Overall we enjoyed our stay - the room was quite small and beds were uncomfortable. The view from the room was spectacular. The breakfast, showers and pool were great. The location was very convenient with a bus stop out front, a convenience store across the street and a small cafe next door.

We got placed in this hotel last minute after our other hotel cancelled on the day - so just to be clear we didn’t choose this hotel. The location is good - €1.70 bus right outside the door takes you to the centre of town and back and is easy to use. Also it is right near a fantastic swimming hole you can walk to and a great panini shop and mini mart. The staff were nice and the place was clean. However we did have a few issues with the room. The water pressure was either so high the drain couldn’t drain it fast enough or zero. The towels were very stiff and scratchy. The air conditioning was useless. The whole hotel also gave a vibe of a retirement home. Wouldn’t stay again.

Hotel Villa Igea was the perfect stay for such a perfect holiday. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel was perfect for a nice quiet stay. Although slightly out of town the hotel offered a free shuttle to get you into the centre of Sorrento which was ideal. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough for location and comfort.

Nice place little far out and up a steep incline so could use more shuttles however there are local buses which stop directly in front of the hotel. No kettle in room but very spacious

Property was nice, older. The room had a great view. The bed was hard and the shower was small. It would have been nice if the shuttle bus ran till at least 11 instead of nine. Had to take public transport every night

L'albergo non era male. L'unica cosa era la presenza di formiche nella sala per colazione. Purtroppo erano sul muro e vicino il cibo. Per il resto, la posizione del hotel era perfetto e vicino tutto. Staff cordiale.

Hotel sconsigliatissimo!
Esperienza totalmente deludente, personale poco disponibile e qualificato. Abbiamo chiesto di restare in piscina un ora oltre il checkout e ci hanno risposto di andare al mare negando totalmente la nostra semplice richiesta nonostante avessero una piscina vuota e tralasciando il prezzo alto per una sola notte, quindi usufruendo l’hotel solo per dormire in una stanza fatiscente senza frigorifero, crepe sui muri e bagno da ristrutturare (doccia in pessime condizioni). Sconsiglio vivamente di soggiornare da loro

Great hotel for price
Great hotel with shuttle bus service to Sorrento and friendly helpful staff. Has everything you need. Nice pool. Breakfast is basic but an added bonus. Good deli across the road for cheap paninis! Short but steep walk to the sea and a beautiful restaurant.

Beautiful, Relaxing, Pool and Shuttle!
Loved my stay here--the friendly service put it over the top. It's not right on the plaza but it doesn't matter because they run a shuttle from the hotel to the plaza regularly. Also, if you do any tours, they will all pick up at the hotel. The bus stop is also right out front. Hotel is lovely and the room are very comfortable. You can walk to some Roman ruins and a beautiful ocean fed swimming pool with arch. The restaurant has fantastic food and the drinks. We had a perfect stay. Everyone was so helpful from helping us with finding things to do to restaurants.

Soggiorno abbastanza normale, camera sufficiente con un bel balconcino e comodo bagno. Molto buona la colazione, cena più o meno nella media. Poche sdraio e lettini a bordo piscina. Alla fine del soggiorno ci è stato negato di poterci trattenere un'ora in piscina.

Desperate need of a refurb and quite a way out of town. Very basic accommodation - you have to contact reception to turn on the ac rather than have control in your room. Bedrooms are shabby, lots of noise from shared drains so every time someone in another room flushes the loo you are woken which as you can imagine is all night long. Breakfast is dreadful - I love a buffet breakfast and this was the worst I have ever had. Wouldn't stay again

Mukava hotelli. Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Sijainti hieman liian kaukana keskustasta. Paikallisbussit eivät kulje myöhään iltaisin. Hotelli järjestää kuljetuksen, mutta se ei toiminut aivan moitteettomasti. Aamupala erittäin italialainen.

Room stank!!!
The room was cramped and stank so much that i almost threw up! The buffet breakfast had flies trapped inside the cover of the food. The so called shuttle service stop was impossible to find in the township and was simply nowhere near to where the staff actually described. Another guest at the hotel had the same complaint when we met them. Will certainly not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Hotel fica afastado do centro de Sorrento e há um estacionamento próximo (com custo de 10 euros a diária). Com o ônibus local é fácil chegar ao centro da cidade e ao Porto, de onde saem diariamente barcos para Capri. O café da manhã é simples, mas bom. O quarto é simples. O funcionário da portaria é solicito.

Beautiful view of the bay
Lovely hotel. Nice pool to chill after a big day. 20 minutes walk from the end of Sorrento on the road. Busses are very confusing. Line A takes to villa Igea you have to pre purchase the ticket for this and the colour of the bus is yellow. There is a small bus that takes you to the port you buy the ticket on the bus at the intersection opposite the hotel.

Sorrento är en otroligt vacker stad!! Hotellet låg en bit utanför stan, men buss avgick precis utanför. Vi föredrog att gå då utsikten var mkt vacker nästan hela vägen! Tog ca 20 min. Bra budgetalternativ i annars dyr stad. Trevlig personal. Hotellet var dock lite slitet och städningen hade kunnat förbättras. Ingen minibar. Helt okej frukostbuffé. Trevligt poolområde.

The hotel itself was generally fine, but the bed was far too soft (although I realise this is a personal preference). However, the shower was quite literally a drip of water that changed temperature of its own accord and all the towels were dirty. Am glad I only had one night there.

Magnifica vacanza in un panorama bellissimo
Hotel che merita un ottima reputazione per la sua eleganza negli interni delle camere e dal panorama mozzafiato di tutta Sorrento. In più colazione abbondante e di ogni tipo con lenzuola sempre pulite ogni giorno. Non c'è il garage ma comunque un parcheggio all aperto molto vicino. Personale molto esperto ed educato. Scelta consigliata per una vacanza perfetta.
