This is where the owner directly manages and does his best. I am satisfied with the price. It is also close to major tourist attractions.I want to use it again.

We just stayed 2 nights at this lovely property. The property was clean, the rooftop pool was great to cool down in the heat. The bedrooms are clean and modern, excellent beds and bedding. The only let down was the drainage smell in the bathroom. WiFi was intermittent. We would stay here again. Staff and the owners were all lovely and friendly. In a good location, within 15 minute walk to the tooth relic temple and kandy lake.

I liked this hotel. Staff were kind, the pool was good, spacious room, dinner at the restaurant was yummy. Good location close to the city centre and walking distance to lots of restaurants so good value for price. My only complaint was that there was a temple nearby that played music very loudly - all 3 nights I stayed it woke me up at 5am blaring. I’m not sure if this was a common occurrence or not and it’s not anything to do with the hotel per se but may have impacted my decisions

Truely excellent hotel - it is much better than 3 stars. The staff are friendly and helpful, the place is super clean with really top quality bedding. Food in the restaurant is good and fairly priced and the rooftop pool is fun for a quick dip. The hotel works well towards being environmentally friendly. The loction is just outside of the main city centre - an easy walk to the city or lake, a short tuk tuk to the botanical gardens and there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

We liked the view from our room to the city centre of Kandy. Beds were really cozy and the bathroom was clean. The staff was friendly and tried to help us the whole stay long. Nevertheless I need to say that the room was poorly soundproofed. We were able to hear the sound of the mosque for praying a couple of times per day (starting 5 am in the morning!). I know this is a cultural thing, but the room could still be more isolated. Additionally the furnishing was quite old and the wallpaper came off. An extra problem was that directly on the first day someone burst into the room without knocking. This is not acceptable at all!

Välstädat, rent och snyggt hotell. Poolen på taket är inte stor men är väldigt skön att ta ett svalkande dopp i efter en promenad i värmen. Maten i restaurangen är bra och väldigt prisvärd.

Lovely hotel, would come again
We really enjoyed our stay at Sevana City. All the staff were very friendly and helpful including the restaurant. The food was good and fair prices. The room was clean and bed was comfy. Only comment would be some more space to put toiletries in the bathroom. Free water filter was very helpful. Nice outside area for lounging or dip in pool. Good location for getting to main sights by foot. We ate at ‘mystery meat’ just opposite the hotel which was also good. The hotel kindly organised a guide for a day trip to Sigiriya from why not getaways…Rehan was BRILLIANT and we would recommend him to anyone!!

素晴らしいホテルでした
仏歯寺へのアクセスもいい。そしてホテルのスタッフも親切でとても清潔感があり、キレイでいうことのないほてるでした。ホテル内のレストランも美味しく、お財布に優しい価格でした。屋上のプールから見る景色もとてもキレイです。キャンディに行く時はこちらのホテルを利用します。

This is a well located hotel in the centre of town which I found okayish for an overnight stay. I had a deluxe room but it’s a big stretch to call it that. It was more like a backpacker standard place. Shower had poor pressure. But the bed was comfy and clean. I wouldn’t say never again, but I think I’d try somewhere else next time to be honest. If you get it at a cheap price then fair enough id say

Sevana City Hotel Kandy was in a great location and 5 minutes from the train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Had my bags taken to my room when l arrived and as l went somewhere on a tour for a few days l was able to leave my bag for a few days. Breakfast was great on the rooftop with a staff member who always smiled and brought my tailored breakfast

Great hotel, good city location yet quiet rooms.
Great stay! Rooms were clean, comfortable with great beds and pillows and great air conditioner. Nestled right in the city, but also very quiet in the room. Step out the front door and you are in a bustling area with all the conveniences. Super helpful and friendly staff! Would stay again!

Genügendes Hotel aber nicht für lange Zeit... Top: - Wasserspender (Gratis) in Lobby - nahe am Zentrum - Gutes eigenes Restaurant (Morgen- und Nachtessen) - kleiner Pool, aber ohne Liegen - freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal Flop: - sehr ringhörig (Strassenlärm & andere Gäste) - keine Nachtvorhänge (sehr früh dunkel) - allgemeine Infrastuktur herunter gekommen --> Fenster im Zimmer 604 lassen sich nicht schliessen. Wichtig: In der unmittelbaren Nähe befindet sich eine Mosche. Der Gesprechsgesang dieser Moschee ertönt um 0450 Uhr über die Aussenlautsprecher. Da das Hotel so Ringhörig ist, erwacht man ziemlich sicher. Wir haben dies mit Ohropax gelöst. Sollte aber im Urlaub auch nicht sein.

It was an excellent deal for the price. The hotel is almost right in the middle of the city. The room is clean and spacious. View from the room was also nice (I got the city view room with two queen beds.) The staff are very friendly. The TV didn't work (i.e. no channels), but I was also chromecast into it. There was free WiFi, but the speed was not that great. Didn't use the pool or at-facility dinning. If you are driving, you better call the hotel to figure out the parking option. The parking for the hotel is not at the same address as the hotel. We didn't drive.

スタッフはとても親切で、ドライヤーが常備されていないためフロントに言うと快く貸してくれました。朝食は最上階で洋食。すごく丁寧なおじさんがあれやこれやとボリューム満点の朝食を出してくれました。ただ一点、部屋の鍵がとても頼りなく、蹴飛ばしたら扉ごと取れてしまいそうです(笑)駅やバス乗場から近く、立地がとてもいいです。

2023年4月、スリランカ旅行の際に利用。 翌朝、Kandy 駅から列車に乗る予定だったので駅まで歩けるこちらのホテルを利用。 実際に徒歩10分もかからずに Jandy 駅に行ける。徒歩圏内に、ローカルマーケットやショッピングセンターもあり食事や買い物には困らない。 ホテル周辺には飲食店もたくさんあり不自由なことはない。 難点と言えば、ホテル前の道路が日中は交通量が大変多いので反対側に渡るには覚悟が必要。 ホテルの最上階(7F)にレストランがある。朝食もこちらで摂ることになる。プールもあるが誰も入らないと思う。 部屋の防音性は高くない。ドアと廊下の間がしっかり隙間が空いているなで近くの部屋で騒いでいる音が夜によく聞こえた。 ホテルのアメニティは、石鹸とシャンプーのみ。冷蔵庫や電子レンジはもちろんのこと、テレビもないしドライヤーもない。Wi-Fiは夜には繋がらなくなった。 鉄道を利用するために、寝るだけの場所として考えれば再利用もあり。

This place is far too expensive for what it is. It really does not look like the photos especially the pool area which is tired looking and not inviting. The air con remote in the room did not work and neither did the tv. There was no toilet paper. It should be about half the price it is

Very helpful, friendly and service minded staff. Nice rooms with perfect view over Kandy. Close to train station (we walked) and other things to see in Kandy. Nice pool that we got for our selves, and breakfast was also nice. We wish we stayed for another day!

Great location, friendly staff always available, large room with comfy bed and good bathroom. The only thing that the hotel needs is a lick of paint
