Relocated by Hotels.com . ESA run apartment, communications were very poor by them, not giving us a confirmed check in time until I called them four times.
Advertised car park space, which should have been £5 per night was not available ! The car park next door was £38 per night, as were the local car parks. We may have picked a parking notice while in Morrisons temporarily while at the meet & greet, as they charge per hour without us knowing !
Street Parking locally is by permit only between 8am - 10pm Mon to Sat, so basically there is nowhere nearby to park !
The apartment itself although modern, had a really bad odour, which our host could do nothing about ! The noise from upstairs was unbearable at times, with children running and banging about until 11 at night !
The front of the ex college building is very untidy and unkept .
I would not stay here again if offered a relocation, this only happened as our original booking for the new Swindon Ibis should not have been accepted, as it wasn't even open for business! Hotels.com tried to blame us for this until they realised their mistake.
A nightmare booking which has left me very wary of booking with Hotels.com again.
