Great experience
We have spent great days in Jetwing Ayurveda Pavillions. All staff - without exception - are completely dedicated, passionate and know exactly what they are doing. Being almost two meters tall, I was worried, that I would not get enough food - talked to the doctor about this. She then instructed the kitchen to prepare bigger portions for me. This allowed me to enjoy great food, in sufficient quantities. Looking forward to returning some day!

Enjoyed a relaxing Christmas at Ayurveda Pavillion
I very spontanously went to Jetwing Ayurveda Pavillions over Christmas 2022 on my own. Just needed some time for myself. Hotel is nicely located in a green garden, small but beautiful pool. Staff is lovely. It's NOT a beach resort, keep this in mind but you can walk like 5min and use Jetwing Blue and Jetwing Beach's pools and beach as well as they are of the same brand. As I stayed only for 5 days, the proximity of the airport was one of the reasons I selected the resort. Hotel has around 36 rooms/villas but the first days we were only 5 guests, so said but of course it was somehow more quiet and to our benefit. Few days later we were around 8 guests... Apart from the treatments, the food was one of the highlights of my stay. Definitely recommend, probably will come myself again as well.

The best place to start your Ayurveda journey!
I’ve been to a few Ayurveda places in Sri Lanka and this one has many things that makes it stand out. First of all the food is unbelievable! they have over 49 type of vegan meals to tailor food to each individual’s Ayurveda constitution (and to make sure you don’t get bored of the same buffet when staying for long periods during panchakarma treatments). I can honestly say I didn’t miss eating meat for the whole stay! Dr Dinesh and Dr Anurada are authentic practitioners with amazing ‘pulse reading’ skills to detect potential health imbalances you have. The therapists are kept the same for your whole stay too and treatment is even available in your own room - which is very unique (king pavilion rooms only I think). Experienced Hatha Yoga teachers make the sessions enjoyable by mixing up the routine every day too. The only thing that could be improved is the Wi-Fi and those looking for a better beach experience alongside your treatment, may prefer to look elsewhere.

3食+アーユルヴェーダトリートメント+料理教室やミュージックセラピーなどのオプション+お薬+Yogaもついてかなりお得な値段だと思いました。 ただしYogaの先生はわたしの人生で受けたどの先生より最悪でした。日本だったら絶対どこも雇わないでしょレベルの方でそれは残念でした。 部屋は3階建ての3階だったので屋根の格子のところからヤモリやアリなどが色々入ってきて苦手な人はちょっと3階は厳しいかもです。1、2階はちゃんとした天井なので大丈夫。 施術師も良かったしドクターも素晴らしく、何より思っていたアーユルヴェーダ料理より美味しかったです。それぞれのドーシャに合わせた料理で心身共にdetox出来ました。

スタッフはみんなとても親切で、心地よいステイでした。 ただ虫全般、特に蚊は多いので、虫除けスプレーだけでなく、部屋にスプレーするものなどの蚊除けグッズは必須です。。 レイトチェックアウトも出来、深夜便での帰国も問題なしでした!

総評では「良い」です。全体的なバランスでは、とても良い店と、最悪な点とがありました。お部屋は配管の悪臭が少し感じられたうえ、大雨で雨漏り。2泊して、部屋を変えてもらいました。お部屋のグレードアップ になりましたが追加チャージはありませんでした。 お食事はアユールベーダの体質にあったものを毎回供されます。メニューは掲示されているのですが、メニューに記載されているものがお皿にのってなかいことがしばしば。スタッフにそれを伝えると言い訳して誤魔化したりも。ベテランスタッフに言うと追加でたしてくれました。毎回メニューとお皿を比較しないといけなくて、恒例行事になりました。 最終日は宿泊に付随しているトリートメントがなかったので、オプションで二時間のトリートメントをお願いしました。トリートメントの前に医師によるコンサルティングが毎回あります。オプションでもコンサルティングをやってくださって、その後トリートメントに入ったのですが、トリートメント終了はコンサルティング開始の二時間後。トリートメントだけだと95分。それをトリートメントしてくださったかたに「短いのでは?」というとスゴい剣幕でコンサルティング入れて二時間だ❗️と言われ、ああそうなのかと。 その後、日本語ができるスタッフにもう一度確認すると、トリートメントだけで二時間だ、とここと。ことの次第を伝えたら、トリートメントしてくださったかたは、貴方が部屋にはいった時間が間違ってるとかいろいろといわれてもうつかれてしまって。 最後が後味の悪い結末になってしまってとても残念でした。 空港からも近くて本格的なアユールベーダを体験できるホテルなので、今回が良ければこれから毎年来ても良いな、と考えていたのですが、再訪するかどうかは微妙です。

虫が多い!
蚊にすごい気をつけてましたが、6ヶ所刺されました。トリートメントメント中も蚊に刺されました。トリートメント中は裸に近いので刺されるところが多いので蚊が入ってこないようにしてもらいたいです。 エアコンなしのお部屋はシャワーとトイレが外に繋がっているため、蚊、かなぶん、いろんな虫が入ってきます。

The top floor non – air conditioned rooms are a part of the design of the wellness retreat to let fresh air flow through the space. Greenery in the surroundings do attract a few harmless insects but preventive steps are in place to control and eliminate the presence of mosquitoes. The ointments and repellents used are all local remedies and very nature friendly. We will certainly increase our treatment frequency to control the presence of mosquitoes. All rooms and treatment rooms have mosquito repellents and balm to prevent mosquito bites on guests. Ok for a night but stay away from the street rooms
For one night I bought a package Including 3 meals, yoga, and an Ayurvedic treatment and dr consultation. It was nice but a longer stay is recommended for maximum results. Great to use the other Jetwing facilities. My room was right next to the noisy road and the massage outside wasn’t as relaxing as it could’ve been because of this. Staff was very accommodating. Yoga was in a noisy breakfast area with meal prep and property maintenance care noises...a quieter space would be better for maximum relaxation.

The service was brilliant. The treatment was very professional and the food was great. The room however was quite old and although you can do nothing about it, lots of mosquitos, so you want to relax at the terrace but really couldn’t. Same with the bathroom. I wanted to take a bath but couldn’t because of the bugs.

初日、新しい目の棟のお部屋でした。最上階は屋根の部分が密閉されておらず、蚊やトカゲが入ってきますので、事前に部屋は指定しておきましょう。 宿泊の際は蚊取りグッズ必須です。 アーユルヴェーダを本格的に受けたい方は5日以上がオススメです。5日以下だとちょっとした体験にしか成らないです。

プチ贅沢を味わえる
アーユルヴェーダ体験目的で3泊しました。今までスパリゾートホテルに泊まったことがないので比較できませんが快適に過ごせました。 ウェルカムドリンクから常温のフレッシュフルーツジュースで嬉しかったです。 確かに蚊がとても多いですが、部屋には防虫スプレーをして部屋への出入りも気を付けると日を追うごとに部屋の蚊は減っていったのでそこまで気になりませんでした。 毎日診断後トリートメントを受け、空いた時間にリゾート街をプラプラする日々でした。 体質に合わせた食事はスリランカ料理をオシャレにアレンジしていて目にも楽しかった。スリランカの一般の食事店からすると出される量は少なめでしたが、ランチとディナーはデザート付きです。

ゆっくりするにはオススメ
リラックスやデトックスを目的にするなら、基本ここでことが足りると思います。 滞在中はAMにアーユルヴェーダで2時間ほどトリートメントを行なっていただけますし、系列ホテルのプライベートビーチも使えます。 食事は比較的薄味でベジタリアンフードなので、物足りない男性はいるかもしれませんが、私には美味しかったです。

アーユルヴェーダのためほぼホテルにこもって4泊しました。 良かった点 ・料理がおいしく、従業員もフレンドリーな方が多かった ・近くにスパセイロンやディルマなどのお店がある ・施術時は日本語通訳の方がいるので、英語ができなくても安心(直接ホテルにお願いしました) ・空港から近い(車で25~30分) 悪かった点 ・運悪くヨーロッパ系の方の団体がいたので、ディネシュ先生の問診を受けられなかったこと ・上記のため、朝のヨガが蚊帳のある室内ではなく、屋外だったこと(虫よけスプレーしても刺されました。) ・レストランの従業員の料理の説明が適当で、こちらに聴き取らせようとすらしていなかった ・ホテルから空港の送迎をお願いしましたが、かなりぼられました。  初めての海外一人旅だったので、タクシーで交渉したり行き先がわからなかったり間違えたりすると面倒なので、ホテルに直接お願いしましたが、ウーバーや現地で普通にタクシーを拾った方が断然安いです。(なので、ホテルでチップは特に渡しませんでした)  ここに宿泊する理由は、何といってもディネシュ先生の施術だと思うので、それが担保されるのであれば、また来たいと思います。

本格的なアーユルヴェーダ体験
4泊の滞在でしたが、身体がとても軽くなって夫婦共々驚いています。帰りの飛行機の後も、いつもの疲れを感じませんでした。 毎日、朝ヨガ+2時間程みっちりトリートメント+ベジタリアン3食(謎のハーブ煎じ薬付き)で結構本格的なので、それなりに気合のある方にお勧めです。トリートメントでは全身オイルや独特なハーブの粉に包まれ(顔も髪も含め)、数時間放置するように言われるので、結構あられもない姿になります。優雅なアロマオイルエステという感じではないのであしからず。私はこの手作り感満載のトリートメントがとても面白いと感じましたし、飾らない自然の恵みをそのまま身体に吸収している感じが心地よかったです。 ドクターもスタッフの方も皆さん真面目に対応してくれるので安心でした。 なお、お部屋では常時アリが探検していたので、苦手な方は対策品を持っていかれるといいかと。

エアコンありとなしの部屋があることに要注意
アーユルヴェーダの診察、その結果に基づくトリートメントと食事。これらが全て宿泊費に込みとなっているホテル。朝はヨガを1時間ほどやります。 緑に囲まれ、静かな環境で一人でのんびり、健康と向き合いながら過ごすにはとても良いホテルです。 問題点は予約時にエアコンありとなしの部屋があることを明確に知ることができなかったこと。4月下旬のスリランカでエアコンなしで過ごすのはあまりに過酷。到着してからエアコンなしの部屋を予約したらしいということがわかり、交渉してエアコンありの部屋に変えてもらいました。この辺をわかりやすくして欲しいです。

Nice hotel and a good experience of Ayurveda
The room is very nice and clean. Although there was no air conditioner, but we didn't feel hot. The staffs were helpful. There was yoga class in the morning and we could enjoy the Ayurveda treatment in the afternoon. The treatment was so comfortable! The food in the restaurant was tasty, however, it only served veggie food.

Nice hotel, but suited to spa interested and very health conscious only.Would chose Jetwings' beach hotel next time (Jetwings Blue Negombo)
