Quaint hotel in the heart of Mackinac Island
We really like this hotel, it's in the heart of downtown Mackinac Island, so it was the perfect place to regroup between biking around the island, shopping or going out to eat. Our view wasn't the greatest, as we had a room that looked out over an alley and nearby houses, but we weren't in the room that much that it made a big difference. The price was reasonable which was an added bonus.

We loved our room. It was very spacious and had exactly what we needed for our family of 4. Our only issue was that one of the two “comfy” chairs in our suite wasn’t properly supported as the straps were broken. Other than that our trip was fabulous, right down to the clip clip of the horses right outside of our window.

Location is great. Staff are amazing and very helpful with everything from check in to check out. Rooms are unique and have a “somewhere in time charm”. The evening “cookies and milk” service at night was such a nice surprise and perk for the kids. Love this hotel and will be back.

When we booked the room it says it sleeps 6. It slept only 4 , we had to pay an extra $20.00 for a roll out. The management would not budge on not charging for the roll away bed. Next time I will recommend and use other properties to stay.

Rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable. Staff are very courteous and helpful. It's located right in the heart of downtown, which is a plus.

Nice hotel right on main street
This is a nice main Street hotel. The furniture was a little outdated and the air conditioning quite working on our 2nd night but quite nice for an older hotel

It was amazing It is located on the Mackinac Island so you have to take a boat ride to get there from Macikinac city

Wonderful place to stay right in the middle of Main Street. Large rooms. Excellent location. Friendly staff. Reciprocal benefits with Chippewa hotel allowed my kids to use their giant hot tub was a nice added benefit.

Romantic hotel
Beautiful suite with lovely amenities and very comfortable bed. Everything you might need was there. We loved the balcony both in the morning and the evening when the town looks very different than during the busy day. The dock porter Louis was fantastic too so you don't have to carry all your luggage with you during the day.

Our stay was early in the Mackinac Island season and not all amenities were available, but it is a lovely hotel with delightfully decorated comfortable suites. It was not cheap, but nothing on the island is cheap!

The Lilac Tree Inn and Spa
This getaway was fantastic! I highly recommend this as a place to stay. It was so beautiful and the staff was amazing. We are planing on staying next year for a few days. The best of everything including spas and massage.
