The manager was friendly. Breakfast was hot and ready. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. 7-11 across the street was overrun by homeless and several drug deals, police and fight with injuries requiring ambulance witnessed from our 3rd floor room. Felt unsafe walking near property and even parking car behind fence as homeless were in the hotel parking lot doing drugs in evenings.

New hotel, great staff, decent breakfast. Walkable to downtown/River Park in about 15-20 min. Area around the hotel is busy with homeless folks due to nearby shelters. Didn't really bother us but may for some.

As you may know we cannot control the area in which we are located, however our facility takes all appropriate measures to ensure guest safety including private security and a fenced parking lot which does not allow foot traffic through the property.

The staff was friendly, the lobby, and room updated and clean. The free breakfast was great. Eggs, sausage, juice, good coffee. The homeless near the hotel is sad but we still felt safe and happy to be in Spokane.

Staff was great and the room was exactly what I was looking for. The area is a little sketchy but nothing too concerning. Mostly just a few wanderers and people hanging out at the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel property feels very safe.

Absolutely wonderful staff in a great downtown location. I would give it five stars except there’s a homeless shelter one block away which makes it feel a little unsafe for women traveling alone. Other than that, it had great breakfasts, staff was absolutely awesome, it was very modern and clean. I will probably stay here again.

As discussed unfortunately you booked a 3rd party reservation which is ineligible for a refund and is not a direct issue caused by the hotel nor was a problem experienced during your visit.

Nice staff and everything is well stocked breakfast was good. Spacious room and comfortable bedding. Bathroom is a bit awkward from a layout. Quiet inside the hotel but some street noise (we were on floor 1). There is some large and suspicious gathering across the street (homeless) at 7eleven. It's just endemic of this states passivist stance vs anything you can hold against the hotel but it means we drove vs walked anywhere. Parking lot is gated and there are cameras.

I was there with my son and husband for our son’s basketball tournament. The location was convenient right next to the freeway. Across the street is a 7/11 where you will see 10 to 20 people on drugs all day and night. It never stops. I didn’t feel safe outside my hotel at any moment. The hotel itself was fine. The staff were very friendly. Cleanliness was 6/10. There’s was hair in our bathroom floor and shower. They did make our beds daily which was nice.

We had a good experience staying at La Quinta for the first time. But location wise, surrounded by homeless and druggies. I bit scary to walk outside the hotel by yourself. But it was safe inside the hotel. Also I liked that the main door you need a room key to open it

We set our work crew up at this property and they had great things to say about the hotel! This crew loves a clean bed and a hot breakfast and they said this place delivered. They did have some concerns about the surrounding area but they said they would stay at this property again.

If I could get a refund then I’d ask for one. Horrible stay, strange smell in room, phone didn’t work, barking dog across the hall, small bathroom and the list goes on.

Justin, and all the amazing staff, were so helpful and kind during my stay. As a young woman traveling alone, I felt nervous booking this hotel since it’s so close to downtown Spokane. However, I felt completely safe after checking in and discovering the security measures in place for guests! The breakfast was amazing and the rooms were clean and efficient. A great choice for Spokane!

Parking is horrible, we couldn’t stay in this hotel and they just took my money. Homeless people all over and the front desk is useless. They wanted us to park our $130k truck on the street where it was full of drug addicts. Terrible, terrible location.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately if the reservation is pre-paid, we cannot give a refund. As for parking, because we only have a limited amount of spaces in our lot, we cannot accommodate large trucks. We hope that despite this experience, if you need a place to stay next time you are in town, you will consider us.

The night man sprayed some air freshener in the lobby and sent me into an asthma attack. It was awful. A lot of homeless ppl hung out at the 7-11 next door.

Love staying here. Staff has always treated us well, breakfast is pretty decent, quiet and honestly really secure. Yes, there are plenty of unhoused people on the other side of the street. They are humans just like us and deserve love. Also, they do not bug you at all and the hotel is basically card access only.

Spokane has a derelict/mentally ill population and this Hotel is at the epicenter of. I watched an addict heating up his injection while leaning on your south motel wall on morning, as well as I was approached in your parking lot to purchase a watch. Its poorly lit on the front- southern parking area which is adjoins at gas and beer station. Regrettably, you're located well but unwell, as this area caters to and as well as, overlooks the dangerous personalities near your customers. I will not stay there again because of it.

I received a message before our arrival asking if we needed anything, which was very appreciated. When we checked in the gentleman was extremely helpful and offered suggestions for dinner. Upon check-out. He remembered why we were there and inquired as to how it went. Even though we were only there one day, it was a wonderful experience. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Additionally, the continental breakfast was great.

Great Stay
Good place to stay. The customer service was above and beyond expectations even before we checked in! Started with a text to see if we needed anything extra in our room for our stay. All my requests were met. The bed as was comfortable, pillows were a little flat though. Plenty of towels. Fitness room was clean and accessible. Breakfast was tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Someone was always at the front desk and made sure to buzz you in right away especially at night due to the homelessness and drug use near by. This helped to ensure that we felt safe staying there.
