What a stunning place.. the room was so cosy, it was so warm and snug. The ambient lighting in the room made it feel so comfortable and i couldn't wait to get into bed, on waking up, you have the view of the river outisde the balcony, it's so picturesque. The bar and restaurant is next door to the hotel, and is also beautiful with a great atmosphere. Also the staff are very welcoming, friendly and polite. There is also a free secure car park next to the hotel. Will definitely come back again.

Lovely Indian gentleman at Reception - very helpful, professional, friendly. LOVED the room, LOVED the bed, LOVED the bedsheets, utterly comfortable - I needed to escape for 1 night, and this did the trick. I will come back. Thank you 🙏

Not what is used to be...
We stayed this weekend with our last stay being 2 years ago to the day. Our last stay was great and we couldn't say enough good things but this time was not the same unfortunately. There was no staff, just two people working the entire pub on a Saturday night so they had to close the restaurant. We had a table booked but were told no table service we had to eat in the pub area and order at the bar which was a shame. Wish we were told this before hand! Due to no staff all of the tables were left with empty plates and glasses on the tables so the place looked dirty. The 2 staff that were working were great and we felt sorry for them, they were doing their best. Our superior room looked good on the surface but as we looked more it wasn't the cleanest room, the pillows were clearly dead and gone with no life in them and the shower gel etc had clearly been there quite some time. we had about 8 plugs in the room and only 2 were working which we did inform reception about but nothing that could be done late at night. At breakfast my booking included breakfast but did not say that there end so i had to show my booking confirmation to prove it which was annoying. Another little thing that just hampered our experience. The staff were all great and the breakfast was great. Dinner was average and not good value for money. The pub was very quiet and the lack of staff makes you question why. Such a shame as we were so excited to come back to this place. We will look elsewhere next time.

Best hotel experience yet.
Gorgeous room, lovely staff and lots of additionals you wouldnt expect usually, such as sky, aircon, nespresso machine and even a safe for your belongings. The bathroom was stunning and the shower was amazing to use, especially with the products the hotel provided. Only stayed the one night but will absolutely be using this hotel again in the future.

Expensive and rooms in need of some repair work. Electrics didn’t work, bathroom door didn’t close and sink blocked took ages to empty! Not worth £140/£150 a night!

Wish we could have stayed longer.
We came to Chertsey for a family party and had a lovely overnight stay at The Bridge Hotel. The staff were very welcoming and efficient and our room was spacious and very well equipped. To our surprise in addition to the usual desk/dressing table with chair there was a comfortable sofa and an armchair as well to sit on to watch the large TV with an occasional table nicely placed to hand. The bed was pure delight to sleep on, there was plenty of hot water and everything was very clean. Then the breakfast!!!! Oh boy, we both had a full English and it was one of the best ever. The location, along side the Thames couldn't have been more tranquil and picturesque. We only wished we could have stayed longer.

What A Shame
Was greeted with a smile, great local information. At first I thought it was a cool room. Just perfect. I was in a large room by the main road, the road noise was horrible, ( I might as well of slept outside ). I went down to the restaurant to have a meal, was delivered and never saw anyone once the food was on my table, no one came back to see if everything was ok with the meal-nor drinks. Considering they have a great write up on the restaurant food, the service was terrible. Was a lovely looking bed but hard as. I ended up sleeping in the duvet. I was booked for three nights, on the Sunday afternoon I returned from a lovely day out to find my bed not made, but everything else done right down to refilling the water bottle, my bed looked like someone else had been in it! I walked down to reception to complain-all I got was sorry, will let the house keepers know in the morning, next time you stay we put you somewhere else. I decided I had enough and check-out that late evening!

Staff were pleasant. Bathroom could do with updating. Restaurant food was ok but I was ill and believe there must have been some cross contamination as I got swollen throat blisters in mouth and was very ill that night. I DID inform waitress if allergies! So not good.

Brilliant hotel with parking
This is our second visit to this hotel, easy self check in service which is completed online prior to your check in date. Great to have hotel parking on site, the hotel provides you with a token, which is entered on exit. We booked a river view room last time, which had a lovely view of the Thames, unfortunately on this occasion due to the hotel being full, our room faced the car park. All the rooms are bright and airy with comfortable beds. We would definitely stay in this hotel again, but next time book early to secure a river view.
