Location - walking distance to Applebees and other eat out places. Close to local downtown. Property is clean, well managed by a friendly and welcoming staff!

There were crumbs all over the floor, hair all over the beds. The sheets and blankets did not look clean at all. I would not stay here again.

I chose this property over other options because of the "exceptional" rating and the pictures -but once we arrived I could tell that the pictures were from a different time when the space was newer-things both in the main lobby and in our room were pretty tired looking. I had clorox wipes and gave everything a good scrubbing-there was something brown and crusty on the bedside drawer and the "dust ruffle/mattress cover" was pretty dirty-the chair in our space also had some tears as well. The space was quiet though and we felt safe enough with the parking lot situation. Breakfast offerings were pretty good. I received a "check in early" text a few days before our arrival and filled everything out but when we arrived the desk person said "yeah we don't use that system anymore" so it made me nervous that I had filled out information like our license plate number etc. So our stay was "fine enough" but I'm not sure I would give the "exceptional" rating that drew me to staying there in the first place.

Room was clean and nice. Hot breakfast was good, nice to have right on property. Staff was very friendly. Walking distance to restaurants for evening meals.

The property was very clean, staff was very friendly, ease of checking in and checking out. Breakfast was good and many options. The warm delicious cookies were a perk. My only complaint was that the bed was a bit too firm for my liking. Would definitely stay here again if the need arises.

We were there for a 2 night stay…booked this hotel because of the “great” reviews on line. Our room was just ok. I killed a huge spider in it and there were several hairs in the shower on the wall and on the bed spread that were not ours. I felt like maybe the room was not as clean as it could have been. Breakfast was kind of disappointing. Not a lot of options. For the price we paid I expected better.

Lovely stay at clean, quiet location
Fantastic friendly check in after a long drive & late arrival. Room was very clean & spacious. Large marble bathroom counter, sitting area (suite) with pullout couch and armchair. Lots of plugs to recharge electronics. Pillows were excellent with 2 firmness levels to choose from & soft sheets. Breakfast in morning with lots of choices between hot & cold. Typical continental breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, bagels, muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal & juice.)

Good Choice for the Price
The "queen" beds were more like "full" but aside from that, there were no complaints. The facility is decent, the beds are ok, the location is very accessible. I have stayed before, I will stay again.

Everyone we saw was friendly. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We could not hear our neighbors. The so we’re was nice and in a large bathroom area. Breakfast was standard, but kept fresh and replenished. The breakfast area was clean and tables wiped down between guests. Fresh water, coffee and cookies were available in the lobby at appropriate times as well as breakfast bags to go. The little area to purchase snacks had a variety of items at standard hotel prices. I rarely give out five star reviews, but this place deserves one!

Pleasant and Comfortable Stay!
The front desk associate greeted us promptly when we walked in and she was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, the bathroom was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The room also had plenty of lighting, which was very pleasant. Great view of the surrounding area from the top floor, also. I highly recommend this Comfort Suites hotel!

Solid Stay
Solid stay! Location was great and close to good restaurants and Fairgrounds. Room was clean and spacious. The breakfast had a good mixture of hot and cold, fresh and packaged. Was on a 1st floor room and had no noise complaints. My only complaint was the bed was hard, it was extremely firm. Softer mattresses or a good topper would be a solid investment.

Everything was excellent! From check in to checkout. The clerk at the desk was very,very friendlt,helpful, and patient. Her name started with an E I believe. ( Im sorry i dont remember her full name). Very clean rooms.

The staff is exceptional especially Erica. She was very professional and friendly. I would have given a higher rating but the bed was a little bit harder than usual and the furniture inside the room was rundown. I would definitely go back again and hopefully they’ll have new furniture.

We spent 3 nights and felt well taken care of. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Our room was cleaned daily as per our request. The breakfast was always fully stocked and warm. The pool was nice, clean and had towels available poolside. It is an easy 10 minute drive North to downtown Springfield. The neighborhood between the hotel and downtown is not the best but I feel this is a city problem not the hotels. The lake area to the south was very nice and the neighborhoods over by Washington park were beautiful. We also enjoyed a day at Lincoln’s New Salem which is only about 30 minutes away from the hotels nice location next to the roadways. We did not notice traffic noise, just heard regular hotel activity. The beds were nice and a 2Q suite fit our family of 4 well.

I would definitely stay here again. The room was clean, nice sitting area and comfy beds. All the staff that I interacted with were very friendly. The breakfast is good. Lots of options. I recommend the chocolate waffles!
