Thank you Shane for your feedback. Your key to your lodge room only opens, the corridor door and your specific lodge room....it does not interact with any other room in the wing you stayed in. They are all keyed differently. As far as the rules, they are simple...I'm not open 24 hours a day, so please don't lock yourself out; no smoking or fish cleaning in the lodge rooms or cabins; lastly check out is by 10 AM. We verbally review these with each individual guest so there is no misunderstanding. I would suggest future reservations you contact us at 800-346-6533 so I may ensure you are in an appropriate lodge room or cabin. Thank you again

I knew upon your arrival that you weren't going to be satisfied and nothing I was going to be able to do for you, You choose to make the reservation and if you had any questions, you may have contacted me. First of all the beds are new in every cabin. Second of all you never even went to the pool to swim as no one was in it and the size of the pool is sufficient for the size our business. We don't advertise we are near the Lake but only 4.5 miles to the center of town where the water is. Lastly, when you made the reservation for 2 Adults and 2 Children, it only charged you for 2 adults - children who are 16 years of age are considered at full rate which I did not make the change - to accommodate you. I suggest when you make further reservations, to contact the facility to see if it is suitable for your family. Amazing how other guests rate totally different than your experience and I realize I cannot make everyone happy.

I'm sorry you ruined your weekend. Upon your son's arrival I gave him the keys to the cabin without you being here so the grandmother didn't have to wait in his vehicle for your arrival. You never bothered to check in at the office and went directly to the Cabin. I also invited you to the office 3 times prior to your departure and only saw you after retrieving the clothes you left in the cabin. At which time, I took a verbal lashing from you and not talking over you. The grandmother came inside the office at this time and never used the lobby bathroom. My departure time for everyday is 10:00 am including Sunday's. The office normally doesnt open until 11:30 am however I opened early for this past Sunday, and you were too busy yelling to listen what I had to say. Not one other guest had any issues and if you were so unhappy, you had every opportunity to come see me. I won't further justify your actions, rather than to say, you also are not a welcome guest.

We are not sure why we received this negative review. Per our records this lady originally made the reservation via Expedia, however, she called our lodge on 10/20/2019 to cancel her reservation which we did on our end. She was informed that she needed to cancel through Expedia also so as not to be charged. On 10/24/2019 she called to confirm her reservation at which time we re-informed her that she had cancelled on 10/20 with us and that the lodging had been filled. Our staff then went out of our way to find her another place to stay that had a cancellation and would hold for her until 1pm. We never heard back from her until this review.
