Oh for a good nights sleep
Good location basic room but was very disappointed with the ‘plastic’ pillows nice clean pillow cases but crinkle when you sleep in them. Like sleeping on your shopping bag! Food in the restaurant was great.

Beautiful spacious room with lovely sitting area overlooking the hills. Loved the roll top bath. Really friendly and helpful host.

Overnight in Killin
Booked a Small double which was the only room available on the day. Room was very nice but perhaps a little cramped for two people. Welcome and the staff were excellent and breakfast was great. Also had our evening meal in the restaurant which again was very nice.

One night stopover
A beautiful inn in a stunning location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was lovely; nicely presented, very tasty and good sized portions. The slight drawback was that due to Covid the pillows had to have waterproof protectors- which rustle- however good to know they are following Covid guidelines and keeping custimers safe.

A short break at The Courie Inn.
Given the current restrictions placed on the hotel industry the stay was excellent and the staff were very helpful and understanding. The did everything to make our stay and visit very memorable.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Inn. It was comfortable, quiet, and had a charming and active little pub. We plan on coming back to the Highlands one day and will try to book here again.

Lovely little local inn
The family running in the inn is friendly and very helpful. Our room was nice and our beds were comfortable. They accommodated my sons desire for an expensive menu item by making making him a kids version. Killin is lovely and very picturesque. The nearby Ben Lawyer Reserve is a great place for hiking.

Wonderful
Enjoyable three day stay with hosts Christina an Jim. Lovely accommodation and hearty breakfast. Special thanks for the breakfast bag when we had an early tour scheduled. The location was peaceful right by the canal and an easy walk into town. Beds were comfortable and tea/coffee available in rooms. Great suggestions made for day trips, evening meal, and entertainment. We definitely recommend!

Wonderful staff, couldn’t have been made more welcome. Dog friendly, fantastic large room with space for our two dogs. Great bar with cracking atmosphere on a Saturday night.

Very nice hotel
We needed to arrive early to pick up the room key as we had to be at a nearby wedding until the early hours of the next day. We let them know in advance and the staff were kind enough to oblige. The room was very comfortable and there was a delicious breakfast the next day. We are planning on staying in the area again and will make the Courie Inn part of our plans.

Fabulous hotel in picturesque village.
A very comfortable hotel with a very good restaurant. Are here twice and both marines the meals were excellent. Had the best smoked salmon and scrambled eggs ever for breakfast! Killin itself is a beautiful place and ideally situate for touring and sightseeing and the Courie Inn was a lovely place to come back to after a long day walking in the hills. Only one very small gripe would be a shelf or something to put toiletries on in bathroom but this is being very picky!

Fabulous Stay!
Hotel amazing! Very clean and tidy. Bar had loads of atmosphere and plenty of fine areas to choose from. Food was excellent, particularly the Cullen Skink which was super tasty. Killin itself is great and with plenty to do if you like the outdoors. Will definitely return.

A Gem
We were visiting Killin whilst taking part in the SCDA one act drama festival. This small hotel was everything we expected, and more. Warm, friendly, clean and comfortable. Excellent staff and delicious breakfast. Thoroughly recommended.

Beautiful location and service
The Inn is located within walking distance of Inch buie and the falls of Dochart. Bedroom was spacious with small living room and modern bathroom. Breakfast was a meal in itself. Had a wonderful stay.

Nice and central location but room disappointing
Room at the very top of the building and was so hot it was unbearable, even with both windows wide open, temperature outside was not overly warm and no heating on. Room was also incredibly small and the bathroom door would not close, the bathroom itself could have done with a good deep clean. Staff nice and friendly and nice little bar and restaurant. Beer was good and the food was average. Had booked and paid for 2 nights but left after 1 as feeling under the weather and could not bear another night in the boiler room. Would visit again but making sure of which room was being booked.

Just what I reuqired
They looked after my car, which I left parked on the front of the hotel, for one week. The owner even offered my a parking spot on her own house drive. They contacted me within 24 hours about something that I had left behind at the hotel. The food in the bistro was excellent.

Excellent stay.
Overall, an excellent stay. Only minor negatives were a very small ensuite in an otherwise spacious room and lack of healthy options on menus. Would definitely recommend.

lovely stay room on the small side but very comfortable and clean. Food was very good as was the service. The staff were all very friendly and helpful , would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area.
