The dried, but fairly fresh blood smear on inside of bathroom door jam is a biohazard and disgusting. No reason housekeeping couldn't see that. The floor may get swept, but clearly never mopped. The sink wasn't properly cleaned. I didn't have a blanket, only sheet and bed spread. Outside had so many men loitering about, I felt unsafe as a single woman, going out to my car for my luggage. Unfortunately, this is typical of any motel6 I've ever stayed in. And despite the fact I have had to leave poor reviews before for other motel6, I never hear back nor get coupons for discounts on future stays. Even when I let the front desk know about problems at check out, I'm never compensated for paying for a filthy room to stay in. I'm assuming they are all independently owned and operated, hence the lack of response. But I'm definitely being taken advantage of by charging me for rooms that aren't clean, that don't have proper bedding, and don't provide security to keep the campus safe for the other patrons.
