You get what you pay for
We have stayed in numerous motels over the years. The condition of this room was the worst we have experienced. The carpet tiles were filthy, the bathroom door would not close, the two fans in the bathroom don’t work, the shower curtain was filthy, the electric jug would not turn off. The air conditioner was too noisy to have on and you couldn’t reach the adjustments. Even the paint work is horrible. A 10 year old could do a better job. The only reason we stay there is because of the location. A brief walk to 10??? Cafes/Restaurants, the Sunday morning markets and we love the colonial atmosphere of Windsor

The chap at reception was surly. The bed was worn out and had the wood frame and old foam rubber showing through the fabric on the base. They must be worried about losing teaspoons because there was only two wooden sticks for cutlery. Yea tray was dirty. Needs some friendly staff and a refit.

In need of renovation for more demanding customers, all light switches functioning and installed in more practical locations and perhaps a less noisy air conditioner.Not bad for the price.

Not a Family Friendly Accommodation
The location of the rooms is pathetic. The management was not friendly to show proper directions finding stairs. The room had insufficient toiletries and no drinking water tap. Fridge was not working and no proper dishes available. Also you could hear noise from other rooms very easily

Tried telling me I had to be out a day before I actually had to leave. Got woken up by some silly old bloke telling me to check out even though I paid until the next day. Room was dirty, hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Room and linen had a body oudur smell which took 3 bottles of room spray to eventually mask the smell. Overall extremely disappointing experience. Poor customer service. Have emailed the ACCC with photos and video taken of the unkept room.

Clean but left lots to be desired
The room was clean but lacked in provision of enough crockery etc, no foot towel or face washers provided, towels were threadbare and the blanket on the bed was a single blanket on a double bed, remote control for the TV did not work properly and the payment of $50.00 deposit for the room key was extreme.

No smoke alarm in the room the carpet was wet overnight from being cleaned on 7pm that night while pouring rain and blankets on the bed were wet around the edges from not being moved while cleaning, bathroom floor felt slimy, cups in the room we’re not clean overall experience was terrible I would not recommend going back to anyone

There was a dead cockroach on the cupboard and the cupboard would not have been dusted for months - I am tall though so this is why I saw it, but you couldn't miss it if you had to turn on or off the air conditioner

Needs a Bulldozer
Stayed there on 10th July 2019.Reception was rude and unfriendly, room old and dirty. 5 wheelie bins parked at the door plus stinky ashtray bucket with butts all around. Rubbish from previous customer dated months before still in bedside table.The mixer tap not fixed to the vanity basin. The reception and key fob indicate "Golden Chain" - nothing like their standards. Blankets needed binning, fly screens torn, jemmy marks in the door frame are not welcoming.Air conditioner and heating un-serviceable. The township is in a slow death, so give this place a definite miss.

The place was terrible, the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. There was a tampon rapper behind the toilet, no lock on bathroom door, shower screen was filthy, carpet was disgusting, broken flyscreen, could not reach air conditioner, paint of bathroom door, bathroom door wouldn’t close the list goes on.....it needs a health inspector to investigate ASAP.

we liked the convenient location ( close to eateries) although could have been informed of the detour to enter the property. The reception staff member was off hand. The room was unclean. We would not shower there or walk on the carpet without our shoes. when we found a 2nd pillow in the wardrobe it smelled of stale sweat (no pillow cover present) when we went to bed there was a used tissue between the blanket and the top sheet. we will not stay here again and will pass the word to friends to do the same.

This place is a disgrace, I wouldn't put my foot into the shower so I waited until I arrived at our next destination, that is how I would sum it up. Not the ideal place when you are on holidays

Terrible motel reflects the sad town
We stayed a long 15 days in this motel, and whilst some of the staff were eager to please the motel has long since seen its best days. Most days the rooms were not cleaned, or at best part cleaned, the bed covers likely has not been cleaned in years. It clearly is a place waiting to be demolished and so no expenditure or attempt to keep it in a semblance of order.

Terrible customer service
They advertised for a twin room and it was a double bed. We changed rooms and then they charged more money even though we paid for a double. Do not stay here at all. It is disgusting.

The staff were beyond rude, cancelled my booking without permission and then were refusing to give a refund. As a single woman I slept in my recently crashed car in the car park of McDonalds as they canceled my booking. If I could give a minus rating, I would.
