Clean, safe, and worth your money.
This is a very nice stay right on the beach. The staff is very attentive and kind. The food is outstanding. Our only issue was a broken ac unit which they offered to switch us rooms. Overall I would recommend this wonderful small hotel.

5 Star Hotel with Personal Service
Superb service and amazing views. Makes your stay feel like a 5 star resort but still provides a personal service. The food is amazing. No need to leave the hotel to go to any other restaurants.

Незабываемый отдых
Мы с супругой достаточно тщательно выбирали отель для отдыха в Хиккадуве. В результате остановили свой выбор на Villa 46 и очень рады что наш выбор оказался правильным. Мы провели на вилле восемь незабываемых дней. Вилла расположена в непосредственной близости к пляжной зоне, океан виден из окна. Персонал был очень доброжелателен и прекрасно выполнял свою работу. Пару раз просили приготовить для нас блюда из свежей рыбы и моллюсков, которые мы самостоятельно купили на местном рыбном рынке, качество и вкус блюд было выше чем в других ресторанах. Волей случая в этот период времени на вилле мы были одни и чувствовали себя очень комфортно. Все сложилось наилучшим образом.

Beautiful property, amazing staff, superb chef and great seafood! Perfect for a peaceful romantic getaway and partner’s bday celebration! You can hear the waves at night, very calming and relaxing. Great pool where you can order drinks and food, unwind and relax, forget about the hassle and completely disconnect. Could not recommend this Villa 46 more! The owner is ex captain for Sri lanka cricket team!;) Great provenance. 2,5 hour drive in uber from Colombo airport.

Enjoyable Villa and staff in Sri Lanka
This was just wonderful place to stay . The location on the beach is good and there is enough distance to Hikkaduwa touristic beach. The beach in the front of this Villa was very peaceful and clean. Waves are big sometimes and need to be careful when and how far away go swimming. Villa 46's staff is simply said great , especially the great chef /manager who made wonderful dinners every evening. Also the entire staff was great and very polite. Mr. Colin is one great person and he is the corner stone for maintenance and service at the hotel. All people were very friendly and committed to every requests we made. Sometimes adjusting the air condition for the next night to the suitable level was challenging. But finally succeeded. That was simply due to hot climate outside. Breakfast was delicious and excellent. I must say that we stayed missing those wonderful people after leaving this Villa. They were simply great people - all of them. And manager is very smart to create such an atmosphere among the staff.

Boutique hotel with 5 star service
This was the best hotel during our 2 week trip to Sri Lanka. Why it was so good was that first of all it is small and very excluded. You are right at the beach with a big pool but still never bothered by anyone. We had a pool room which was very big and comfortable (very good Bed). Every day there was figures made out of towels on our bed and everything was super clean. And then the food... you are served a la carte breakfast right outside of your room and everything is so tasty! In the end, we had almost every lunch at the hotel and every dinner also since the quality was so much better than in the Hikkaduwa restaurants, and price lever the same. Also, you cannot find better service anywhere else. If you want to stay in a place where you can relax and enjoy 5 star service and food, this would be the place!

Fantastic, beautiful and relaxing hotel
We are so happy we decided to stay at villa 46 for our babymoon. The hotel is amazing with its relaxing setting and fantastic staff. Usually we go out to new restaurants when travelling but we ended up eating all 5 dinners at the villa and also some lunches. The chef was great and my favourite dish was the grilled jumbo prawns and my husband loved the Sri Lanka rice and curry. One night he prepared a full seafood platter for us which was amazing! Breakfast was also very fresh and tasty. The villa is situated at a calmer part of the beach and therefore very relaxing. The sea is a bit rough, you can go swimming but take it easy. The pool at the hotel is very nice. Since the hotel only has 4 rooms it is a very friendly atmosphere. We stayed at a room with balcony. The room was big and cool and had everything we needed. If possible I would recommend one of the balcony rooms. We could have stayed longer and if we ever go back to Sri Lanka we will definitely stay at villa46. We have nothing to complain about regarding this fantastic hotel with its amazing people working there. All our recommendations to everyone thinking about staying here

Amazing peaceful oasis in Hikkaduwa
We spent three nights at Villa46 as a closure of our two-week Sri Lanka trip. Could not have chosen any better place. The Villa is absolutely peaceful refuge with an incredible beauty of the ever-crushing waves, sunrise and sunset. The service is thoughtful, the food is BRILLIANT, beyond words. This is the perfect place to find your I hope I can return one day.

Supertrevligt ställe, lugnt och stilla. Passar bra för par då hotellet endast har fyra rum. Känns som att kliva in i en oas när man kommer in från den stökiga gatan. Rent och fräscht och jättetrevlig personal. Inte så bra strand att bada på då det är väldigt strömt och höga vågor, men poolen finns ju. Tar 30 minuter in till Galle Fort med Tuktuk som är en jättemysig by med trevlig shopping och bra restauranger

Great place, great staff!
Great 6 nights at Villa 46 the staff are attentive and go to great lengths to make sure you are enjoying your stay! Great position that allows you to enjoy the tranquility of the villa or head in to a more lively Hikkaduwa which is a 20min walk down the beach. Wish the owner had been as interested as his staff but apart drain that a very enjoyable stay!

Everything about this hotel was great! Beautiful rooms and views, lovely pool area and great food. The staff went out their way to help with any questions/requests, such as a special dinner and private breakfast on the balcony. Gavika was very sweet and helpful. The added touch of animals made from towels each day from Colin was lovely. Location is just outside the busy strip in Hikkaduwa which is perfect for a quieter stay.

fantastic spacious and comfortable accommodation in relaxing surroundings. all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. food was excellent and reasonably priced. 9/10-would have given 10/10 if the room had a fridge.

Beautiful hotel on the beavh
Arrived at hotel staff extremely friendly, taken to our beautiful room, there was an elephant made from towels with the word ‘welcome’ on our bed which we thought was a brilliant touch, intact we stayed 4 nights and each afternoon when we went back to our room there was another ‘towel animal’ on our bed, we loved it. Delicious breakfasts, staff cannot do enough for you, we would highly recommend it. Some good bars and restaurants a little walk down the beach If you fancied but hotel food impeccable.

Hotellets slogan "beyondwords" stämmer verkligen in. Precis allt är helt underbart. Fantastiskt service och den vänliga personalen gör allt för att din vistelse ska bli underbar. We loved this hotel as it gave us a great feeling of being close to the beach but a bit off from the cities. The service was excellent and I'd recommend this hotel to everyone who'd like to visit Sri Lanka and stay a bit private and relaxed.

paradise in hikkaduwa
This hotel was one of the best decisions we made. It's away from the traffic in Hikkaduwa, but close enough for a short walk or cheap tuk tuk ride into town. It's a small hotel, so you're never crowded by other guests. The views are spectacular, looking over the pool and sea. The food was better than anything we ate in town. We ended up eating almost all of our meals at the hotel, and we're never disappointed. The food was also well priced. The rooms are spacious as are the bathrooms. The staff were very courteous and attentive, but not hovering. They were very helpful and kind, and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. I cannot recommend this location enough.

The hotel is beautiful, huge rooms, furnished perfectly, abundance of space to relax within the villa, perfect pool. Above all the staff are incredible-the attention to detail is outstanding. In particular the chef who went above and beyond for us, we are beyond thankful, he made our trip. Highly recommend this villa and will hopefully return in the future

Beautiful villa in great location
Pros + Amazing view and beautiful villa, spacious rooms + Rooms on second floor have more privacy than the ones on first floor + Staff at hotel is so very friendly, especially we want to thank Malindu for being so nice to us + Nothing was too much trouble for staff + Food was superb, especially enchilladas + Location near Hikkaduwa was perfect; it was possible to walk by the beach to all restaurants and bars + Beach was very clean everywhere in the area + Overall ambience of Hikkaduwa was really relaxed, not too much packed with tourists + Surf at Narigama beach/reef (1,5km walk by the beach) was good but can get really crowded even in the early morning (at 6am). Narigama was more for advanced surfers. Improvement ideas - Introduction when arriving could have had more info of room and villa - Cocktails available in bar would have been nice - Minibars in rooms or a shared refrigerator at lobby area - It might be a good idea to add a bell so that you could ring for staff because sometimes it was hard to find anyone - Service was a bit slow in western standards - Food was not as spicy as we usually like so it's better to ask for them to add some if you like spicy food - They missed to arrange us an airport pick-up even when we requested it multiple times. We arrived late in the evening and the pick-up wasn’t there. They helped us with taxi after a call but pre-fixed would have been easier since late in the evening the taxi area at the airport was a bit scary.

Fantastisk hotel
Fantastisk hotel, nyt, rent og komfortabelt. Selve hotellet med kun 4 værelser føles som ren afslapning og luksus. Hotellets ansatte er super venlige og maden smager rigtig godt. Servicen var i top og de opfyldte endda ekstra ønsker. Værelset er kæmpe stort med et super lækker badeværelse, specielt bruseren er en oplevelse for sig. Hotellet er placeret ved stranden og i gå afstand til Hikkaduwa strand. Perfekte sted til at slappe af, nyde solnedgangen og i døgnet 24 timer lytte til bølgerne. 5/5!

A beautiful villa a step away from the city hustle
This was a gorgeous place to stay for my girlfriend and I. We had a beautiful room with a balcony that looked right out to the sea over the villa's gorgeous pool and backyard. The staff was so kind. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was delicious. It's a short tuk tuk ride from the down town area of Hikkaduwa, but it's nice to have a little peace and quiet here at this beautiful villa. I would definitely recommend it.
