Excellent space!
This was a very clean, beautiful motel with amazing views out the front door! I was very impressed with the cleanliness, decor and service. We will definitely stay here again!

Great motel!
This was a perfect location with great views of lake and bridge. Very clean and beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was all updated. If I had one recommendation, it would be to add a toilet paper holder. Soap dish in shower and an extra towel rod or two. All in all, great motel and I’d stay again!

Always a treat!
This was our second stay at the Rivera, and as expected a great time. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, with spectacular views of both the beautiful Mackinaw bridge in the front window and the lovely park beachfront at the back window! This is definitely our home away from home in Mackinaw city ❤️

Fall getaway
Will definitely stay here again!! Close to the bridge, big clean towels, full shower, cold mini fridge, plenty of space and REAL COFFEE in the room!! Oh and the price was reasonable also.

Perfect motel.
Great stay at this hotel. Nice bed, spacious room. Convenient to everything in town. Coffee was good, too.

small room, mostly dated. Update to Bathroom very nice. Seemed like a higher rate for season and size but if you want views of bridge, then you’re paying for location.

We loved the lake and bridge view. Plus the park around this motel. We just didn’t get the room that I put in for. Made reservations in March. Felt like I should have had the room that was reserved. Our vacation was this weekend 9/21-24/23.

Our stay was wonderful! Friendly service, and so clean and homey! The rest I’m ate not huge but so comfortable. The views are breathtaking! The staff is more than accommodating! There is a coffee bar in the main lobby, but no breakfast! There are no microwaves in the rooms either. Bring a hot pot and you are all set for your morning oatmeal! The rooms are older so we did have a bathroom door that stuck a bit, and a wobbly towel bar. Other than that we were so very pleased. We’ll definitely recommend this venue and return next year!

The views of the lake, the lighthouse and the bridge are spectacular! Location is perfect for walking to everything. Like many of the motels in the area, this one is older and showing it's age a bit, and like everything in Mackinaw, somewhat overpriced for what you get. But our room was clean and quiet, the beds were comfy and the shower was hot. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Quaint, old school motel. The “bear” decorations were cute. The owner/manager was a bit slow in showing up after we rang the bell. What we REALLY like is you just walk around to the back and you are a few steps away from the Straits of Mackinaw.

It’s an older property and the room I was in needed to have the bathroom updated. I was told that only 4 more rooms needed bathroom renovations. Other than that….. it was super clean and you couldn’t ask for a better view of the water and bridge. Everything was close by. The staff was nice. I enjoyed my stay.
