スタッフはとても親切、部屋も清潔で快適に過ごせました。ロケーションは街には少し遠いですが、歩ける距離でした、20分ほどです、暗いと歩きにくいかもしれません。 ルーフトップからの眺めも良く、そこでいただく朝食もフルーツたっぷり、卵料理も好みで作ってくれました。 皆さんにお勧めしたいです。

Pretty average property - room was clean although towels were not. Seemed to be very short on staff so service was not great. Breakfast was average. Also up a private road which is tricky to find and not safe to walk in the dark. Appreciate you get what you pay for and it was fine for one night, but definitely did not live up to the reviews for me.

Loved our stay in Kandy, this hotel was so comfortable and so accommodating. The shower was amazing, I slept so well on the bed, even excellent pillows! The breakfast was also outstanding, we were sad to leave the hotel to go on to our next destination!

It is hidden gem. Excellent service for cheaper price. Selvaraj, Kingsley and Gegath are great people and helped on anything. Food is great. Would recommend to anyone wants to stay in Kandy.

I'm so glad I found this unique place that felt like our private tower in Kandy. The name actually lives up to the hotel. The rooms and halls are spacious and airy, the balcony with breakfast tables and lots of space for exercising and enjoying the mountain view... A walk to the lake nearby is like a mini safari: bats, iguanas, ducks, fish and turtles entertain your morning. The comfort, aesthetics and stuff are great. I'd come back here.

Excellent service et petits déjeuners. Nous avons choisi la version Sri Lankaise et chaque matin nous avions la chance de découvrir un nouveau plat. Les employés sont très gentils et professionnels. La chambre était confortable et nous avons aimé la très grande fenêtre et le petit balcon ensoleillé le matin.

Great hotel with great staff!
This was a very lovely stay with a helpful staff! We never saw any other guests, though think there might have been some, but we ate breakfast alone, and they made it specially for us. we didn’t mind that though, and actually kind of liked having the place to ourselves. “Uncle” who runs the place, helped us a lot with transport that had been hard to figure out for ourselves! He also kept the monkeys away from our breakfast table after one monkey sneakily stole a toast. The place might have seen better days, but with more guests this place could be a real gem! All in all, we really enjoyed our stay!

The owners were very accommodating. There were issues with the tv and the outlets, but the owner resolved the problems quickly. A very nice rooftop view for breakfast. This property is definitely worth the value.

Muy bien
El hotel está muy bien y la relación calidad precio es muy buena. Nosotros nos alojamos en la habitación familiar con baño privado fuera de la habitación, la calidad es inferior a las otras habitaciones del hotel (no está reformada) pero también se adecua el precio a ésto. Las camas muy cómodas. Nuestro amigos se alojaron en las habitaciones dobles y eran estupendas, reformadas tanto la habitación como el baño. El desayuno era estupendo, en la terraza del edificio. La ubicación es buena, en el lago, cerca de la parte más céntrica de la ciudad (a unos 10-15 minutos andando por el lago) y sin el bullicio de las calles del centro. El personal fue muy amable con nosotros y nos dieron alguna recomendación de horarios en festivo sobre lo que queriamos ir a ver. Sin duda, lo recomiendo.

Great location, top service!
King of Kandy is a fantastic place to stay. The manager is a lovely gentleman, always happy to assist or provide advice. As they were quiet because of the timing of my trip I was upgraded free of charge. The food was fantastic, a lovely spread for breakfast and I would recommend eating dinner there. The roof terrace restaurant has a superb view of Kandy especially for Poya. The location is great but is up a short but steep hill so you would need to be mobile or get a tuk tuk up. Guests can use the pool at the neighbouring Suisse Hotel for a small fee. I highly recommend stay at King of Kandy when you are in Kandy.

Wir waren 2 Nächte dort und sehr begeistert. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man hat uns bei all unseren Fragen zur Stadt geholfen und auch ein Tuk Tuk organisiert für unsere Weiterreise. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber. Die Speisekarte ist lecker und vielfältig; sie reicht von sri-lankischen Gerichten wie Khottu bis zu einfachen Sandwiches. Das Hotel ist in der Nähe des Zentrums, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind einfach zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es gibt nichts worüber wir uns beschweren könnten.

Clean and nice room. Kind staff and great view from the rooftop. It is not right in the city Centre, but a small walk or a drive with a tuktuk for 200 to get there.

Manager was very helpful...feed us 10 o'clock at night and also made sandwiches to go next day for our train journey. Staff excellent and breakfast really nice too. Very close to Kandy lake and can take a stroll there. Also arranged for tuktuk to take us to train train station.

A pleasant stay
Had a pleasant stay here. Service is as expected. The hotel location is steps away from Kandy lake which is great. Staff is helpful as I was helped with booking a driver who drove me to all must see places. Basic breakfast.

Clean, comfortable and great breakfast
I loved staying here. The room and bathroom were pristine clean. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really delicious on a nice rooftop setting. The TV doesn't have many channels but the wifi works ok. Location is slightly hard to find if on foot but only 15 min walk into central Kandy. Would stay again.

Highly recommend
The hotel sits on the hill side and has a fantastic view of the lake of Kandy. It's quiet and the internal decoration is very nice. It's easy to access the temple of tooth relic from the hotel. The host is nice to us as well.

The owner is a very kind man. He was very accommodating as was the staff. They serve great meals and even helped me secure travel to Ella. The one thing I'd note is I paid extra to have a mountain view hotel room, which in all honesty does not look out toward the mountain. It is far right of the balcony. Otherwise a wonderful stay!

Stay here!
This guesthouse is wonderful! The rooms are spotlessly clean, with a very comfy bed and powerful hot showers. Great location close to the lake, easily walkable into the centre of Kandy, and some good places to eat nearby in the evening too. Tasty and very generous breakfast is served on the roof terrace, with lovely views down over Kandy. The best thing about King of Kandy is undoubtedly the owner and staff who made us very welcome and helped us to arrange transport/activities from Kandy. They arranged a day trip to Sigiriya and Dambulla which was very good value for money (and in a super fancy A/C minivan!) our driver Harith was fab! He was so helpful and professional, and went above and beyond to make our trip work! Would 100% recommend staying here!

Not easy to find. The room was a reasonable size and the bed comfortable but the bathroom was very small. The breakfast was the usual fruit plate and eggs etc. The restaurant was located on the second floor and was outdoor but covered which meant it was a little chilly as it was raining at the time. Overall reasonable value for money in that location

what a fantastic hotel, the owners & staff are brilliant they can’t do enough for you, the food is among the best i’ve eaten around the world, it’s that good i stayed an extra few nights, would i stay here again? 100% yes, thank you all & hope to see you again

Great place to eat for fresh Sri Lankan food
Close to the lake. Food was freshly cooked by an experienced Sri Lankan chef and excellent value.

Ett litet hotell med olika rum. Vi hade det bästa kan jag förstå. Måste orka gå i trappor och uppför en lång backe. Fanns frukost som var lite lite.

Incredible oasis in Kandy!!!
What a place - clean, quiet, homely, close to center, great hosts, amazing home cooked breakfast. Home away from home!!!

Old fashioned owner-run business. Excellent.
The location was excellent. Deluxe rooms were very nice and great for the price. The biggest asset for this accom is the owner and his staff. Extremely helpful and pleasant.
