Very noisy. The people in the other room beside me partied till 2:30 am. Disappointed in the food. I had ordered a steak and asked it to be medium well done and I received a steak that was not cooked and a lot of fat that I could not eat. My food was cold by the time it came to the table. I stay in Saint Andrews at quite a few places. This is my first time at the Kennedy and the last. I understand it’s an older hotel, but it does need some upkeep. The redo of the restaurant is very nice.

We were looking for a nice quiet place to spend the weekend and the Kennedy House provided this. Very charming and a great restaurant.

THE LOCATION IS INCREDIBLE. This property is right in the middle of the downtown and there is a super cute coffee shop right down the street to make your mornings even better! The only reason I gave 4 stars for the service is because check in is not available at all hours. The property did try to call to inform me but I was travelling in the states so I did not receive the call and showed up around 2300 at night. The man still came to the door and checked me in, but be mindful of this If you plan on arriving late. It is the oldest hotel in the area and it shows so much character but be mindful that it looks it age. This is not meant to knock the property, just don't expect it to look modern. Overal, I loved my stay here and I was able to leave my car in the parking lot for the following day while I toured the town. Highly recommend staying here!

Kennedy House
The room was lovely and large and the hotel has a very good restaurant for casual food. You have to venture out for breakfast but we found a couple of excellent choices nearby.

Location, Location, Location
Room 100 is very nice in that it offers a private balcony overlooking Main St. and the ocean. It was very clean and well appointed. There is even an elevator. You absolutely MUST try the Belgian poutine in the restaurant downstairs. The best poutine that I have ever eaten. Paul is the star there. Friendly, helpful, and kind. He checked us in as well as served during dinner. On the minor side, a pedestal sink makes operating in the bathroom difficult. I get the time relevance, but I just don't like those things.

The old character of the place is what I enjoyed the most. Not being given the room I booked and paid for with a balcony in the front was the upsetting part. Only two rooms have the balcony and I wanted that to be our trip there but instead got a room on the side and couldn't check into the room until well after check in time. Never got a discount or a mention of the mix up by the two gentleman running the place as well. Not happy about the problem never being talked about to us.

Staff very friendly. Check in very efficient. There was no air conditioning and the wifi did not reach our room, which is not great with a teenager.

Our room was above some ports potties. Couldn’t open our windows because of the smell. Limited parking for the hotel. Restaurant wasn’t open at 8am for breakfast. Tv was smaller than our home computer monitor. Basic place to stay.

This is a hotel with a lot of charm located perfectly on the main street, convenient to many restaurants, the wharf, and the supermarket. Despite this it was surprisingly quiet, we barely heard any noise from the street or other guests in the hotel. The room was well appointed and the window A/C worked very well. However, there were three major issues. First, they have 24 rooms but only 10 parking spaces - you do the math. Second, the bed was extremely uncomfortable - it was way too soft in the middle. Our butts seemed a foot lower than our heads in bed. Finally, the WiFi was hard to connect to - it seemed to connect on our iPhones and iPads but did not complete the connection until the next morning. After that it worked fine and the speed was good. My Steam Deck never connected though - it timed out after a couple of minutes do never made it in - the iOS devices seem happy to wait forever, which they practically did. Also the shower temperature occasionally fluctuates, it gets cold for 30 seconds a few times during a 10 minute shower. You can tell it’s happening though so can avoid the cold water until it recovers. It’s a cute place though, so if the above issues (especially the bed) don’t bother you it’s a nice place to stay.

Close to everything, the bathroom was not very clean, no recycling, but I don’t think the township does any recycling.

It was perfect toy located in the center of town, so walking was perfect. Our room was located at the very end of the building and had no air conditioning, so we had to open the windows and the noise was quite annoying during the late hours. However, we would definately stay there again, but ask for another room. Other than that, the Inn was beautiful.

Loved the location and the history of it. The owner was lovely and helpful. Absolutely loved huge balconies (common area) on the 2nd floor. It also had a sweet library that I wish I had had time to use!
