the property is located in a envy area, where the tours operators have shore tours, but the property is outdated. need more up to the times look, the rooms are ok, but they need some help. The restaurant is dying, dinner service is weak. had dinner and either was cold or overcooked, or maybe frozen taste. but needs help now. that could be a goldmine, but needs some TLC

The location of the hotel is excellent in terms of proximity to Castries, the Vigie airport and cruise terminal. It's located in a quiet area with great views.

it was adequate, had to ask for towels first day. no coffee in room, restaurant staff was slow but all staff was friendly. they even went and bought us a conversion plug for outlets. beautiful setting. close to ships and shopping mall-restaurants. clean rooms. management was wonderful. our airport drivers were the best, friendly and on-time.

This is a very basic, home grown hotel that charges way too much for what you get! The bed was hard, the bathroom was not clean or updated in any way. Shower leaked on the floor. Towels were small and rough. Tile floors didn't feel clean. This is a very tired property with multiple outlets that didn't work. Too many stairs that aren't safe. Not particularly helpful staff, loud music from a wedding reception. No soap in the bathroom.

Apparently like a lot of places in Castries, the first impression is a place that was last decorated in the 70s. But it has nice touches and charm - big rooms, a decent pool, close to the city and George Charles airport if you’re there for work and the WiFi works pretty well. It is a bit expensive, but that seems to be typical for St Lucia.

The hospitality was five star - Caius was wonderful, friendly, warm, welcoming and extremely helpful with all queries, resolving them swiftly and to a immaculately high standard. I will definitely stay again and recommend to friends/family!!!

The property is decent (not great). The room had a bad smell this time around and the service in the restaurant was quite poor. I ate at the restaurant on two occasions during my 1 night stay and was disappointed on both occasions with different staff. The front desk reception was ok but they need to train the rest of the staff. It was not good and I don’t recommend them anymore.

It is a small 22 room hotel within easy walking distance of downtown Castries. The staff will point out the short cut by the cruise ship terminal. It is quiet and clean with a nice view of the water. No beach but a nice pool. A frig and tea and coffee in the room. My favourite was the large balcony.

Very convenient to the airport. Lovely restaurant, open air and good food options. The room was comfortable and very clean.

Probably the best business hotel close to downtown Castries. Property dated but staff are excellent and rooms are clean. Good restaurant.

Hotel is very close to the city center that can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. It overlooks that bay where the cruise arrive. There are no restaurant at a walking distance especially at night when you do not want to be walking in the dark. The room was wide but with leakages in various point and overall in need of a renovation. I had to ask for soap that was not in the room.

It is conveniently located close to the airport in Castries but it is a long walk to any shops and the closest supermarket is at least a 20-minute walk. However there is a taxi driver located at the hotel

Was a very quaint little hotel. Nice pool and restaurant. Really neat tree out front with all the Egrits nesting. Castries isn't really a tourist town. So this place is great for stopovers. It's right by the smaller inter-island airport.

Good deal, depressing town
Good deal, clean, nice pool. Restaurant on premises, not much near by except “tourist mall”. Would not wander into town, other restaurants $25 taxi ride one way. Not impressed with the town of Castries

Close to the ship dock for the Windjammer
We stayed to board the windjammer cruise boat. Very close to the dock. Don't let the cab drivers bully you to purchase advance fare to the dock. It is only a 10 minute walk and we had roller bags. There is a mini fridge in the room and U reccomend buying some snacks and drinks before arriving, you can enjoy that by the pool. The air conditioning was good but noisy. My husband fixed that with wash clothes and cardboard. Everyplace on this end of the island is pricey, but the hotel was reasonable enough. $135 for the night. The mattress was hard, and I should have asked for an extra pillow, that usually helps me.

This hotel is a gem. Hidden away, still very centric. Great view. 10 min walk to the water taxi that will take you to the city center for only 5 USD. Would have been 5 stars f the restaurant had not had such a limited offer. Most of the things on the menu was not available. The things they actually had was ok tough. People with disabilities have to consider that this place has stairs everywhere.

Mosquito intrusion
the stay at the hotel wasn't so bad, but the bites from the MOSQUITOES were treacherous, gaps under the doors allowing them to come in, a pool of stagnant water great for breeding, definitely needed a mosquito net over my bed I have the bumps tp prove it. Other than that everything else was great.

2 weekend stays, between sailing on Mandalay. Room 302 ok, bathroom needs basic maintenance. Room 301 better, bathroom updated. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant very good. Easy walk to Coal Pot Restaurant and market.

Not close to the beach but overall a good deal.
Easy check in, good restaurant, nice view of the harbour. Not much around the hotel within walking distance. Clean, comfortable rooms

Our first room did not have the air conditioning on and it was stifling. It had a gorgeous view. There was also mold in the restroom. We were moved to a larger room and the view was ok. Bar staff were great! Hotel's location great for our boarding the barefoot sailboat - the Mandalay! We were able to walk with our luggage to board.

Disappointing
Hotel is difficult to find. Even our cabbie got lost. You have to come in from the back side along the airport. The room was marginal for cleanliness, and the telephone didn't work and it wasn't fixed. The biggest disappointment was the restaurant. It was billed as a seafood restaurant however, on two night we couldn't get our order and on one night there was no seafood of any kind!! On our way walking back from downtown, we passed a number of tables where fishermen were selling their catch?? On our last day, we walked around the bay to a wonderful restaurant just to the west of the hotel, right on the waters edge. We had a wonderful dinner. Wish we would have tried it earlier. On the positive, the hotel is about 400m from the cruise dock and the duty free stores. It is a relatively close walk to downtown. My guess is about a kilometre. There are all kinds of cabbies ready to give you a ride just outside the cruise dock or you can catch a little ferry that zips you across the bay. The market downtown is fantastic.
