The amenities, quality of food and service, rooms are all far from a 5 stars hotel. Very very expensive for what it is. Luckily the staff is very nice and friendly but we were very disappointed with the overall quality of the hotel.

Put in a handicapped room and we ARE NOT handicapped. Spa did not recognize our reservation and staff was very rude and demeaning, talk to the hand with attitude. Rained for 3 days and no umbrellas in our room. Shuttle service did not want to take us to our room upon check in until I offered to drive. Could not reach Aloro to order a pizza to pick up since mail box full, when called concierge would not contact restaurant instead told up to keep calling Aloro directly. Concierge would not shuttle us to Caribbean Fish market next door. The facility is a RINO Ritz in name only. Will never return. Sad since surroundings are beautiful. On to St Croix and St Bartz.

The hotel was very quiet . Thinking that is a island resort i will loved if it has a little vibe some music at the pool. Allore restaurant was ok but not was i was expecting as a restaurant at ritz. The last day of our staying I couldn’t use the bathroom because was a water leak from the ceiling

I paid ~1,500 per night for a room at the Ritz - a supposedly 5 star hotel. This is a 3 star hotel. The staff was friendly but the hotel itself is worn down and dirty. 5 star amenities are no where near this place. The food was of 3 star quality. Nothing about this place is 5 star. I’ve stayed in lux hotels all over the world this has been the worst. Based on this I wouldn’t stay at another Ritz…this hotel should lose its flag, be closed and revamped. If not don’t advertise as 5 star it’s 3 star at most. Again dirty, poor food, amenities are terrible, staff is nice but that it, they are slow u knowledgeable and not a lux experience. I never wrote reviews this is my first but need to share so other don’t waste their money. If I had paid 300/night I wouldn’t be upset, but 1,500 was a waste…..The Ritz corporate needs to visit this place….

Nice But Maze of Stairs are Tough
Spa is adequate, bar is best on the island, Italian restaurant Alloro is excellent, continental breakfast is excellent but expensive. Service is good property is well care for. No elevators up to the rooms access is difficult if you are older or out of shape. Also getting around property is a maze of stairs and ramps, after 3 days I still did not know my way around. Stairs are needed to get to every part of the property.

We had an amazing two nights stay at the Ocean Front room. The facilities at the Hotel is so good, we didn't find the need to go out. We enjoyed the Kayaking, Paddling, Indoor Pool, Private Beach. restaurants. Great Place to stay in St.Thomas. St.Thomas is very crowded and infrastructure is crumbling a lot, so place like Ritz Carlton has created a clean environment for visitors to enjoy the nice sun. Wish the price is little reasonable but given the outside environment, it's worth the ambience inside. I will try Ritz Carlton at some other places also as I have experienced very stay at St.Thomas

Conveniently located on the east side of the island. Quick access to the St John ferry. Beautiful view of St John from the pool / beach area. Great staff! Could use some evening entertainment. Very quiet on the resort after dinner.

Our stay was Absolutely wonderful!!! From arrival to departure and everything in-between was like a fairy tale since we were celebrating our Honeymoon. The staff , the grounds and the food was of the highest quality and we enjoyed EVERYDAY. Will Definitely be returning. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful experience

We absolutely loved the location of the ritz-carlton, however we expected more services, more inclusive options, and definitely more food option. We would've loved to have a tours and excursion included with our stay as well. Overall or stay was great but these few thing would have definitely made it an Amazing trip.

Highly recommended.... expensive but worth the price. We stayed for our honeymoon and everything was great from arrival to departure. We went mid September during the off season and loved that the resort wasnt overcrowded. Opt for the Club lounge the food and unlimited drinks are worth the extra money. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. The staff was beyond amazing!!!! Everyone was very pleasant and engaged, they really took time to get to know us and made sure our needs were met. One staff member even got us a honeymoon gift!!! A few ppl we want to highlight are Kimorah and Knoy at checkin; Jadisha, Jemar, Coronthia, Ruth and Shirley in the club lounge; Bellhops Bruce and Dani; Micheal at the front gate; Micah, Shawn and the water activities crew. Thank you all!!! We definitely plan to return.

We absolutely loved the property for our Mother Daughter trip! I would strongly recommend staying in a room with club access! Food and drinks included! Every staff member was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us! I can’t wait to go back!

Not a normal ritz Carlton experience. You walk up to them they stare at you as in “what do you want” no robes in room and if you order them there is a 2hour wait. Ordered champagne and cake for my husband’s birthday they delivered the champagnes with no glasses the cake came 3 hours later (said it wasn’t ready yet) I would not come back to this hotel unfortunately. I’d spend my money elsewhere

The property looks as if it will need a remodel in the near future. The bathroom was not fully cleaned from the previous guest. The steps and tile throughout the property was broken. Our room just never got super cool for us and we had to remove cover at night. The two beds in the hotel side are full beds NOT queen. It was way to small for my 6’7 partner. The adult pool was full of kids, I mentioned this to staff and was told there was nothing that could be done. The staff was amazing and always very helpful. I was a little disappointed in this being a Ritz Carlton. I saw very little difference in this than the average 4 star hotel chains…expected more.

This was the worst stay I’ve ever had at a Ritz property. It started with our room not being ready and waiting over 2 hours for it. I had my spa appointment cancelled by them. We had our dinner reservation canceled by them. Zero explanation or compensation. There was never any staff anywhere. Drinks took 40 minutes. Food took an hour. Never cups for water. I was attacked by an iguana on my lounger and no staff helped even though it displaced me from my things, my food and my drinks and I was clearly afraid. They have stray kittens all over the property which climbed on me while I was trying to relax and even while I was in a $600 cabana they were getting my food and scratching at my clothing. One had an infected eye and it ate my daughters French fries and I told the staff and they did nothing. It was the least relaxing and least pampered trip I have ever taken. I would never come back here. While I was checking in someone was complaining about their stay and now I see why. I even went to check out and talk to someone and no one was around. The woman in front of me said she had been waiting for over 20 minutes and not one person had been at the desk. So I threw my keys on the desk and left to get my plane. Perfect end to a completely unremarkable trip. I’d love your CEO to call me. As one CEO to another I have plenty to say about customer service.
