The Inn keeper was super friendly and accommodating. She graciously responded to our request to be moved out of our first room because the smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming. She helped us figure out problems with the new Roku service they had bought for the TV, and she quickly provided new pillows at our request. There was coffee and pastry every morning. All that said, the "cleaning" was subpar--our trashe overflowed, the carpets had not bee vacuumed, and, the place was dusty. The bedsheets and pillows were old, and the sheets on one of the beds had old stains (blood?) and cigarette burns. On the outside, the handrail was so sticky and gross, we had to use a paper towel to hold on to the rail, and even that ended up getting stuck. Piles of boxes and who-knows-what, cluttered the areas by the stairways. We opted to leave a day early and had no regrets paying a little extra for better accommodations at a near by location.
