The staff both in hotel and dining room were extremely helpfull , food excellent room modern and very clean Overall i can recommend and would stay again if in Melbourne

There was no lift to the rooms. Difficult for older people to negotiate 20 stairs with their luggage. The shower was pathetic. No matter how much you turned the taps pn there was no pressure.

You get what you pay for and this was an easy and fine place for us to stay for the night and close to where we needed to be. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is not well signed, it is actually the St Albans Hotel club so is above the local 'club'. Due to this, is noisy into the night. The hotel parking was limited as the club patrons seem to try and park as close as they can to the front door. There is a substantial car park next to the building for patrons and hotel guests can use this as well. There are security cameras but I felt less safe parking there. The room itself was fine, with everything we needed. The TV's and beds were excellent. The hotel is so close to amazing food.

The room was not like the photo. Then, we were questioned, had to pay a bond in case we wrecked the room.

You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. The room was clean but the people in the other rooms were quite noisy and each time a guest left or returned to their room, every noise echoed down the hall and I suspect this is common issue. There is even signs in the rooms saying “if it’s noisy to call a number”. The other issue was I assume one of the guest was smoking in the bathroom nearby and that smell travelled into our bathroom. So, my advice is remember “you get what you pay for” and if you want a better experience, pay extra and stay elsewhere.

Perfect one night stay

One night stop over to see family. This hotel was just right although I spent little time there. But I found it to be clean and comfortable. Checking in was quick and easy and I parked directly in the front and could see the car from the room. I had one “tv problem” and the staff were quickly at the door and fixed my mistake. All in all a good place for a stop over

Room was big and comfortable, only thing what was needed was a window in main room which could be opened to let some fresh air in.

My stay was pleasant overall. Check-in by the Manager was quick and accommodating. Room was overall fine & secure, bed was soft and comfy, bathroom cleanliness could do with a little more attention. Bistro staff were very friendly and my food order was excellent.

Very limited local dining options, especially breakfast. Room was clean and tidy but showing it's age. Tapping noise in the ceiling kept me awake from 0415.

Massive room . But . Upon entering their was a malteser on the floor and a long life milk , also a cleaning brush in the sink . No hot water in the shower . 2 split systems didn’t work . Food ok . Location 10 . Property needs maintenance

The manager argued with me for half an hour at 2am in the morning. My plane had been cancelled and I was there for some sleep with my 14 year old daughter. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

It was convenient to where we wanted to go. The room was satisfactory, carpet could be cleaned better but, bed was very comfortable & the shower was wonderful & the manager & staff very accomodating !
