Stefano is a superb host. He greeted us at the B&B and spent some time showing us around. He also made breakfast, which was amazing. He was happy to talk with us about Sicily. The hotel and our room were really nice. Our room had a separate balcony overlooking the nature reserve. The hotel is a 10 minute drive for Ortigia. We were grateful to be able to view Syracuse and Ortigia from this location and to stay in a quieter area. We would definitely stay here again and can’t thank Stefano enough for his hospitality.

Excellent séjour au B&B LE SALINE
Nous avons passé un séjour excellent dans le B&B LE SALINE .Excellente chambre ,propre, avec toutes les commodités. Stéfano s'est révélé être un hôte exceptionnel. Il est toujours à votre écoute, donne de très bons conseils sur la région ,les restaurants,.. Il prépare un excellent petit déjeuner. C'est vraiment un endroit superbe! Merci STEFANO.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at B&B Le Saline, with a great host - Stefano. The rooms are very clean and catered for all our needs. The B&B is less than 10 minutes drive from the hustle and bustle of Siracusa, but is an oasis of calm, overlooking the nature reserve. There are views across the bay to Siracusa and beaches. Parking on the road outside is convenient and the road finishes at the house, so no through traffic. Stefano prides himself on a varied breakfast which was different each day, with mainly ingredients from the garden. He is very friendly and happy and speaks perfect English and is always ready to help with advice and suggestions. His family are also very friendly, always with smiles on their faces. Stefano was also very good and approachable before our trip. We couldn't fault him and the B&B and would happily recommend a stay here.

Lovely B&B by with view of flamingos!
Stefano is a wonderful host, very welcoming and friendly with attention to detail - his breakfasts were delightful, delicious and so well presented. As a bonus for us he speaks perfect English as our Italian is sadly non-existent. We enjoyed the deck with view of the salt marsh from the deck off of our room. All in all a wonderful place to stay in a quiet neighbourhood.

Tutto perfetto, dal check in alla gestione del proprietario. Unica piccola nota, la stanza al nostro arrivo era un po’ fredda visto il periodo; però poi alla fine con il climatizzatore acceso nel giro di 1 ora abbiamo risolto. Colazione super!

Commençons par le principal : l’accueil très chaleureux de Stefano qui a fait le maximum pour que je sois à l’aise dans son établissement. Le B&B est situé à côté des Salines de Siracusa (réserve naturelle) d’où on une vue imprenable sur l’île d’Ortigia. La chambre est spacieuse et confortable avec frigo, climatisation et salle de bain. La propreté de la chambre est irréprochable. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et fait avec des produits maison : pâtisserie, confitures, jus de fruits. Le stationnement se fait dans la rue mais cela ne pose pas de problème car le quartier est calme.

Ruhige, sauber Unterkunft
Das B&B ligt etwa 5km von Ortigia entfernt. Sehr ruhige Gegend am Ende einer Sackgasse. Auto unbedingt notwendig. Stefano bereitet ein sehr umfangreiches köstliches Frühstück, das täglich variiert. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber. Ein guter Platz um den Rummerl der Stadt zu vermeiden.

A treasure in Siracusa
Great accommodation very clean and comfortable. Great location and free parking. Host Stefano is a very warm and welcoming person who really looks after his guests. The rooms are super clean and the breakfast fresh and tasty and all made by Stefano. I can’t recommend B & B Le Saline enough. If you are in Siracusa do yourself a favour and stay there!

We stayed for three nights at Le Saline and wish we had booked for longer. The rooms were very comfortable, the breakfasts excellent but the best part was the warmth Stefano showed our family. He gave great tips on where to visit, where to eat and where to park. He was always helpful with whatever query we had. We would highly recommend Le Saline as a wonderful place to stay. Thank you Stefano - we will be back soon!!!

This B&B with parking facilities is a very short drive to Ortygia and the host Stefano is one of the friendliest and most helpful that we have come across. The information provided was invaluable and helped us get the most out of our 3 night stay in the area.

Le must des B&B sur Syracuse...et bien plus encore
Vous ne pourrez jamais être mieux accueillis, Stefano place la barre très haut au niveau de la qualité du petit déjeuner, de ses précieux conseils, de sa gentillesse et sa bonne humeur. Bref le top du top. Et en plus de tout cela, la chambre était super, la situation idéale. Rien à redire, si vous avez la chance que ce B&B soit dispo, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !!

Un accueil adorable, sans réserves .Vous aurez droit à toutes les descriptions possibles de la région , un restaurant peut être retenu pour vous ainsi que les meilleurs conseils pour vous parquer et organiser votre visite de Syracuse.La chambre est spacieuse climatisée avec une très grande terrasse sur les salines.Nous recommandons le petit déjeuner exceptionnel : tout est fait par l'hôte..( le pain, confitures, cheesecake aux fraises, crostinis au jambon crudités, mozzarella et roquette.... Exceptionnel !!!

Ottimo in tutto, assolutamente consigliato
Quando abbiamo prenotato non ci saremmo mai aspettati una stanza così curata e soprattutto l’accoglienza che ci ha riservato il proprietario, disponibilissimo a spiegarci cosa visitare, dove mangiare e dove parcheggiare! La stanza è spaziosa e con ogni comodità e vanta un grande terrazzo la cui vista spazia tra la baia di Siracusa da un lato ed un laghetto di fenicotteri dall’altro. Poi la colazione è stata veramente eccezionale, preparata a mano e servita nel giardino molto curato... veramente tutto ottimo! #uniqueexperience

Don't miss this gem!
This B&B is absolutely wonderful. Mostly because of Stefano off course!! What a lovely host! The rooms are decorated with humor and taste, clean and comfy. Stefano had tips for beaches, restaurants and other fun experiences. We visited the best beach during our week thanks to Stefano, ate the best dinner thanks to him! The B&B is situated in a calm area close to Syracuse. And last, but not least, the breakfast! Stefano bakes and makes everything himself! The best breakfast on the entire island, no doubt!!

The host--Stefano-- and his family -- was warm, welcoming, and so accomodating. The breakfast was delicious and the villa was so nicely decorated. My friend and I would definitely return if we were to go back to Syracuse.

Stefano and Giulia are great hosts and very helpful and fun. we stayed there for 3 nights and were super happy with the B6B. Especially the recommendations from Stefano for restaurants and sights are really good. we followed his instructions and had the best food experience in sicily.

wonderful b&b
marvelous little place comfortable rooms with views of nature reserve with flamingos easy access to the city wonderful breakfast of local cheeses,salami fresh red orange h juice— not the typical cakes we suffered through at other b&bs the host was very giving

Personal and helpful!
We had a great stay at B&B Le Saline. Bug comfy room with our own terasse. Great view over the sea, Syracuse and Etna. We got a warm welcome and tips on where to go n see in the city. The stay ended with a very delicious home made breakfast. I can highly recommended to stay here.

Wow, we spent our last night in Sicily in Stefano's stunning B&B and wish we had stayed longer. The property is oozing with style and good taste and, from a conversation over breakfast, there are grand plans to improve it yet further. But the most impressive points are Stefano's extremely warm welcome and efforts to make sure everything is perfect, and the outstanding breakfast prepared by his girlfriend. The latter alone could almost justifies the room cost, it is that good: the menu changes daily but for our stay this included olive, orange, lemon and fennel salad, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh cheese, peppers stuffed with tuna, smoked cheese and rocket, freshly baked biscuits, bread and homemade jams, coffees, ... The rooms are extremely comfortable with A/C, chilled water. We also were given an excellent recommendation for a friend's restaurant in Siracusa for which I'll leave a separate review. The location is out of town, but only a short drive away, much more tranquil than the city, and convenient for the local beaches and archaeological park. Very highly recommended!

B&B La Saline for a warm and friendly welcome
Le Saline Siracusa is the perfect example of how a B & B should be run. Tastefully decorated and a beautifully maintained property run by hosts Stefano and Julia who welcome you like family to their home. They take great pride in their place and with personal touches like fresh water and glasses in the rooms, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is a delight, served in the cute dining room using products like fresh cheeses, meats and jams sourced from the local area. Julia’s sweet treats like nutella and yoghurt drizzled with honey are a delight and juice squeezed fresh from the orange trees just outside the door. Our stay there was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily

The nicest people that I have ever meet!
We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young kids at the age of 4 and 6). We stayed in La Saline for 5 nights. Before our staying Stefano the owner of the B&B had contact me and ask me if one of our family is vegetarian or vegan. I told him that my husband is vegan and each morning he and his family prepare for him a special vegan breakfast. The breakfast was so tasty, and the kids loved it. Stefano and his family helps us to decided were to travel in sicily, they called places, they helped us with tips were too eat and were to visit. It was wonderful to stay in Le Saline! Thank you so much.

Trevligt och välkomnande
Vi tillbringade 2 nätter på Le Saline, men hade gärna stannat längre. Allt var perfekt, rent, fräscht, modernt och rummet verkligt trevligt inrett. Anlagd trädgård runtomkring huset. Stefano och hans familj gjorde allt för att vi skulle trivas. Frukosten varierades varje dag och var mycket delikat. Vi fick jättebra information om vad som fanns att göra i området, bl a gick vi en promenad och tittade på flamingos. Vacker natur runtomkring. Allt vi behövde! Perfekt boende om man ska besöka Sirakusa. Rekommenderas p deet varmaste!

Un lieu stratégique
Nous sommes restés 5 nuits. Avons visités les villes baroques ainsi que Syracuse et surtout Ostygia. Nous avons eu un excellent contact avec Stéphano et toute sa famille et (les petits chiens), des gens charmants qui sauront vous conseiller et seront aux petits soins. Ils parlent tous un excellent anglais. Nous ne pouvons que vous recommander l'endroit.

Parfait
Sur les 5 b&b que nous avons pu faire tout au long de notre séjour , c'est celui ci qui sort du lot. A moins de 10min en voiture du quartier historique de Syracuse et des plages . Quartier calme , dans une impasse , très facile de se garer. Bonnes indications ( panneaux) pour trouver le b&b . Nous avons eu la chambre verte : decoration soignée , propre , spacieuse , balcon avec vue partielle sur les Salines . Petit déjeuner frais et copieux. Et surtout, Stephano et sa famille sont super! A l'écoute , souriant et donne de bons conseils pour les restaurants , coins à voir, oú se garer dans Syracuse ...

B&B bien tenu. chambre agréable et bon accueil
1 nuit passée dans ce B&B. bien tenu, propre, chambre bien équipée. parking devant l'hôtel. situé un peu à l’écart de la ville mais permet d'aller sur les plages en 5 minutes (en voiture). bon petit déjeuner. très bon accueil

Highly recommended
Our hosts (two young couples) went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The three course breakfast(!) was certainly different and delicious, particularly Giulia's desserts and was served in the garden. A car is pretty much "a must" to get to the restaurants nearby and for visiting the city.

Très bon accueil
Très bon accueil. Double chambre familiale, très propre et modernes. Hôtes très attentionnés et excellent petit déjeuner. Proche en voiture de Syracuse et d'une belle plage. Tout pour réussir un séjour à Syracuse.

Quiet retreat with gourmet breakfast in the garden
Lovely room with a private bath and a large roof deck overlooking both the ocean and the local salt marsh nature preserve. Attentive hosts served a 3 course breakfast every morning in their lovely small garden. Quiet location just outside Syracuse, good signage to find it from the highway.
