I arrived late at night. There was a kiosk machine to check inn it was quick and efficient for me. No elevator, Average Breakfast.

The on screen clerk who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, but the kiosk is a BAD idea.

The room was clean, fresh towels, fresh sheets, everything wiped down. No bad smells. Yes, there is a virtual receptionist for check in. But I have to say I preferred it that way. It’s very easy to use. One of downside is the breakfast. The toilet paper was very cheap and scratchy. And the air conditioner made some strange noises. Over all it is a very decent place to stay, I would recommend.

Overall room was nice. Nice size tv on wall and a ceiling fan. Good variety at breakfast . The virtual check in was not great. I expect personal service when checking into a hotel.

We initially had a room on the 2nd floor, where there was no elevator. However, the helpful person on the kiosk screen arranged for us to move to the 1st floor.

This hotel is located on the north side of Stevens Point, near an I-39 interchange. It is next to a larger hotel, a Comfort Inn that I have stayed in before, but decided to give this place a try. It is clearly an older property, and fairly small, only two floors with perhaps 20 rooms per floor. It has been renovated, but the older style room layout and tiny bathroom reveal its vintage. Other than a sink that drained slowly, everything else was fine, no complaints.....except it seemed I could hear the TVs in adjacent rooms more than I am used to. The hotel is in a district of strip malls and such, but surprisingly not that much in the way if nearby sit-down restauants. The UW campus is almost next door, just a few blocks away.

the kiosk checki-in process is terrible. i had two rooms on one reservation and each had to be checked in separately despite ONE reservation. Also, staff is rated “terrible” because they’re non-existent. the customer contact i has was with a computer screen. the neutral score for conditions was for my tv which wouldn’t turn on except to say their was no connection & there’s no room phone to call for help and if i did call who would i get because there’s no one at the desk anyway. i didn’t pursue any assistance with it because i was leaving for a play at UWSP & didn’t want anyone in my room while i was out for the night. stayed here in the past when visiting family @UWSP. this will have me choosing country inn next time.

Property told me that Expedia had “an error” in reservation. Spent 30min attempting to check in for my sons wedding after a 4hr drive. Eventually settled but the hassle has caused us to avoid using Baymont properties & Expedia as a whole since the event. Sorry to have this experience

Black Mold in bathroom ceiling! Vendi g Machines very unkept,almost empty..both drink machine and snack machine. Bed was.lumpy and saggy...must be pretty old! The hotel had a kiosk you used to check in, get room keys and directions. No elevator in this 3 story motel. Smelled moldy in hallways and rooms. There were big bugs on the bed. Checked out and asked for a refund within 20 minutes of arrival!

Chose this place to stay that was NOT the cheapest option. It was fine, but tv remote didn't work (couldn't even turn on) and took 15 minutes to get another one (which turned it on but didn't control channels well enough to find the Home Game (football). Had an iPad option, so I let it go. Staff did offer new room, but we were settled so stayed put. No juice (not working) and no fruit in breakfast buffet.

With a full house on Friday night, Saturday's breakfast was depleted before 8:30am with hot items, including waffles all gone, juice dispenser not working. fruit gone, and limited space for the capacity of the building. Sunday morning there was no evidence of hot items at 8:00am.

My credit card was double charged...once thru Expedia and once again at the Inn. When I called to inform them of the double billing the guest service agent insisted it was not double charged. I assured her it was indeed double charged as I was stairing at my online banking when I called the inn. I then asked to speak to the manager and a Christa(sp?) rudely informed me they had not double billed us. She then finally admitted to double charging us but that it was credited back later that day. The credit has not posted to our account yet and a simple "I'm sorry" would have gone a long way. Instead, she continued to argue with me and told me "hey, accidents happen". I am quite aware accidents can happen and that is what a sincere apology is meant to help resolve. She was extremely rude and we will never stay here again!

Had to wait at check in, nobody was at the front desk. Carpet in room was sticky not very clean. Room smelled moldy when I entered, had to open the window. Double billed for my stay, and not good customer service when I called to fix that.
