The staff are all amazing!!! (Especially “Baby” don’t put him in a corner [Scott]). What a beautiful property, and amazing riverwalk area… we are so impressed with the Expo sites and the Sky “tram” and falls. Wow! The hotel itself is amazing and everyone is soooo helpful, The Peacock Lounge is beautiful and the food is lovely too. Thank you… Spokane did not disappoint.

A beautiful and elegant hotel. Would definitely recommend. Room was comfortable and clean and all the amenities you would need for your stay. Several dining areas to choose from and many within a short walking distance.

Magnificent historic building to explore. Easy walking distance to river and dining. Easy parking across the street. In house dining is just OK, but better choices are near by.

Amazing property, beautiful common area. Great location. A bit frustrating to arrive and have them tack on a "resort fee" that adds $20 a night. Just post your rate and don't blindside us when we arrive. Also, rooms should be serviced every day in a property like this. Obviously since COVID they have taken the green light to not service rooms automatically but I requested service and it was not done. Service is just poor.

Great for a birthday trip to Spokane! The hotel was beautiful and clean and the service was excellent. On check in the manager gave an upgrade and a welcome package to celebrate my birthday. The hotel was downtown and close to great food and shopping and tons of entertainment. Will definitely return.

It is a great location for shopping and dining. However the charges for amenities that really didn't pertain to us as we were only there for 1 night was a bit too much.

The staff was very friendly and attentive, but they are severely understaffed. I called the front desk 3 times- the first two times I was placed on hold for so long that I hung up. When I called room service, no one answered when I called the restaurant no one answered and they told me to leave a recording and that they would call me back. when I finally got through to the front desk, they were very nice and apologetic, but this is unacceptable. The management needs to hire more staff. I am surprised of the existing staff does not leave because they have to deal with so many complaints.

Overall great location and service. A little over priced for the aging facilities, but again the set is great. Area around downtown is not very safe.

My middle schooler and I were greeted by impeccable service, warmth radiating from every staff interaction. The hotel itself was a symphony of preserved grandeur, each corner boasting meticulous care and timeless elegance. Our room, a sanctuary of immaculate surfaces, unfolded with surprising spaciousness. The air resonated with the hotel's heritage, every detail oozing class – intricate moldings, antique furnishings. It was like stepping into a forgotten chapter, a storybook brought to life. A personal highlight was the second floor, where captivating framed photographs whispered tales of a bygone era. Then came the Grand Pennington Ballroom – a jaw-dropping masterpiece. Ornate ceilings, glittering chandeliers, and intricate tilework transported me to a Jaipur palace, leaving me awestruck and inspired. We embraced both breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The food was a culinary concerto, each dish expertly composed and bursting with flavor. The ambiance, woven with history, undeniably added to the experience. We weren't too excited about our first room because there was no fridge and a pair of socks and a shirt on the floor. They were so kind when we called and they moved us to a beautiful corner suite. I couldn't have asked for better service. You helped create beautiful memories for my family. Wonderful job guys!

Lobby was pretty decorated for Christmas, live music was lovely, food at the lobby restaurant was good but pricy. Over all the hotel is not as sanitary as I wish it could be, carpets were not clean in the lobby maybe because it was winter not sure. The room was okay but the bathroom definitely needed some deep cleaning around sink and bathroom. Pool overcrowded and too noisy not worth going. Will we stay there again probably no.

We stayed over new years. Great staff and accommodations. Close to everything. There is train track's on the south side of the hotel. They are used all night every night and you can hear them well. I would definitely not stay again unless we were on the the opposite side.
