朝ごはんは着いてるので良かった コンビニもすぐ近くにある ロッカーがなかったので心配だったが結果何もなかった シャワーは故障中でお湯が出ず、別フロアを使うしかなかった ワイファイはあまり機能しなかった

背包里的充电宝不见了
跟好友一起把背包和行李箱寄存在前台监控下方，但是好友背包里的充电宝不见了，因为着急赶飞机，没时间追查。

Okej för pengarna.
Man fick inga lakan att sova i. Enbart underlakan för inte sova direkt på madrassen. Frukosten var ett stekt ägg och tre brödskivor. Jag är ändå nöjd för vi betalade inte för mer. Men förvarning om man satsar på bättre.

Een leuk hotel als je wat goedkoper wenst te gaan. Perfect voor gewoon je nachtrust op te zoeken. WiFi aanwezig en het hotelpersoneel is vriendelijk en doen hun best met het spreken van Engels.

Kort transitophold.
Backpack Lanka var et ok sted for en enkelt nat på et begrænset budget, men der er ikke den store luksus, og jeg ville ikke anbefale det til et længerevarende ophold. Vi ankom omkring midnat og checker id næste formiddag, for at rejse væk fra Colombo, så jeg kan ikke rigtigt sige noget om området, hvor det ligger.

Ok for one night only
Wasn't made clear at the time of booking that there wasn't a window in the room, tainted our stay massively, staff were friendly and very helpful, AC unit was powerful and wifi was ok. Breakfast was good, simple fried egg on toast.

Not great
The room smelled bad when I arrived and the walls are thin so hear noise from other guests throughout the night. Bathrooms and showers are clean and staff are friendly.

I got what I needed. Just a place to sleep. Bonus was the hot water and working wifi. no windows was minus.

Good location everything else meh
The location was the only redeeming factor of this property. It is very easy to get to and from many places. When I arrived at 2am, which I put in the special notes about late arrival. The door was locked. I needed to wake up the night staff to check in. The check in was a bit long and I was just given my key. When I arrived to the room there was a musty smell that just didn't go away. The room is small (4 female dorm). There are no lockers for safe keeping of your stuff. Also there is only one sheet on there bed. They don't even provide you with a top sheet. It does get chilly with the AC on which you certainly need, as there is no window in the room. The bathing area is disjointed and not very clean at all. I was not super happy. The water was cool on most days even when they say hot water. I would not recommend this place.

Bare bare bones
The place could use a thorough cleaning. I was in a 4 person female dorm. They never once came to change sheets after a guest left. There was a significant lack of toilet paper in the bathrooms. The bathrooms were not the cleanest. The set up was a bit weird as well. Toilets across from the showers. There was no place to change in the showers or even hooks to hang your towel. I was told it was no frills. That is exactly what it is. Also they lock the door on the evening so if coming back late you will need to wake the attendant. If you're okay with bare bones, then this is okay. The location was very awesome. That was the only benefit of this place.

Worst two hours ever
Was a short stay, only two hours but the worst two hours. Bad service and I think we were double charged. We paid through hotels.com but receptionist also asked for cash!

Backpacker ställe
Det är verkligen ett ställe man mellanlandar på. staden Colombo har inte mycket att erbjuda och är stökig, men Backpacker Lanka har jättetrevlig personal, gratis lankesisk frukost och finns tillgängliga dygnet runt. Duscharna är rena och toaletterna lika så :)

Trevlig personal och bra läge
Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Vandrarhemmet ligger väldigt bra till nära en galleria och affärer. Det är gångavstånd till flera ställen, Galle Face green, parken etc

Good position in the city No water pressure 2 floo
No windows cant tell day or night no fresh air needs fresh circulating air inside no natural light coming in. Breaky is a bit dismal not worth eating but most of asia is like that too much oil and sugar

一泊でも連泊でも利用価値の高い立地
１人でドミトリーに一泊だけ滞在しました。部屋はエアコンが効いてて、ベッドも清潔で快適でした。 ２段ベッドが２台の４人部屋でしたが、宿泊者一人一人にカギが渡されるようで、ちゃんと部屋にカギをかけることができました。 てっきり水シャワーだと思っていましたが、２つあるシャワーのうちの１つはお湯が出ます。欧米人が出たすぐ後にシャワーを使いましたが、熱々のお湯が最後までちゃんと出ました。暑いコロンボではありますが、ポイント高いと思います。ただし、脱衣場はありません。 トイレもシャワーとは別に２つあります。洗面台も２つありますが、こちらは水がちょろちょろとしか出ないので、歯磨きなどの時にはボトルの水を使いました。 スリランカのほかの都市と比べ物価の高いコロンボで、割安のドミトリーにはそれだけでも魅力があります。しかも立地が非常に良く、利用価値の高い宿だと思います。

A very untidy hostel
This hostel was the worst I've ever been to. When we first got there, after it took the tuktuk driver 45 min to find the place, there was a dead cockroach waiting for us on the floor. The room was very untidy, the whole hostel was, and it smelled awful there. We didn't get towels like we were supposed to. The bathrooms and showers were not that bad but you could tell that nobody cleaned them for the two nights we stayed. The staff was ok, one guy helped us to find a place to eat and was polite.

Muy caro para lo que ofrecen
Aunque todo está en estado de funcionamiento, está todo viejisimo. Con respecto a la habitación, el suelo estaba todo manchado. Una sorpresa agradable fue el tener aire acondicionado. Habiendo viajado ahora dos semanas x Sri Lanka, este sitio me parece clarísisisimo para lo que ofrecen. La única compensación es que el personal es súper amable y te pueden echar una mano para cualquier cosa que necesites

Equipe muito atenciosa e hospitaleira! Chegamos antes do horário do check-in e o recepcionista nos colocou em um quarto. Pedimos para trocar de quarto e ele nos deixou escolher um melhor. Porém todos os quartos tinham muito mofo, a maioria sem janela, e o ar condicionado era velho e sujo. A localização é perfeita. O bairro é seguro e perto do Galle face, dá para ir a pé. A área de convívio comum é muito boa, com TV, computador e dardos.

Backpacker Heaven
A terrific place, especially for backpackers. They are super helpful and straight up people, who wants you to have a good time! They were a big a help to us; helped us find other places to go see in Sri Lanka, how to behave, only recommended places that wouldn't cheat you, taught us how much you should Tuctuc drivers, Etc. Over all, it was a delight, and we are definitely staying there again, when we go back to Colombo.

cheap hostel in the center of Colombo
room with no window, no bedligts, no key to the wardrobe wich were supposed to function as a safetybox, dirty walls and small room. Shared toilet and shower was OK, wifi worked just fine, super friendly staff who helped us plan the next step, and met us borrow an adapter for free! Good location in the center of Colombo! For a cheap hostel in a capitalcity, Backpack Lanka is a good choise!

Clean, Economical stay
I had booked this place going by the price; There were no regrets with the stay. Overall very pleased and would recommend for anyone who is looking for economical stay in the city. Free pool is a bonus.
