Great location, and great layout. Didn’t try the spa, so can’t comment but the options available are great. The map doesn’t make much sense, for walking about and there was only one way to walk back to our sea view room (in Wadi Rum) but which wasn’t marked on the map. There was also quite a bit of work/renovation ongoing, presumably to. Improve the site before peak season, particularly by the beach.
Things that are great: Dining options, Size of the plot, Entertainment in the Village Square in the evening, Facilities available (eg Spa, Tennis court)
Improvers: Facilities are not quite up to the same standard you would see in similar premium European type hotel/spa complexes, Beach entrance is small and rocky - feels like a problem that could be easily resolved through having a bigger access area and making a more user/friendly space around the entrance and into the sea (remove the rocks and stones!) … and lastly, just a small point, but I wanted to buy an ice cream on the day we departed but there was no-one available to sell me one. Stand was empty, and other staff members were telling me to “go to the stand” when I asked at the bar or reception. Not impressive for a Movenpick hotel!
