What a beautiful place for a peaceful get away for a couple of days. The owner is wonderful and friendly. She cooked up great breakfast and a very nice fruit platter and banana bread waiting when we checked in. Will stay here again for sure.

Poppies is In a lovely quiet area..The room was very clean and thegardens are lovely and peaceful. Michelle is very friendly and offered tips on local places to visit. A delightful couple of days away.

Michelle and her family and friends made us feel very welcome. Hannah cottage was delightful and the grounds were beautiful. Breakfast was a delight both days. We look forward to staying at Poppies again in the future.

Paradise
A relaxing time away for a birthday milestone. Couldn’t have wished for better. Michelle and Ziggy welcomed us as though we were close friends, even though it was the first time there. They were amazing hosts. The room and surrounds were comforting and luxurious. Breakfast as well as the fresh muffins, shortbread, chocolates, liqueur, array of teas, coffee and fresh orange juice were all top class and enjoyed. We were close to a variety of restaurants and attractions but yet felt as though we had nothing else around us with complete serenity. Absolutely magnificent.

Beautiful, peaceful getaway with amazing service.
This was a well needed one night getaway. The room was spotless. The fridge was stocked with a fruit platter, yogurt, muesli, various drinks, and bread and butter. There was everything you would need for self catering. A beautiful mineral pool and the most amazing greenery around you. Breakfast was served whenever we wanted it and was delicious bacon, eggs, toast and salad. It arrived with a freshly baked apple and cinnamon muffin. Everything was perfect.

Great environment!
The grounds and location are great for a relaxing break from busy urban life. I felt completely calm immediately I arrived. My suite was well equipped and very comfortable and private. Michelle really tries to make you feel welcomed with excellent bathroom toiletries and linen. I loved every minute at Poppies Bed and breakfast!

Must stay
What a lovely weekend we had at Poppies. From the minute we drove through the gate at the lush, secluded and peaceful property we felt special. Owner and host Michelle is the epitome of what welcome feels like. Wee felt instantly as if we were visiting friends. The suites are large, spotless, and well appointed, providing privacy but also a view across different aspects of the property. The pillows are so, so comfortable. Our suite had a lovely, modern claw foot bath with a view. A few aromatherapy baths salts and I was in heaven. Michelle was very generous with breakfast. Fruit platter, toast, juice, coconut water. Whatever you think breakfast should be. Bircher was delicious. We have promised to go back for the scrambled eggs ! The magnesium pool, numerous areas to sit and contemplate, the pond, roaming chickens, beautiful groodle dog called Ziggy, local honey, super green lawns and landscaped surrounds made this a sanctuary for us. All close to everywhere on the Sunshine Coast. We were actually invited to dine with Michelle and other guests one night. It was wonderful. Thank you Michelle for your hospitality, genuine care, and generosity. We will be returning and telling everyone that this is the place to stay when travelling to the Sunshine Coast.

Tropical hideaway
This was a charming hide-away among the tropical forest. The owner was so friendly and welcoming and had thought of every detail to make us comfortable. Fantastic breakfast, comfortable and quiet rooms, and a luxurious bath to enjoy the birdsong from. Thanks so much for a memorable stay!

Terrific accommodation great reception
Unfortunately did not get to stay the night as a violent storm ripped through the area downing trees, power lines and some flooding prevented me from returning after an evening out. Was very pleased with reception by Michelle and am looking forward to returning at a later date to complete the holiday.

Perfect peaceful location
Poppies bed and breakfast is a perfect location in peaceful bushland surrounds. Michelle is an excellent host going out of her way to make sure our stay was everything we wanted, even offereing to drive us to the function we were attending nearby. We will definitely be back.

Great B&B among the trees
From the moment we drove into Poppies, we felt very welcome and relaxed. The gardens and Bali Hut invited us to spend time outdoors but we were off to a wedding in the area so our friendly host Michelle showed us to our spacious Madeleine suite. Wow! A claw-foot bath in addition to a large shower, comfortable bed, a deck over-looking the dam...everything we could possibly want and need for an overnight stay...shame we didn't have more time available to enjoy this beautifully-equipped accommodation. And before we decided designated-driver matters, Michelle had asked if we'd like her to drive us to the wedding as it was near-by! After a great night's sleep, we really enjoyed the delicious breakfast available in our kitchenette's fridge: the BEST Bircher muesli, fresh fruit, toast...eaten on the deck while we soaked up the peace & quiet. Just perfect!

Relaxing, luxurious weekend away
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Poppies. We were sad to leave and only wished we could have stayed longer .....next time for sure! It was an absolute delight meeting our host Michelle. She couldn't have been more welcoming and we felt very at home. Her desire to make your stay truly enjoyable is amazing. We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. We didn't mention this to Michelle until our departure - she said had she known, she would have made it even more special! Can't imagine how - she did a fantastic job as it was! The room was gorgeous & very romantic - beautifully decorated with a super comfy bed and clawfoot bath. The breakfast was beautiful and very generous and the freshly squeezed juice was divine! The surrounding gardens are so serene and peaceful you won't want to leave. Thank you Michelle, we will be recommending Poppies to everyone!

Loverly place to stay, awesome breakfast delivered straight to our room by our host Michelle. She also recommend Ricks Dinner for an evening meal this place is well worth the trip.

A great spot to stay on the Sunshine Coast.
We stayed for a week and so we were able to assess the facilities, service provided and the surroundings. We were welcomed warmly by the owner and the accommodation was clean and well set up for two people. The property was well located, parking was provided and the environment was quiet at night. There were families staying in one or two of the larger units which were spaced well to provide privacy. The breakfasts were varied daily and were healthy and of good quality. We will be staying again at Poppies when next we visit the Sunshine Coast.

I wish I had more time in my busy schedule to spend here, my stay was only overnight, but it was so much better than staying in the high rises at Sunshine Coast hotels. The owner was lovely and engaging, and could not do enough for me. This made my long trip away from home a little easier.Thank you so much. I look forward to staying there again next year.

First B & B and owner served all our needs and questions. Freshly made food in fridge upon arrival and a hot cooked breakfast served at our time. Liquor to relax. Owner put much effort into small details e.g. books, music cd's, dvd's, bath salts, homemade biscuits. Huge claw bath which my baby bathed with me. Crisp linen sheets and pillows. Quiet, shady with bbq, weber and shelter. Looking to book the Hannah suite next, truly happy with service.

Nice, peaceful bushland setting.
We had a really nice stay. Michelle the host was very welcoming. The property is in a quiet bushland setting. The room had a nice patio where you could read or relax. There was a dam close by with a beach area for swimming. The breakfast was also very tasty.

Private, comfortable, cozy and quiet.
We were met by the owner and shown to our accommodation for the night, the Chloe room. This is the studio room, but is very roomy. The bathroom is spacious and has a separate toilet. The room also has its own private entry and balcony. We, sadly, could not use the balcony due to the rain, but it would have been a lovely spot to have breakfast or a drink in the afternoon. Breakfast was very generous, as were the homemade treats provided to have with our cuppa. The surroundings are picturesque and oh so quiet. We went to sleep to the sound of crickets. Heaven! Michelle, the owner, was very welcoming and friendly, even offering to cook us a hot breakfast should we desire. All in all, a very pleasant stay and I highly recommend doing so.

We had a very enjoyable night at Poppies Moolahah Valley.....very clean, lots of food for breakfast, bed comfortable....good movies to watch....BUT the TV was VERY small and very low....hard to see...

Lovely Surroundings..
It was very pretty and peaceful with lovely surroundings, the garden was beauitful but we were disappointed with nearest town Mooloolah where there is no where to eat.. there was bar there which sells food but it close early ..the nearest place was about half an hour drive?

We only stayed one night to get away from Brisbane and do some site seeing. Our hosts were very helpful and informative about the surrounding area. The accommodation was very nice and clean.

Home Away From Home
We found the accommodation very clean and comfortable. Very relaxing and a lot of little extras eg teas, home made biscuits, bathroom products. Generous continental breakfast supplies in room. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. A country like location with IGA 5 minutes away for all lunch and tea requirements. BBQ also available. Excellent

Absolutley lovely, although it rained it was still a pleasure just sitting within the beautiful surrounds. As regular B&B users (world -wide), we rate this B&B as one of the cleanest and most comfortable that we have ever been in. We would recommend this B&B to anyone.

Beautifully refreshing after the usual chains
It was very relaxing in the clean air in a setting of tropical greenery. The food provided in room was all fresh, even real milk in a jug for beverages instead of the usual plastic stuff. To sit on the veranda of an evening and hear only the wildlife calling. Bliss. Breakfast was all fresh food with multiple choices for most tastes. Everything was well thought out.

Lovely surroundings and the food at Jae's at the Bowling Club was fresh, delightful and reasonable in pricing. Near to Montville, Maroochydore and Mooloolaba was handy...still restful.

It was beautifully hidden away surrounded in trees and flowers we stayed in the Chloe suite and it was private and just absolutely adorable! The owner was so lovely and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Beautiful rural hideaway
Last minute booking for a wedding nearby, perfectly suitable for what we needed. Immaculately clean, lovely little touches such as fresh flowers, fresh baking and a local paper. Would definitely go back.
