Oldish tired Hotel,
Oldish tired Hotel, quiet, beautiful location halfway between Sorrento and Massa Lubrense, worn and tired rooms, rusty bath, dripping taps, no shower curtain or door, external balcony masonry & paintwork, cracked. To eat there is very expensive If you are not on a half board arrangement, the A La Carte menu has a poor extremely limited choice of main courses. The service was also poor, the Italians visiting the restaurant had better service than the hotel guests. I had to eat in Massa. The breakfasts were poor quality and very predictable every day.

Not recommend
Good view and clean but that is it.supposed to have free wifi but it was non existing. The only good thing about breakfast was the coffee. Overall i would not recommend it. Nor would I ever stay there again

Out of busy Sorrento
A good 3 star hotel with clean and tidy rooms. The view from the dining room over to Capri was stunning. Food was varied, presented well and enjoyable to eat. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Struttura situata in un posto fantastico...a 30 metri in linea d'aria dal mare...colazione abbondante, camere pulite, molto confortevoli e dotate di aria condizionata ma struttura decadente; soffione della doccia pieno di calcare e ruggine, frontalini che rischiano di cadere.

Nice hotel,great food,beautiful views,lovely walks
We've been many times to this hotel,just love it,the food and the walks and the scenery are very special.The family that own it and all the staff are very friendly.There is a beach about 20minutes walk away,with cafes and bars.

Sea View?
We were late by one day due to pilot's strike. Called from France one day before and hotel said no problem. Room was supposed to have a sea view. Only if you went out on badly kept deck and craned your neck you could see piece of ocean. Internet never worked after repeated tries. Staff somewhat haughty. Restaurant pricey. Must have car to stay there. Not close to anything. Has parking, elevator, nice antiques, nice view from restaurant.

Traumhafte Aussicht
Wir verbringen seit einigen Jahren zwei bis drei Mal jährlich einige Tage in diesem Hotel und das sagt ja wohl alles. Zuletzt waren wir im August da und haben schon wieder für Dezember gebucht. Einziges Problem im Sommer war die Parkplatzsituation, bedingt durch sehr starken Restaurantbesuch.

Good intentions but overall meh
It is a few rooms on top of restaurant, with views towards Capri. The view is great everything else below average. The coffee served with breakfast is decaf (!!) but they don't tell you, if you want a proper coffee you have to order it separately. Bathroom shower was falling apart, the only light bulb was burnt and bathroom didn't have light until the following afternoon.

Very good basic hotel
Although this family run hotel was old and in some need of updating, it was very clean (towels changed everyday and beds made.) The staff were lovely. It is an ideal hotel to stay if you don't want to be in the hustle and bustle of Sorrento town centre with an amazing view of Capri and the bay of Naples. It is a 10minute bus ride into town. There is a beach of about a mile walk from the hotel down the cliff.

sempre la solita storia....ne approfittano della location, comunque sei in costiera, ma come qualità dell'hotel non ne parliamo. stanza piccolissima, scarico del bagno rotto si allagava sempre tutto, sulla prenotazione era vista mare invece affacciava in un cortile deperito; struttura antichissssssima nemmeno mia nonna ha piu quei mobili, stanza pulita il minimo necessario tanto è vero che ho trovato dei ragni; inoltre la colazione la mattina quasi ci hanno fatto un piacere a darcela, tra l'altro 1 cappuccino per me e la mia ragazza questo è tutto, almeno il parcheggio quello c'era. Cmq se potete evitatelo 90 euro per una notte, rubate...poi si lamentano che la gente va all'estero..io ne ho visti di alberghi fuori non esiste proprio il paragone....

Hotel posizionato bene ma con bisogno di restauri
Ho soggiornato in modalità notte + colazione, senza usufruire del ristorante. Sinceramente, avendo acquistato una camera superior, mi aspettavo una camera decente. Si, è un 3 stelle, però le camere erano abbastanza fatiscenti. In pratica la differenza tra superior e standard è un terrazzino con un bel panorama, ma sinceramente passa in secondo piano il panorama se l'interno non è nemmeno sufficiente.

Fabulous old Italian Hotel
We had a wonderful stay it was quiet as it was the end of season but the owners made us very welcome. Situated between Sorrento & Massa Lubrense with bus stops outside & cheap & easy to access. We will be booking a return trip.

Friendly family hotel with great sea views
The photos do not do justice to this delightful hotel. I thought it looked rather old fashioned, well it is but in a lovely way. The array of old china and nicknacs makes a charming entrance to the attarctive restaurant with sea views. The bedrooms are simply furnished, but the sea view of Capri from the balcony is breathtaking - it is worth the extra to have a sea view. Food was very good, service very friendly and the extra amuse bouche a delight. The hotel is well situated away from the bussel of Sorrento, it is easily reached by bus and there are lots of lovely walks from this hotel around the Massa Lubrense peninsular using old paths through the villages and terraces.

A wonderfully traditional Italian hotel
The whole experience was one to savour - we were passing through and this hotel acted as a memorable stop off on our tour around the wilder side of Amalfi.

予約した部屋と違いました・・・が。
家族旅行で利用しました。まず、住所が違っています。番地が40番だったので、ナビで設定して行きましたがホテルが無く、人に聞きながら行ったところ27番でした。お部屋も浴槽ありで予約したのに、小さいシャワーのみ。写真と違った部屋でした。交渉したところ、翌日は２ベッドルームの浴槽ありの別館に変更して下さったので、良かったです。(別館の設備は良いと思います）併設のレストランは利用しませんでしたが、ミシュランガイドに載っている有名店でした。

One night stay
The hotel is on the main road over looking the sea, the restaurant attached to it is o. The opposite side of the road on the left hand side if you are coming from Sorento. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet in the evening, until midnight when we were treated to a fantastic firework display. We ate in the restaurant which was fantastic, the staff were helpful and happy to suggest menu options for you, the food is excellent.

A special experience
We booked a room (above the restaurant) with a balcony and view of Capri and Mt. Vesuvious. The room was comfortable and the view spectacular. I found the Hotel to be very nice. There are lots of community patios, the one on top has a 360 degree view and lots of tables for enjoying your own food and drink or meeting other guests. There is a covered patio off the entrance to the 2nd floor rooms, which was very convenient. The restaurant was really nice and what a view. It's true they are not within an easy walking distance to Sorrento but I understand there is convenient bus service. We had a car and parking was free. It was a perfect end to our vacation in Italy. We will stay here again.

Traumhafte Aussicht und sehr gutes Restaurant
Wir hatten wieder ein Zimmer mit Balkon von dem aus wir eine traumhafte Aussicht auf Capri und den Golf von Neapel hatten. Es gibt eine wunderschöne Dachterrasse mit dem gleichen Ausblick und ein ausgezeichnetes Restaurant. Das Frühstück ist einfach, das Brot immer frisch und sehr schmackhaft aber ansonsten nur süße Sachen. Trotzdem werdem wir dieses Hotel immer wieder buchen.

Pleasant stay; Excellent food in restaurant (5 star),charming atmosphere! Only negative was they did not give us our passports back when we checked out (oversight) and we had to drive back from Naples to retrieve them :-(

Schon beim Frühstück hatten wir vom Speisesaal einen traumhaften Blick auf Capri, Ischia, den Vesuv und den ganzen Golf von Neapel. Was noch zu erwähnen ist, es gab einen sehr guten Kaffee und frisch gepressten Orangensaft zum Frühstück.

Reseraunt with a Hotel
I thought the view was pleasant and the restaurant was wonderful! The hotel was a bit ruff. Very old and outdated. The bathroom got soaked when we used the shower there was no curtain or shower door. The room was very clean but could really use a little updating. we took a bus from Sorrento and were not sure where to get off, missed our stop and got lost so if taking a bus make sure you ask the driver to tell you when you get to the villa Pina stop. There was no where to access the beach and not much to do around the hotel. The restaurant was really good though and the people were very friendly. I would probably find a hotel actually in Sorrento if I were to visit again and take the bus to the restaurant :)

Italien ist eben Italien....
Wir wohnten für drei Nächte im Hotel, hatten Zimmer mit Meerblick (inkl. Blick auf die Insel Capri) und Frühstück gebucht. Das Zimmer war absolut in Ordnung, sauber, gepflegt. Das Bad war geschmacklich etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig gefliest, ansonsten auch ok. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der einzigen Strasse zwischen Sorrento und Massa Lubrense und ist entsprechend befahren. Gestört hat es mich allerdings nicht, bin da auch nicht sonderlich empfindlich. Für manch anderen dürfte es zuviel Verkehrslärm sein - insbesondere die ewig knatternden Vespas.... Das Frühstück war...nun...übersichtlich. Ausschliesslich süßer Belag für die Brötchen, keine Wurst und ein paar Sandwich-Käsescheiben. Dazu Cornflakes und Obst sowie Joghurt. Nach Sorrento sind es mit dem Auto nicht mal 10 Minuten, nach Massa Lubrense und dem ersten kleinen Supermarkt in der Umgebung sogar noch weniger. Vor dem Hotel hält auch eine Buslinie, die in beide Städte führt. Insgesamt betrachtet ein gute Basis für für Ausflüge zu den relevanten Orten und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Sei es die nähere Umgebung wie St Agata (20 Min.) oder Positano (30 Min) oder die weiter entfernt liegenden wie Vesuv oder Salerno (je mehr als 1 Stunde). Von außen dürfte das Hotel ruhig mal eine kleine Sanierung erfahren, aber die defekte Leuchtreklame oder zerbröselte Treppenaufgang wird in Italien ja nicht so eng gesehen... :) An das Hotel angeschlossen ist ein sehr gutes, aber im Verhältnis zu anderen in der Umgebung sehr teures Restaurant.
