숲 속에서 자고 일어난 듯 상쾌한 휴식이었습니다. 주인아저씨는 좀 무뚜뚝 하시지만 참 인정 많으시고 세심한 분이셨습니다.

After a few nights staying in hotels and struggling to find reasonable eating options we went with this guesthouse. Stocked up before we left Rekeavik and was great to have access to kitchen and cooking facilities. Host was very helpful and location was perfect for Geysir and Gulfoss falls. Local thermal springs Secret lagoon a great authentic experience and very reasonable. Farmers Bistro en route to spa locely lunch options.

Meilleure chambre d'hôte de notre voyage en Islande !!! Très bonne localisation, dans un endroit très calme. Les parties communes sont agréables, et décorés avec goût. La cuisine est grande avec tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. Il est possible de prendre un café, un thé ou un chocolat chaud même même en dehors du petit déjeuner. Le petit déjeuner est complet et pour tous les goûts. En prime nous avons même les explications de l'hôte sur les petits déjeuners typiques des islandais. Notre chambre n'était pas très grande mais bien suffisante pour notre utilisation et notre durée (1 seule nuit). Nous avions pris une chambre sans salle de bain privative. La salle de bain et les toilettes étaient très propres, et seulement partagés avec une autre chambre ! Encore merci à notre hôte pour toutes ses explications sur son beau pays !!!

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich super. Sehr schöne Zimmer und ein großer Gemeinschaftsbereich. Unser Highlight war neben den Polarlichtern in der Nacht jedoch der super freundliche Gastgeber Haraldur der uns viel über die Umgebung oder die lokalen Spezialitäten beim Frühstück erklärt hat. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Great convenient stay along the Golden Circle
Fantastic stay here along the Golden Circle. We arrived at night and left early, so didn’t get to see much of the surroundings, but the host was lovely and welcoming. The rooms were simple, clean and updated. I’d highly recommend.

Sehr herzlicher, freundlicher Gastgeber. Die Zimmer sind ganz neu renoviert und sehr schön. Tolle Duschen. Alles war sehr sauber. Es gab eine große Auswahl beim Frühstück morgens, der Gastgeber hat morgens die verschiedenen isländischen Produkte erklärt. Würden sofort wieder buchen!

Sehr schönes Anwesen. Mit Navi leicht zu finden. Sehr nette Begrüßung, sehr hilfsbereit. Zimmer und Bad war sehr sauber. Kühlschrank in der Gemeinschaftsküche kann genutzt werden. Beim Frühstück wird reichlich aufgedeckt. Können wir nur empfehlen.

Alles super und sauber! Sehr schöner Location, man hat alles was man braucht. Sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett. Küche ist groß, sauber und hat was was man braucht! Bin mega happa dort übernachten zu haben. Der Besitzer ist echt nett und erklärt uns ganz viele Sache über Island! Danke dafür! Wir kommen gerne wieder! :)

Lovely place. On the drive in, it kinda feels like you've gone the wrong way, but keep going! It's almost at the end of the road. Comfortable beds, compact but comfortable room, great shower. Great breakfast, with the proprietor (sorry I didn't catch your name!) telling us about the Icelandic foods.

Decidimos alojarnos en este sitio encantador y nos quedamos alucinados, la habitación impecable, bien decorada y la cama muuuy cómoda, nos encantó, además a la mañana siguiente teníamos una mesa en la cocina llena de productos de desayuno típicos islandeses y el dueño nos explicó que era cada uno y como debía comerse, sin ninguna duda repetiremos aquí cuando volvamos a Islandia

Owner was very friendly, bathroom was updated, however the property is really overpriced. It was a room in a dormitory, not a hotel. We felt like we should whisper in our room and couldn’t go out of room as we may disturb other residents. Also, the room was tiny, almost no counter space and we couldn’t open 2 luggages on the floor, had to have one closed each time to be able to walk! Couldn’t wash hands in tiny bathroom sink without hands touching the sink. Several breakfast items were almost ran out and was not refilled for us as we were the last one attending breakfast (although we were at breakfast ~1hr before end time).

The location of the hotel is convenient, just next to Road 1. Breakfast is simple, not many choices. The room is cozy and big enough for two big suitcases to open wide.
