Great convenient stay
I was travelling by myself and booked a standard single. Everything fully met my expectations and I slept better in the bed than at home! I brought a travel kettle with me which was very handy. The hotel is very convenient to lots of local transport,shopping, and restaurants. I found the internet to be excellent, contrary to some reviews. I streamed multiple videos and Skyped without any problems.

The location of this hotel is wonderful. The rooms are big. And those are pretty much the only advantages. The people at reception are not exactly welcoming. They're not rude, but they're the least welcoming reception in a German hotel I've ever come across. The hotel is a maze... From reception, we had to go up two flights of stairs, walk for a good 3-4 minutes, then go down a flight of stairs to finally get to the room.... And despite being in the back of the hotel there was SO MUCH NOISE every night. I can sleep through anything so it didn't bother me, but I couldn't hear the TV sometimes because of the noise outside. The back street has some parking spaces, but it looks like there were also entrances to buildings, and people would talk there while smoking for hours... Oh and the free water the hotel advertizes is half a scam. You have to do a precise thing to get it but they don't tell you until it's too late...

We advertise transparently on our homepage and in the room with a door hanger. During your stay, hang the appropriate side of your door hanger on the outside of the door, forgo room cleaning and not only help to save energy and water, but also look forward to receiving your drinks voucher This will be placed in your room. Simply redeem it for selected drinks at the bar or reception. A donation will also be made to the Nader Etmenan Foundation.Hopefully you will visit us again.

Location is excellent. Given a room and the internet is so poor, request to change room, given another room on a higher floor and the internet is worst. Room flooded after shower and it takes them few hours to come check. Informed me no room to change to ...... have to stay for 3 days with very very poor internet.

Confusing hotel layout. But once you figure it out it’s good. Friendly and flexible staff. The room isn’t special…no AC etc…very European (obviously) but was clean and comfortable while dated. For the money, I’d certainly stay there again.

Google says this hotel has a/c in every room. It doesn't. It doesn't have any a/c. It doesn't have any *ventilation* at all, so you have to keep the windows open all the time. This is a serious problem because (1) it's too hot in summer and cold in winter; (2) it's really noisy on the weekends until 2or 3am; (3) Stuttgart often has bad air quality. No ventilation just isn't acceptable in 2023. The hotel advertises "soundproof rooms" but there's no such thing as soundproof if you have to keep the windows open all the time. Expedia lists the breakfast buffet at 12.50/day. It was 20/day when I was there. The rooms are *bare.* No kettle or coffee maker. No iron. Squishy, bouncy mattress. Single, lumpy pillow. Uncomfortable desk chair. Tiny TV with limited channels. The whole place seems kind of old and beat up. When I arrived the wifi didn't work (misconfigured router) but they eventually moved me to a different room, where I was close to a different router that did work. There's no fitness room or lounge or any other amenities really. The staff were friendly and tried to help. They found a tiny, old desk fan with broken controls for me. But the condition of the whole place is just atrocious. Bottom line, this hotel is for people who want to stay up all night smoking and drinking. If you like clean air and getting a good night's sleep, stay elsewhere.

The staff were very friendly and efficient and the location is convenient in the main shopping area of the city. The rooms and bathrooms are clean but the property is otherwise dated with most carpets looking a bit tired. Many of the rooms have windows to a service courtyard where all the airconditioning units humm loudly so you cant sleep with an open window. The TV in my room had not been tuned so there were no channels you could watch and the bathroom sink was blocked. Both got fixed the next morning after i reported it so the staff react well to feedback and try to resolve it as quickly as they can. Still there were other little things like the pillows being quite lumpy and them running out of the drinks on their drinks menu both nights that makes the place feel a bit basic and unloved.

We loved staying here
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. A bit jaded in decor. Fantastic location. Right beside an underground station. Lots of good places to eat on the same street. Breakfast a bit basic but price better than other comparable hotels. Friday night was really noisy but Saturday no problems. Overall we loved staying here and would highly recommend it.

The hotel was right in the middle of the shopping precinct… so close to everything… brauhouse, restaurants, bars etc .. all in the same street or around the corner… everything catered for from high end jewellery to coffee shops side by side.. only downside is they tend to sit out in the plaza till late at night and it got a bit loud even with the window shut.. but only there for 2 days so all good. The staff were lovely, the room was a great size and the ensuite bathroom was great … definitely would recommend staying at the Novum

This hotel is right in the middle of all the Christmas Market action. The staff is very helpful and the hotel itself is very nice. We really enjoyed the hotel. One thing to note is you can not drive to the front of the hotel as it is in a pedestrian area.

Pros: Location (in the heart of the downtown and < 15 min from Mercedes Museum), easy accessibility to the garage from inside the hotel, friendly staff, you get a voucher if you ask to skip the housekeeping service, heating is good, and pillows and the bed were comfortable. Cons: Old hotel and old furniture, no air conditioning, no view from the room, and only one kind of soap (for hair, hand, and body) in the bathroom, price is kinda high for the quality. If you have a car, make sure to reserve s parking spot immediately after booking your room online by contacting the hotel directly as parking spots are very limited and you would be asked upon checking in if you have reserved a spot.

Initial room was an airless shoebox with no wifi. Staff were lovely and gave us a much bigger nicer room but still very poor wifi The hotel is right in the heart of things, can be noisy late into the night

After booking this property we were told the hotel would be closed and we were rebooked at Novatel Rega in Stuttgart. The room was not clean, bad stains on the carpet, dark, run down.

The best part about the hotel is the helpful nature and friendliness of the staff. They will do everything possible from their side to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are a little small, but clean and neat. The overall experience is very positive. Would definitely recommend for people who want to stay in a central location.

Ok hotel in very central location
Very good location right in the centre of the city - yet as the room was further at the back facing inner courtyard it had no street noise (but there was some sort of an exhaust making noise there). The room was rather small but covered all the basics and was clean. Nothing special but an ok place to stay if you value location.
