Amazing views right on the beach. Quick access to coastal path for walks. Very clean kitchen, showers and lounge. Would suggest bringing food with you to cook as limited food options in the area. First YHA stay, we were very impressed.

Beautiful spot
Excellent location right on the beach. Great VFM and a lovely ambience with staff, holiday makers and walkers. Would stay again if in the area. Room as expected. Basic, but very clean. Its a YHA.

It was really nice, the card machine was down when I arrive and I didn't have any cash. They were kind enough to allow me to check in and pay later in the day after I was able to get cash back at the local pub. They also helped me organise a taxi to work the next day as I didn't know the area and my phone was having signal problems. Would highly recommend to anyone who is travelling and would like a simple room in a beautiful location.

The view over the beach. reasonable facilities, friendly staff, ease of access to Port Einon, We had a lovely 4 day stay and woul;d stay here again.

Excellent hostel by sea
Amazing location, friendly staff, clean and tidy hostel - would thoroughly recommend this YHA to anyone. Being situated in an old lifeboat station you are right on the coast with lovely views and sounds of the sea with benches outside or comfortable sitting room with picture windows.

Ideale Unterkunft für junge Leute auf Gower Island
Ein sehr herzlicher Empfang und unkomplizierter Empfang, allerdings etwas schwierig zu finden. Für ein Hostel sehr sauber. Da wir die anderen Einrichtungen nicht benutzt haben, können wir kein urteil abgeben.

Fabulous settiing
This is a perfect place to base yourself for a stay on the Gower. Very affordable and comfortable. The main lounge has huge Windows that look out to sea with comfy couches for a rainy day or evening reading. Lots of books on the history and geography of the area. Kitchen is available for guests. The bunk bed was actually extremely comfortable. Diane and Martin, who run the place are just lovely and extremely helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Just one note: watch out for creepy crawlies in clothes and such as they are abundant in this corner of the world.

Exactly what you'd expect
It's a youth hostel. So facilities are basic. Location on the shore is excellent, bit remote if you don't have a car.

Poor welcome
Beautiful location.stayed here in the passed and loved it. Unfortunatley it now has new people running it who were not very welcoming. It was a shame as we had very fond memories of this place and couldn't wait to return.not as relaxing as previous visit.
