Overall a great place to stay. Bit of a grump who kicked us out of the pool before opening time. Stood there and shook his head at me.. anyway, was my fault for not noticing the time the pool opened, but he could have handled better..

Super stay at Noosa! Perfect.
A lovely, relaxing time at this lovely accommodation. Everything was perfect for our arrival, with amenities and extras. Little touches in kitchen and throughout to make us feel completely at home. Thank you so much for the care shown, to keep this venue so clean and welcoming.

Views, Cool Breeze and Convenient Location
We really enjoyed the ambiance and friendliness of the team here. Tennis, swimming, canoe fine dining around the corner. Views were awesome.

Beautiful loacated apartment
It was a perfect time we spent at Skippers Cove in Noosa. - one of the best places during our journey through Queensland. Beautiful located apartment, everything you need and more! The view from the balcony was stunning, we enjoyed breakfast and dinner or just sitting there. We got something very good recommendations for dinner out or a boat trip - awesome! Highly recommend this place!

Skippers Cove Waterfront Resort
We stayed in town house number 17 next to the pool. The size of the house was good and the location was excellent. However it was quite dated and the soft furnishings (cushions, sofa) and carpets were quite dirty. The overall cleanliness of the house (bed linen, towels, kitchen surfaces, fridge/freezer) was good and there was a starters pack which included washing up liquid, tea towels and laundry detergent was helpful. The staff at the resort were really nice to deal with and regardless of the need for carpet and soft furnish washing we would return.

Great place to stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Skippers Cove! The property managers were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had a great view overlooking the river and canal. We appreciated the free use of kayaks and enjoyed a daily SUP around the "island" and exploring the local area on the bikes available for hire. We would definitely stay here again and have recommended the apartment to friends and family.

Wonderful apartment - right on the beach
This is simply the best place to stay in Noosa. The apartments are gorgeous, the proprietors (Jamie and Leanne) are so friendly and very helpful. The waterfront location is central to everything you need in Noosa - you won't be disappointed - it's just beautiful.

Fantastic birthday celebration
We celebrated a friends 60th birthday, sharing it with his family and friends. They stayed in a 3 bedroom unit while we stayed in a two bedroom with another couple. We all had a fantastic time and wore ourselves out with lots of swimming, fishing and kayaking. Units were so comfortable and had everything we needed for our two night break. So great to have the water right at the front door.

Living the dream!
We were pleasantly surprised with this resort. We stayed in apartment 13 which was upstairs and at the end of the apartment block. It had a lovely big balcony with waterfront views and we took great pleasure in relaxing and watching the boats go by. The kids had so much freedom with the use of kayaks, pools & half tennis court. We have totally recharged our batteries and would definitely return to Skippers Cove.

Great location, awesome view, friendly staff.
Had a fantastic stay at Skipper's Cove. We were met at reception by very friendly managers and were able to check in early which was a bonus. The apartment was much bigger than expected and even though it is only 2 bedroom it also had a loft so my children were able to sleep in separate rooms. The view is awesome and the facilities were good. My children liked the pool and spa and I loved the fact that you could just step from your unit straight onto the beach. They also have kayaks which are free to use and half court tennis.The management is new and very accomodating. We will be back soon. Kathy

Great resort in Noosaville
The apartments were very clean, light and airy with quality fittings and nice homey touches. Located on the canal front in Noosaville, it's in walking distance to Noosaville restaurants. Great pool and BBQ area - everything you could need.

Great for families and excellent value for money
Clean, spacious apartment with own garden leading onto a communal pool and bbq area. Some apartments look over the water. Fantastic for families. Excellent location in Noosaville. Either a 3 min drive, 20 min walk to Hastings St in Noosa.

Location location location
Arrived a little before checkin time, but was welcomed by the new management to access the room early. We stayed in Unit #20 right in front of the pool which was fenced and great for our toddler. The room was tidy, well equipped and comfortable. The pool was heated and in great condition. Easy access to the beach was wonderful too - free use of the kids beach toys and kayak a welcomed surprise too. It's easy to see that James and his team are working hard to bring this place back up to scratch - we wish them the very best and will definitely be back soon!

Great Place to Stay
A fantastic place to stay for the family. The owners were fantastic hosts, welcoming and informative. Our apartment was like a home, spacious, clean and well appointed with all the creature comforts that one could ask for. Our apartment faced the central pool and BBQ which was great for just going for a swim or cooking dinner on the BBQ. A brilliant place to stay

Great location. Easy to shops and beaches.
The pool facilities are fantastic for families and kids especially. And great to have easy access to riverside beach in addition. The staff were friendly and helpful and the apartment very spacious. The apartment we had (a family apartment with two bedrooms next to the pool) was a little dated in terms of decor, a bit creaky here and there and the oven wasn't great but for the price we paid all of those things were expected and overlooked. Good value for money.

Great location, ideal for young children
Great place to stay fantastic for young children as they can play on the sand and you can watch from your deck swimming pools are also fantastic, we unfortunately had probably the worst appartment out of the lot, it needs to be renovated to bring it up to the standard of all the others. As the price is the same for all apartments receiving one that was quite old with various items broken or not working was disappointing. Staff were very helpful and as the appartments are privately owned there is only so much they can do, I highly recommend Skippers just don't stay in apartment 7 until it has either been renovated or is offered at a discounted price.

Our Skipper Cove expderience
When we arrived and were shown to our apartment, we were immediately concerned for it was 'tired'. However, it was spacious and clean and tidy which means a lot to us. We were not on the river front as anticipated and had swimming pools as our frontage. When we tried to use the pools, they were being used by families with children and even to sit in the loungers, and try to read, it was quite impossible with the noise etc., - the childrens' activities. We found that we had no washing powder when we used the washing machine and little for the dishwasher. There was one (1) toilet roll on the holder in each of the 2 toilets - not full ones and we had to buy replacements. The apartment was serviced every 7 days and we had to dispose of garbage in the garbage holder each day. The reception attendance was very poor.

Disappointed to find the shower leaking through the ceiling in unit 19. The resort knew about this, and we're preparing to rent the unit to other travellers the following week. The cleaner was bleaching the stain as we were leaving. Otherwise the decor is tired; a lampshade broken; marks on some walls and doors.

Good time with old friends
Meeting up for a weeks holiday with old friends seemed like a good idea which it was overall. However, the first thing we did was flip to see who got the room with 2 single beds. We lost the toss and got stuck with the single beds. Oh well, not all lost. What!?! Only one bathroom to share between the bedrooms? We managed with proper planning. No TV in our room, but by the time we were climbing the stairs at bedtime, we didn't miss it.

Short Stay
Very happy with room and location. The pool got a good workout by the kids and the BBQ facilities were very clean. A relexing place to stay and would certainly come back again.

Beautiful Sandy Beach at your door
Skippers Cove is the perfect choice for a wonderful Noosa Holiday. Easy walking distance to Hastings and Noosaville eateries.The apartment we stayed in was situated right on the beach and had been newly renovated.The apartment was well equipped and beautifully decorated.

Nice communal facilities, old tired apartments.
Stayed in a 2 bed apartment, poolside. After reading other reviews about the complex we understood there were old and renovated apartments. We phoned to find out which we would be able to book. Were told it would be a renovated one. When we arrived we were told that our booking had been changed and the original apartment wasn't available. They offered to move us to a beach front apartment but we have a young child and chose the poolside one specifically as it had a gated garden, so declined. We were eventually put into a poolside one but it was pretty dated. The guy on reception said it wasn't the worst but a bit old (can't believe the use worse ones). The apartment had a nice bathroom but the rest needed a major make over. The kitchen tops were cracked, the washer and dryer didn't work very well, there was black mould on the net curtains, outside lights didn't work, marks on the walls, chips the the plaster etc etc. Beds were old and uncomfortable, no form of heating downstairs (was 6c overnight so cold). When we complained we were told that they can't guarantee an apartment when booking and each owner is responsible for the condition. If they can't guarantee a unit they should not have told us otherwise when we called before booking? Overall if you get a refurbished apartment I'm sure you'll like it. If you are not lucky enough to get one then expect old and very tatty. Certainly not 4* "luxury" as marketed.

Great resort, small and friendly. well located in a quiet part of Noosaville away from the main main strip yet close enough to walk too, or drive as parking isn't an issue. stayed here as a family with two smaller children (6 and 3), and the facilities we great for both of them as the pools are lagoon style and allowed both to play in their comfort areas.

Good location, good beach for kids.
The rooms have had some renovation which is good, but a lot of the fixtures and furniture need replacement. The air con in the main bedroom rattled every time it cycled, annoying at night. The lounge was like sitting on a sack of potatoes, old and uncomfortable. The showers were a good size but did not not have any soap holders. Kitchen utensils were either missing or in poor condition and some appliances like the sandwich maker were damaged. While we had off street parking, we had to carry our bags back along the street to get to our room and the car park was not big enough to fit our car in and get the family in and out. Inconvenient especially when it was raining with two small children. The website gave the impression the rooms were on the beachfront which they were not. There were no staff available to check in on Sunday, would be handy even just for a few hours from 2pm. It looks like a lot of effort has been made to bring the older rooms up to standard and they are nice, they just need the finishing touches completed otherwise it looks like only half the job has been done.

Great location and renovated unit very nice!
We had a great time staying in Noosa. However, the unit was not very clean, plates, glasses and cutlery in drawers dirty. Bathrooms had mould in shower - in a near new bathroom, toilets not cleaned well. Corners of all rooms needed to be vacuumed, downstairs tiles needed to be mopped. Not enough cleaning products left to use for the dishwasher and dishes.
