They do not have king size beds, there was a dog barking a lot of the night even after notifying the front desk. The it was hot in the room and we could not control the temperature in the room.

Customer service was great- Grey (or Greg?) was so friendly. The room was spacious, but there was a note on the door indicating that the carpet was damp - I presume from cleaning. But it was more than damp- it was just plain wet. There was no soap in the room (I had to go back down to the front desk and retrieve some). The bedding had numerous holes in it and was clearly worn. There were other significant signs of wear and tear in the room, including a very leaky bath faucet when you showered. I had a comfortable enough stay for one night but I don’t think I would stay here again.

The rooms are good size and with supplies for your stay. There was a terrible smell coming from the garbage disposal which eventually went away.

The Sonesta was fine for a one night stay while traveling. But the overall feel was of a dorm rather than a hotel. It was okay but I wouldn’t choose them next time.

overall stay was good. floor could have been attended to a little better. The room was comfortable and fit our needs for the time we were there. The staff was friendly and very a tentative to our needs. We were pleased with our stay and will consider Sonesta Simply Suites for or future stays away from home.

Decent for the price
Check in was quick, received a friendly reception coming and going and the room itself was clean. Also the location is great with easy access to the highway, service station and McDonald's. Beware of the in-house grocery area though. The idea of having it is nice since there are no vending machines, and it is great that everything is provided on the "honor system" but everything is $3. Think of a small granola bar or a bag of fruit snacks the size of what you get in a box of packaged individual bags with maybe 8 pieces in each. Yeah, those were $3. Highway robbery! Pack your own snacks or make a run to Walmart.

Not the best experience
Greg at the front desk was so friendly. Unfortunately it was a late check-in and we didn't realize that the air conditioner wasn't working until we had unpacked and were getting into bed. We ran the fan and it did manage to cool down to 74 degrees in room 131. Also, the door to the bathroom would not shut due to warping or just being the wrong size.
