During our 2 night stay, we desperately tried to think of at least 1 positive thing we could say about this motel, however, we could not. We booked our reservation online, and after a 9 hour drive, we were told they had no record of our reservation and had no rooms available. The owners didn't speak English well, and had their young daughter (early teens) translate. According to them, booking through a 3rd party doesn't always come through to their system immediately...I booked a week in advance, and have used Travelocity numerous times over the years and have never had any issues. Because I showed the email confirmation from Travelocity, they gave us a room we called "The Leftover Room"...the first thing was the odor, and it was unbelievable, there was very little space for our 2 bags much less anything else, the bathroom seemed recently renovated but not quite finished, windows were painted shut, mini blinds falling off the wall, dead flies in the bathroom, the plumbing is reversed and very unpredictable (scalding to ice in seconds), no space in the bathroom for toiletries or a place to put a towel or clothing, and the floor was sticky, free wifi but they won't give the password to actually use it, the pool was completely covered in black slime, it is pet friendly but beware of the owners 3 very large and very loud German Sheppards which they allow to run free without leashes, cable tv until late at night when you're dropped to only 12 channels from approximately 60.
