This was a nice hotel to stay at for one night. It was just a solo trip with me and my poodle. Before booking your room I recommend calling to ask about the pet fee. Have a convenient little restaurant next door.

It was bad. Found drug underthe bed, black mold on the ceiling in bathroom, tv diddnt work, smelled like weed in the room. Front desk didnt try to fix it or nothing.i think i should of gpt my money back for the problems i found

Property was smelling really bad. Main entrance porch was badly cracked and looked like it will fall anytime. Bathrooms floors were cracked , Tub would drain slowly. Their ad said continental breakfast but it was only bread and cereals and it ran out by 8.30 and they wouldn’t fill it back. I will not stay here again.

The hotel room left much to be desired during my stay. The lack of fresh towels and poor cleanliness were notoriously negative points. In addition, the unpleasant odor in the hallways contributed to an unwelcoming experience. Clearly, maintenance and attention to detail are areas in need of urgent improvement at this establishment.

Toilet would not flush. No light bulbs in lamps. Rug was wet infront of minifridge. I told the front desk and nothing was done. This place is a dump and i would not let my dog stay here

The bedding was not changed. There were hairs and food crumbs left in the beds. You could tell the staff just remade the bed and didn’t change out the sheets for clean ones. The ground was not vacuumed and felt gross to the touch. The lady at the front desk was very friendly though and did go get us a new change of sheets for the room.

This place was pretty decent for the price. Everything and I mean everything is within walking distance. breakfast was mediocre. American ran for sure. pool was down. rooms were ok but pretty clean.

Only three stars on the property condition because they are doing a lot of work to the hotel. Seems to be some needed upgrades. But its not an annoyance or problem at all. Overall a decent stay

The first room had not been cleaned. Beds were unmade and trash everywhere. The second room beds were made, but there was trash in trash cans, also woke up to bed bugs. It was horrible! 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Arrived at 4am with a paid reservation, lady greeted us with a rude "you're gonna have to wait 20 minutes I'm doing an audit", 30 minutes later we get checked in. Room was hard to find, there were dirty socks on the floor, shirt in the dresser, blood stains on the curtains, hair in the shower, feces on the wall next to the toilet, trash hadnt been emptied but had a new bag on top of the trash, bedside lamp was broken, an outlet hanging from wall with exposed wires, floor hadnt been vacuumed, trash under the bed including some baggies with drug residue in them and lighter. People tried to get in our room at 5am, then several times more starting at about 9am.

The hotel was rundown but for the price what do you expect. The rooms were clean, and Ziggies next door was a great breakfast alternative to basic cold for breakfast.

Whhen we pulled in the parking lot i got out and seen needles from the parking spot to the front door. I refused to open the door to let my 8 year old to see this. Also as we pulled in cops was leaving with the k-9 and a old lady was outside the doors. You could see the place need to be clean from the mold on the outside windows. So we decided to leave before we even walked in this place.

Being new to springfield, my apartment was pushed back for almost 2 weeks. The people at Lamplighter south, are amazing. Great customer service. They handle unexpected situations very well. I recommend this place to everyone. Tell them Laramy sent you.
