Great breakfast, friendly owners. Disappointed with their pet friendly policy. A small fee for having our dog, no problem. Unfortunately once in our room their information book stated dogs, if go on beds a charge of £40 will be applied, no mention of this prior to booking. We paid for our stay, no problem. The following day £40 had been taken from card. No reason given or permission from us. If its about cleanliness then perhaps they could concentrate on cleaning remote control (absolutely filthy) and remove cobwebs

Very old hotel. Room adequate though tv not working. Roman blinds on windows difficult to close. Staff very friendly and foid tasty.

Lovely old inn with lots of character. Staff friendly & attentive. Landlord very helpful with local advice on places to visit. Food good & reasonably priced. Right at the edge of town so a fair walk to the centre. Plenty of parking.

Killin visit
The hotel was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are so spacious and clean. The food was delicious and so yummy. It was a treat for my mums birthday and she was not disappointed.

The hotel was built in 1765 and it is a wonderful old Scottish inn. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and big with a large bed. We had dinner at the hotel and the found was delicious. We would love to stay here again.

The dinner in the restaurant is excellent. Reservations are recommended. Staff very friendly. We were upgraded to a suite and it was newly done and spacious.

Wonderful
Staff was friendly and attentive. Had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both were excellent. They had to modify the room configuration slightly to meet our needs and were attentive to this. Communication with us was wonderful prior to arrival. View from the room of the mountains and river were terrific. Worth considering for a stay, would liked to have been able to stay longer.

Great location and nice building but in need of a refresh. The food was excellent and the staff were helpful but forgetful when it came to taking an order/ request and not delivering on it.

We had a wonderful night's stay here in a comfortable family room. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a superb meal in the hotel restaurant which we'd thoroughly recommend. All in all, great value for money. We'll be back!

Great hotel, stepping stone to the Highlands
My wife and I had a great time and as mentioned with other reviews, the hotel staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food was top notch and none too pricey. For a 253 old building it’s not in bad shape. A little rough around the edges but the important things like clean comfortable rooms, staff, food and location sold it for us. We’ll be back there next year!

A little oasis
Traveling with our two adult children. PLENTY of space in our room. Staff was amazing. Dinner was superb. Breakfast great. Location peaceful. I will be back.

Toller Beginn unserer Schottland-Rundreise
Hotel an der Straße gelegen, trotzdem in der Nacht ruhig. Großer Parkplatz. Zimmer geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Frühstück vom Inhaber selbst zubereitet. Restaurant im Hotel sehr empfehlenswert, unbedingt bei Ankunft Tisch für den Abend reservieren. Hotel 2 Fahrminuten zu den Wasserfällen Falls of Dochart gelegen.

Will be returning to Bridge of Lochay
A lovely characterful inn. Lots of real history. Comfortable bedroom. Fantastic food and very friendly pleasant staff. So much to see in the area. A real get away from it all destination.
