Middle of renovation, unknown when booked. Did not clean sidewalks promptly after snow quite--dangerous!

Good afternoon! Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I apologize we failed to meet your expectations. As you noted, we are currently undergoing a full renovation of the property. Your room location on the Terrace level was far from where any work was being done.The sidewalks were pre-treated prior to the snow and again later that afternoon. Again I apologize if this did not meet your expectations.

The property is old. Room we stayed needs new carpet, fresh paint. It does not reflect the area that is usually a high end area in St. Louis. I chooses this area because I know this area when I live here 27 years ago. I am somewhat disappointed.

Pleasant—will stay at Courtyard again
Check in was very quick and easy, room was spotless and incredibly comfortable, and my stay was overall quite pleasant. The halls were quiet, and I got a great night’s sleep.

It was under construction but it did not notice before on the website. My room was not done. The maids seemed to just stop servicing the rooms at a certain time. The hotel charged me more than the rate on their website.

Remodeling and entire property is not accessible. The hallway to our room was completely dark and just open rooms that were under construction. We had to park in the back of the hotel and walk in a back door that was not well lit. There were tarps hanging all around the inside and we did not feel safe. Rooms are beyond outdated so the renovation is needed.

We had a great stay great location, comfortable, nice location. The bed was the star of the show!! It is so hard to find a soft hotel bed this is it!!!

Clean and Comfortable
The check-in process was seamless and quick. The staff was friendly. The hotel lobby and hallways were clean and smelled good. My room was clean and at a comfortable temperature upon arrival. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were terrible, but I never expect hotel pillows to be comfortable.

Ok but not worth the upgraded price
It was good not great. Paid for a king with sofa. When I arrived they were going to put me in a 2 queen room. When I showed them the room I booked they put me in a handicap accessible king with no couch. Just a little disappointed

It was perfect! One of the best places I’ve stayed in a while. Even under construction it was clean and the updates are going to make it even better. This will be my go to hotel when I’m in this area. The beautiful courtyard makes you feel like more of a resort than a hotel.

Good pit stop
Using as a pit stop for a longer trip - check in was super fast and a breeze. Warned me about construction, but didn’t hear any of it, they put me on the 1st floor and renovation started at 9am on the 3rd floor. I was gone before that anyway. However, our room, you could tell was just recently renovated. Clean, bed and pillows were great- a little stuffy as the A/C was off - the bathroom still had a roll of painters tape, a pile of construction dust at the threshold from the room to the bathroom - and remnants of construction on the shower head and top of tub - plus the floor was dusty - like swept and clean, but not mopped. I didn’t mind, as it made me feel like home (I’m in construction) and luckily my wife was too tired to care or noticed.she was the ecstatic about how comfy the bed was. All and all a great nights sleep and if we ever drive through again - we’d stay there again.

Neat and tidy. Very clean. There was some construction happening on top floor which is positive for the future. It’s possible that the AC filter in our room needs to be replaced as I have a hypersensitivity to dust and developed a sinus infection over the course of three days. Could have been other allergens from trees pollen also. Other than that a great stay overall.

Horrible night will not do it again!
When we pulled in we were immediately met by another guest that told us not to stay there. They had been trapped on an elevator for an hr. When we checked in we were told the elevator was down and we asked if we could get a room on the 1st floor my boyfriend has a bad back and at 1st the clerk said yes and when handed our keys she said oh well we are super booked and we don't have anything on the 1st floor. We were shown on a map were our room was and in the middle of the map there was pool plain as day. So we were looking forward to that. We changed into our swimsuits and found pool was closed indefinitely. We later found that our key was supposed to have a note in it saying this but was not there.

Friendly, inviting staff!
The hotel was excellent! The grounds were well-maintained and lit. The place looked and smelled clean. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The check in process was extremely quick and thorough. The room was comfortable!

Nice people, Hotel is very outdated
This facility was exceptionally clean as one would expect from Marriott. However the room was sorely lacking on routine amenities. There was no Microwave, there were no USB ports in anything except the TV. Some rooms had lounge chairs on their balconies others did not. I did notice these chairs were in poor repair. The pool was closed and had a sign that said it was permanently closed. From my perspective, this facility was positively not worth the cost of the room. As I said, the place was clean, the staff was pleasant and the facility is in need of a major upgrade.

First they put us in a room without a sleeper sofa. The pool was closed indefinitely. The breakfast was expensive. There was no daily room service which meant if you were there for two days you had to ask for towels & coffee. It is sad that such a nice place fails to provide what is needed for a comfortable stay. Won’t stay here again!

Amenities are terrible
The hotel is cutting corners left and right. There is no housekeeping unless you stay for three nights - totally ridiculous at this price. In addition, the pool is permanently closed. They have a guest laundry that is not available, and they don't even have water for guests in the gym. Every hotel gym has water available except this one. Very cheap management.
