다시는 기억하고 싶지않은 숙박
위치는 괜찮음. view budget room 이었는데, 히카두와 비치에 있는 view room은 전부 그정도이니 별로 특별한것은 없음. 바다보면서 수영할수 있는 것은 장점이나, 수영장이 깨끗하지는 않음. 객실 청결도는 최악, 개미많고 과자나 과일 부스러기 하나만 있으면 수백마리의 개미떼를 볼 수 있음. 체크아웃하는날 배낭을 전부 털어 청소하였으나 결국 한국에서까지 스리랑카 개미를 잡아야했음. 화장실에서는 복도의 소리와 옆방의 소리를 생생하게 들을 수 있음. 욕실에는 비누밖에 없으며 그외 모은 amenity는 심지어 물까지도 extra charge가 붙음. 정말 다시는 생각하고 싶지 않은 숙박이었음.

Nice hotel in the heart of Hikkaduwa. Good buffet breakfast. Plenty of restaurants near by if you want a change from hotel food. Like most hotels in this area it is right on the very busy main road. Traffic at night is very noisy, worth paying for a sea view room if you can.

Det var endast en lättdörr mellan oss och grannen (en stor barnfamilj) så resultatet blev ett extremt lyhört rum. Vidare var fönstret mot vägen så trafik hördes dygnet runt. Ljudisolering är bara att glömma. Ljudmässigt kändes det som om man sov under bar himmel med en stor barnfamilj strax intill.

on the beach のホテルです。４泊しましたが、 従業員がフレンドリーで、気持ち良く過ごせました。 設備が古いため、チェックイン時にセーフティボックス、 冷蔵庫が壊れていて、ルームサービスに修繕をしてもらいました。が、３泊目に夕食から帰ったら、何と、セーフティボックスがチェックイン時同様壊れていて、戸が解放されていて、中身が露出されていて驚きました。

Davvero un ottimo soggiorno
Abbiamo passato 6 notti in questo albergo proprio davanti alla parte migliore della spiaggia di Hikkaduwa! L'albergo era molto pulito e le camere spaziose! anche la colazione era ben fornita e il ristorante con affaccio sulla piscina molto buono e comodo, lo consiglio assolutamente!

Direct on the ocean
My room was on the beach side so my view was directly onto the incoming waves. The room was very basic but functional with twin beds next to each other. The bathroom had on opening onto the hallway for venting so any noise in the hallway came into the room. I would recommend a seasde room as the hotel is directly on the street and there is alot of traffic. Breakfast buffet was very good with choice of sri lankan or western food, which I appreciated. I had a free foot massage for free in the spa which was very good. I then booked a full massage and was informed that the price was appr. 30% more than on the pricelist due to taxes and service. Still not expensive but surprised me. Massage was also very good. The spa itself was just some walls in an open space on the 3rd floor. Simple but was open to the ocean so had the sound of the waves and an ocean breeze.

Comfortable and afforable
Was a very pleasant stay here. beds are pillows are super soft, just the type you need after partying all night! very very friendly and helpful hotel staff! linens could use a proper cleaning. I kept getting stained towels every day. I suggest bringing your own towel if you can. Other than that, I would highly recommend this place to any traveler who doesn't want a cheap guest house or a super expensive hotel.

温水や電気が気まぐれに消えたり出なかったりするのと、ベッドのシーツが汚れているのが気になりました。ティッシュも基本はトイレしかありません。 シャワールームの水漏れも気になりました。 しかし、オーシャンビューのロケーションと接客の対応は最高でした。

Good location, not a good hotel
Bansei is located on the main road, near to good restaurants and the coral reef. Location is definitely its best aspect together with the pool. We stayed there for over a week and our sheets weren't changed at all during the stay. Cleaning was done very left-handedly and the floor under our bed looked like it had never been vacuumed. The bathroom was small, hot, humid, dirty and full of bugs. A proper cleanup would have done wonders. Our room was facing the main road and with only glass doors as walls, we needed earplugs to sleep. As others have commented, the staff wasn't very helpful. There were lots of staff members during the day, but everything happened slowly and their focus seemed to be elsewhere. Breakfast wasn't included in the price. If bought separately, was expensive compared to nearby restaurants. Overall, I wouldn't recommend staying at Bansei, at least not for longer than a few days. There are better and cheaper options elsewhere in Hikkaduwa.

Positives: -Strandnähe -Liegen mit Handtuch verfügbar -Großes Zimmer -Nette Angestellte Negatives: -Der Boden im Zimmer war nie sauber, obwohl wir darauf hingewiesen haben. Nach einem Gang durch das Zimmer waren die Füße immer schwarz. -Sehr hohe Luftfeuchte im Bad, da es durch ein Gitter mit dem Gang verbunden ist, jedoch über keinen Ventilator verfügt -Manche der Angestellten sprechen kaum Englisch -Das Zimmer könnte liebevoller eingerichtet sein, da es ziemlich leer und kalt wirkt so ganz ohne Bilder, Spiegel und mit dem kalten grauen Boden Fazit:

We stayed there for 2 nights. The hotel is in a perfect location with a perfect pool. We didnt have breakfast there, the staff were helpful but we didnt like the bathroom and the sheets they werent clean...

Well located, basic standard
The hotel is located conveniently on the main road right by the beach. The beachfront pool is the highlight and by far the best part of the property. Reception staff were definitely not the friendliest or most helpful hotel employees we met at Sri Lanka. The room could have been cleaned better. Overall the hotel was of basic standard.

Hotel with great location on the beach
Great location on beach, great pool. Although the room seemed basic on arrival and as a cheaper room located next to the busy road, it proofed to have the necessary amenities (wifi, air conditioning, comfortable bed with 2 pillows each, enclosed balcony, fridge, ensuite bathroom with hot water shower, plenty of clean towels) and we slept very well. Particularly liked the pool with view of the sea and deck for sunbathing and reading. Shame the breakfast was extra.

Bonnes situation et prestation, sans problème
Chambre avec vue sur route mais pas bruyante, belle piscine, accès direct à la mer, chambre très propre malgré le drap déchiré, atmosphère un peu moite car en front de mer, aération de la salle de bain dans le couloir, personnel très serviable, fourni les serviettes de plage, chambre moderne et confortable comme les parties communes.

Hotel se situant a 1 km de la railways station, direction Galle. Accueil assez froid comme l aspect general qui manque de finition. PDJ cher, mieux vaut le prendre a l exterieur. La chambre est tres confortable. Pour un supplement negociable, je conseille vivement une vue sur mer, le spectacle en vaut la peine.Piscine agreable qui donne un plus a cet hotel, acces direct a la plage. Pour conclure, malgre quelques bemols, je le conseils.

amazing place to stay and relax at the pool
loved the pool and just laying by it and listening to the ocean. room is pretty sparse with amenties but you dont need them since you should be outside at the pool. great views and love the bean bag chairs. Short walk to the beach area that you can swim

Great hotel excluding reception staff and bathroom
Hotel itself was terrific, great pool and a great price. However, the staff were very unhelpful, and wouldn't/couldn't recommend any restaurants for us to eat in, besides their own. One particular staff member wasn't even able to help us with directions on how to get a bus to Colombo. The bathroom in our room was also ridiculously hot and humid, and was disgusting to be inside.
