony was great to sit and relax after a busy day as the hotel was remarkably quiet . Breakfast was OK, we would have like more healthy vegan options but not a major issues as so many trendy little cafes and places gor good coffee in the city . Thanks so much to all the staff we had a great stay and loved Sofia !

Despite the old fashion name, its asmall modern hotel two blocks away from the shopping street. A nice place to stay and provides a good buffet breakfast.

This hotel has super-friendly staff. It is a very quick walk to the main shopping street, and the metro station. Unfortunately, the door to my balcony didn't work, and they said they could not reduce my room charge to the price of a room without a balcony. Sofia is wonderful, and although the balcony door didn't work, the staff made up for it...I'd stay here again. Good breakfast, also construction going on in middle floors.

Nice hotel
Hotel is central, close to Vitosha bulevard. It is newly renovated. Problems are that the shower did not work and all channels on the TV are Bulgarian. Even Euronews are dubbed in Bulgaria.

A perfect place in the top-center of Sofia!
I thought this hotel was excellent. Not only is it a great choice due to its prime, top-center location, but the room was wonderfully equipped and incredibly spacious.I also had a balcony which was comfortable and relaxing. The included breakfast was delicious, with the classic European favorites supplemented with cereals and sweet treats. I liked this hotel so much that I have already booked my next stay!

Great location for exploring Sofia. Easy walking distance of all the main tourist attractions and very close to Metro station. Rooms are dated but clean and have aircon and balcony which was welcome on hot days! Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but well prepared. Only downside was we asked for a second saucepan for our room (an apartment with small kitchen) and they couldn't find one. Otherwise all very good and recommended for cost effective visit to a fascinating and different city!

The issue with this room was the Bed. The bed was really soft, so I did not rest properly. The room had a small terrace wich is awesome, but the bed killed my experience.
