We had a wonderful stay at Hotel More. The family who runs the hotel are warm, welcoming, and great hosts. The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful and VERY well maintained. There is a lush garden all around the property including in the pool area. The pool is private, quiet and again, simply beautiful. We felt our every need was attended to. The pool area is open until 9pm, which was a nice change from our other stays on this trip where some pools closed as early as 6pm! The area around the hotel is fantastic. It is a 5 minute walk to shopping, eating, and maybe 10 minutes from the old town. Everything in the area was open late, so there was always something open for a late night bite to eat. Having said that, the immediate area around the hotel is very quiet at night, and that was appreciated. The hotel made it very clear before arrival that a certain level of quiet must be maintained at all times, and even more so during other times as this is a bylaw in Sozopol. That made us feel very comfortable. If you are planning to party all night: THIS HOTEL IS NOT FOR YOU. Things to note: We were on the 4th floor, and there is no lift. Not a problem for us but if you have mobility issues, ask for a lower floor. The air conditioning works very well. You will be very comfortable for your stay. Parking is only available for an extra charge of 12 lev/day. We used the street parking, but it is VERY scarce. We just got lucky.

Beautiful family-run hotel in the heart of the city. Walkable to all the attractions. The owner is great, attentive to all your needs, you will feel at home here. Very clean and safe place, highly recommended.

We, elderly 2 person, stayed there for 4 nights. Wonderful stay, overall. Extremely welcome and helpful owner, did everything for our wellbeing. Clean, cosy (albeit a bit old-furnitured, didnt disturb us at all) room with a balcony sea view-the beach and old town are within several mins walking distance, however bear in mind Sozopol is rather hilly and hotel is located uphill ;) Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Super séjour à Sozopol
L’hôtel est un établissement familial. Je dois dire que j’ai été choyé. Le petit déjeuner est simple mais très bon et le café est de loin le meilleur que j’ai eu l’occasion de boire à Sozopol. La famille qui tient l’hôtel est très agréable. L’hôtel est très propre et les photos reflètent bien la réalité. Je recommande cet établissement.

si il y a un hôtel a réserver a SOZOPOL c'est l'hôtel More. Les propriétaires sont très avenant D'une gentillesse comme on voit très rarement , un hôtel calme bien situé dans SOZOPOL. Qui vous explique quoi faire, ou aller ,ou manger, Qui vous commande un taxis pour l'aéroport. Ils sont vraiment aux petits soins pour vous. Et le petit déjeuné sucré salé très très copieux même pas besoin de manger le midi. Avec toujours une nouveauté et le tout avec un grand sourire. Bravo au mari et a sa femme. Et un grand merci de notre part.

Perfect place to stay to experience Sozopol
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the More. Impeccably clean, very friendly hosts and delicious breakfasts with different Bulgarian specialties every morning and excellent coffee. Very convenient location, catch the little tourist train for 2 Lev to Kavasite beach, a quieter beach just outside town. Bakers, fruit shop etc just down the road. Easy to feel at home here

We stayed at the end of May. The hotel is conveniently located, only a 5 minute walk from a lovely beach and a 10 minute stroll from the main centre. There are at least 3 little convenience stores within a couple of minutes walk which is handy for beer/ snacks etc. It is a small family hotel. Dimcho and his wife are really friendly and really happy to help us with some printing and a couple of other bits and pieces. The pool in the courtyard is well maintained and a decent depth. It was 'just' about warm enough to take a dip while we were there. Our suite was cleaned every day and was spotless. It had a nice balcony. It is in a quieter area of town and feels very peaceful. For the whole stay, we were at ease and felt very welcomed. This hotel is amazing value for money. We had breakfast on one day. The coffee was really good. While the food was actually really nice, there wasn't a choice as such. If you have any picky eaters/ allergies etc. I would maybe clarify what is on offer first. Really nice coffee! If you want a clean friendly and quiet retreat which isn't going to break the bank, then this is an excellent option. My family and I really enjoyed our short stay in Sozopol.

End of season stay
A very pleasant stay in this family run small hotel, where the weather on our first few nights tested everything and everyone. I’ve always said that the true test of your host is not how well things go under normal circumstances, but how well they are dealt with when things go wrong. Suffice to say Dimcho’s response to our problem was swift and effective. You, the readers will be pleased to hear the weather changed for the better and a pleasant 2 weeks spent in Sozopol and travelling on the buses to Burgas and Nesebar. The hotel could not be cleaner. Courtesy could not be higher. Advice on restaurants is impartial and accurate. We had just one breakfast there but regret that we should have had more as is was fresh, well cooked as filling as a breakfast should be. Be aware that by the end of September the restaurants start to close so the choice tends to be limited, the guidance given to us regarding the ones that remained open was valuable. Don’t ingor the Black Sea restaurant in the square, it’s good value and food fresh and very tasty

Gemütliches familiengeführtes Hotel
Vorab war bereits die Kommunikation hervorragend. Wir wurden vom Flughafen abgeholt. Das Hotel liegt auf einen Hügel und damit für alle zu empfehlen, die gut zu Fuß sind. Als der Hotelbesitzer merkte, dass ich gerne Tee trinke, stellte er mir einen Wasserkocher und Tassen zur Verfügung. Das Frühstück ist reichlich. Jeder bekommt einen Teller voll mit Rührei mit Käse, etwas Gemüse (Tomate, Gurke), eine Salamischnitte mit Käse überbacken, Brot, Butter, Marmelade, ein Stück Kuchen und manchmal Wiener Würstchen. Dazu Kaffee oder Tee. Frühstück wird im Freien unter einem Dach aus Weinreben serviert. In 50 m Entfernung gibt es einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen. Unser Zimmer war wie bestellt sehr klein, aber mit Kühlschrank, Klimaanlage, Fernseher, Fön ausgestattet. WLAN hat gut funktioniert. 2 Strände sind einige hundert Meter entfernt. Pool und Whirlpool sind sauber. Im Hotel wird auf Ruhe geachtet. Es gibt ca. 10 verschieden große Zimmer. Das Publikum ist sehr international. Wir überlegen, noch einmal dorthin zu fahren.

Super freundliche Betreiber. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Saubere Zimmer, schnelle und gründliche Reinigung der Zimmer. Sehr ruhiges Hotel, abseits des Trubels und trotzdem nicht weit weg. Mycket fridfullt - och centralt
Ett utmärkt val av hotell för par. Atmosfären är mycket lugn och avslappnad, man känner sig som hemma direkt. Ägaren är en mycket trevlig och ambitiös man som gör sitt yttersta för att man ska trivas både på hotellet och i Sozopol. Toppservice! Frukost kan köpas för 7 leva; bordsservering av bl.a. nystekt omelett, grönsaker från den egna trädgården och nybakad ”banitsa” eller andra bakverk, samt mycket gott kaffe. Bodde i dubbelrum (rum 23) ett par trappor upp. Rummet var rymligt och balkongen mot framsidan hade ett perfekt läge och inramades av klättrande vinrankor. Rummet var mycket välstädat, skinande rent och sängkläderna krispigt fräscha. En liten trädgård med pool, jacuzzi och sauna finns för avslappning efter långa promenader i denna ljuvliga stad! Väldigt bra! Hotellet är beläget i ett lugnt och fridfullt område, med promenadavstånd till allt. Ger mitt högsta betyg, för mer prisvärd och avkopplande vistelse går faktiskt inte att finna!

Really wonderful place. Clean, impressive marble stairway, outstanding balcony. The sea-view room did indeed have a great view of the Black Sea, awesome. Dimcho was extremely helpful, and very organized. We really enjoyed the stay, and being able to explore old Sozopol.

Good value, friendly owner
We stayed there for 2 nights in April when majority of hotels are still closed. We arrived at night (emailed the hotel in advance) and it was not a problem. We got a key to the room and went to sleep. The room itself was quite large, with a small balcony and ensuite bathroom. Wardrobe, table, chairs, fridge, mirror. Bathroom was OK - no shower cabin though. In April the nights were still cool and there was no heating so we kept windows closed. Generally the rooms are neither new nor fancy, but they are good and sufficient for a few days stay. We ordered breakfast (8 leva per person) - they were simple but very filling with some toast, ommelete, sandwich and hot beverage. On the second day the breakfast also included homemade banitsa. Location was very quiet, on a hill overlooking the Sozopol. The entrance to the historical part of the city is roughly 10-15 minutes away by foot, count bit more for return as you have to climb the hill. There was a small shop nearby, convenient for buying some soft drinks and beer. There is no private parking and we parked the car on the street, I assume in summer it may be more problematic with high number of guests. Host was very friendly, happy to have us staying and happy to prepare breakfast just for the two persons as we did not see any other guests in the mornings. Great service. If you do not need to stay right in the centre and look for a affordable, nice accommodation then Hotel More is a good option.

Each room has air conditioning, in yours as well. Every air conditioner works hot and cold. You just have to turn it on.

Cosy and charming
This is a charming hotel with lovely hosts who live on site. Great views over the bay from our 3rd floor room - and yes our host carried all our bags up (and back down when we left). Airco n excellent and bed comfortable. Car parked on road right outside. Opt for the breakfast as it was super including cooked eggs, pancakes and salami toast. Centre of town 5 mins or so away. Be very happy to stay again.

We booked a last minute holiday. Wow what a find this hotel was in a great situation close to the beach and the town, but far away enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Great little pool and jacuzzi. Our room was well maintained, clean and quiet. The staff were very attentive and well informed,especially Dimcho the owner always smiling 😊. We will definitely be going back.

Wonderful hotel close to both beaches.
We visited during the last week in june. Hotel and hosts are absolutely wonderful. Hotel is spotless and pretty in a lovely quiet and relaxing road. 5 minutes away are the beaches (beautiful ) and fantastic resturants.really good value for money. We will return soon! Some nice beach bars..really chilled vibe.weather great.

Really nice hotel set in a quiet side street. Beautiful building draped in vines looks welcoming from the street. When you enter the hotel you are greater by the owner, a charming kind man who makes every effort to make you feel welcome, nothing is too much trouble. Nice sun garden at rear of hotel with a small but immaculate pool and separate warm shower area plus jacuzzi. Room was large with a/c tv good size shower room. Overall the hotel was immaculate and the breakfast for 3 euro is a bargain. We would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone.
