An excellent two night stay. Room and hotel spotlessly clean. Beds comfortable. Staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay amazing. We did find there are no usb plugs in the room and an adapter had to be used. Also the plugs at the bedside were hidden behind the furniture.

Arrived for check in and the man sorry didnt get his name was very friendly and showed us to our room then later i went down to reception as our bathroom heater was not working and the bathroom was to cold for me. He went out of his way and found us a heated to put into the bathroom to warm it up so we could then shower. Breakfast was very nice the only thing that let it down was the sausage it was not very good quality.

Lovely, comfortable, friendly experience
We felt very welcomed and well looked after. The room was super comfortable, very nice bed, quality bedding and linen. Nice breakfast. So quiet. Would recommend.

WOW! Excellent, Top hotel, Breakfast fantastic.
I've stayed here approx 6 or 7 times over the last year, its always a 5 star experience. Its a beautiful place set back from a road (not a busy road). Its always exceptionally clean and tidy. Staff are always so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The full English breakfast is fantastic, always hot. I always try and stay here when I'm up visiting family and hope to stay again in Feb 2024.

Elegant and relaxing.
I had a lovely stay at the coach house. For the value for money I was really surprised at the high standard. It felt like a beautiful boutique hotel which was so nice to have since I was travelling for work. I was performing in a theatre show at the marina theatre so the location was great too, I was able to check in early. The breakfast had a brilliant variety and high standard and service. All in all a very relaxing time working.

Great assets are Faye & Rosie
There are key staff at The Coach House who are amazing - Faye, Rosie, Phillip, Louise. Great advisors on what to see and where to go in the local Region and all were wonderful recommendations. But i did find Dinner Service a little discombobulated on Saturday. The Bar/Restaurant team seemed a little overwhelmed with the busyness of the evening and there was only one person who was giving directive. It took over 20 mins to orderr food even after the chap came to take my order, but because I had to remind him to book in dinner reservation, he didn't come back, so I had to go to bar to order. A few areas for improvement - heating not working on some of the coldest nights so far this year - no heating turned on in the Dining Room during evening service, so need to wrap up warm - broken inner door handle on the Manor Room - broken shower dial - dusty radiators and cobwebs hanging from light fittings abd coving - initial request for additional flat sheet not fulfilled, so had to request again and remake bed to fit it in - moved the green velvet couch slightly and one of the legs was left behind, so obviously was already broken With a few refurbishments, this place would be wonderful.

Excellent hotel
We had a 2 night stay. The previous good reviews were spot on. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfasts. We ate dinner there one night too, which was decent. Good choice of wines at reasonable prices. Very spacious room and comfortable bed. Dog friendly hotel. Local pubs were impressive too.

From the minute we checked in, until we left, all the staff were really friendly, and helpful. This makes such a difference to any trip away. A spacious, clean bedroom, tasty food added to our break away. No shortage of places to walk with both the broads and sea being only a short drive away

The coach house in Suffolk just on the edge of Lowestoft was a delightful place for our stay. They were dog friendly which was a plus as we were travelling with our dog, but it turned out to be one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at! Great property- very quiet in the main house , we had a family suite with a very comfy bed ( choice of hard or soft pillows!) great breakfast & extremely happy and friendly staff that helped to make the stay a pleasure! I had read great reviews on Expedia so imagined it would be good - but it surpassed my expectations. I would definitely return ( which is something I don’t always think!) Great job!

There was nothing my wife and I didn't like about this hotel. The staff were all very polite and helpful. The food was top quality and the facilities excellent. This was one of the best value for money hotels we've ever stayed in and expect to return.

Staff excellent food brilliant, convenient location for touring the area. Beautifully restored Manor house was a pleasure to stay in. Our room (18) was situated adjacent in a purpose built area, to the property and was very quiet. Our room was decorated to high specs with all modern amenities, with a massive shower loads of hot water. We will be staying there again in the future. We highly recommend The Coach House Suffolk. For those interested in old buses and trams there is a tram museum right next door but no noise was ever heard from this area. Thank you to all the staff for a great getaway that my partner and me enjoyed!

The staff were friendly. Breakfast was nice. They did not mind at all that our dog was with us. They seemed very accustomed to having dogs there. There was already a fan in the closet in the room when we got there. Perfect for a hot day!

Delightful hotel room 18 especially suitable for us with dogs. Met owner explained about refurb soon. Must put in USB points which I am sure he will do. Would have liked outside hose for hogs and advice about dog waste bins. All in all a very nice place to stay and will recommend.

On arrival were greeted and immediately felt at home their delivery of hospitality and professionalism immediately brought calm. Throughout our stay the staff were attentive caring always providing that special touch. Lovely place to stay. Quiet, clean, well run and with friendly staff. The hotel is situated next to a Transport Museum (well worth a visit) and there is the bonus of good bus services to Norwich, Southwold and Lowestoft. When asked why we were staying in the area, we mentioned our anniversary and two glasses of bubbly were brought to our room within 5 minutes!

The property interior has been renovated in a tasteful way. The public rooms are comfortable and large and my bedroom was excellent in every respect. Superb breakfast.

Perfect for long OR short stay, convenient for venturing further East to Lowstoft or Northwest to Norwich. If interested in transport, the Museum is next door --no more than 50yards.
